Porsche Purchase Note 8: Porsche 911 Route Tracking Part 3 (Toyohashi Port)

Posted date: June 16, 2023 Updated date:

Finally capture the ship carrying Porsche with a live camera

When you saw the blog title, did you think, "Isn't the story about the ship finished yet?"

that's right.

It's still going on. As expected, there is no need to continue "still" (laughs).

But there is still a continuation, so I would like to write about the continuation of the ship tracking with Porsche. last timeConfirm the state of the ship that called at Chiba Port at Umihotaru and Chiba Portwas doing.

I was secretly thinking that if I could go to Toyohashi Port after that, I would go to Toyohashi Port to see the ships entering the port. After leaving the shore, I immediately headed for Toyohashi Port.

Therefore, at that time, the scheduled arrival of the ship at Toyohashi Port was "4 to 5 o'clock the next morning" on the day I saw the ship at Chiba Port.

In that case, it would arrive a little earlier than I had expected, so my plan didn't go well, so I gave up going to Toyohashi Port this time as well.

But there is work to be done. Therefore, the day after I went to Umihotaru, I woke up at 4:00 in the morning and started tracking.

Although I can't go to Toyohashi Port again this time, my next mission is to see the appearance of Dalian Highway, a ship that carries my Porsche that moves in real time with a live camera from my home in Tokyo.

Search for car carriers from live cameras in Isewan

Now, I would like to write about when I caught a ship entering Toyohashi Port with a live camera. I would be happy if it would be helpful for those who will be tracking ships with live cameras in the same way in the future.

At 4:21 am on May 24, 2023, the ship "Dalian Highway" carrying Porsche was about to enter Ise Bay.↓

For me, who failed to capture the ship with the live camera last time, this is my second attempt.

However, this time I am more motivated than last time.

Because after I wrote the last failure on my blog, there was a person who reported that he was able to actually see the ship with a live camera.

Click here for details and comments received at that time→PoRuche 911 purchase note: ④Remote tracking of a ship carrying a Porsche 911 entering Toyohashi Port

This time, I decided to focus on the live cameras from "Irago Misaki" and "Hashidahana," which I also used.

The red circle below is Cape Irago.Isewan Vessel Traffic Service Center (Northwest), and the red circle above is ``Hashidahana Lighthouse

Get control of live camera every 2 minutes

As you can see when you actually access these live cameras, it is possible to obtain control rights to the live cameras. It is possible to enlarge / reduce the image and change the direction of the camera.

Live camera control rights can be acquired and controlled every 2 minutes if no one else wants to control the live camera.

If there are other people who want to use the live camera at the same time, it will be a contest for control rights (?), so when the control time of 2 minutes expires, the person who presses "control" first will be able to use the camera. It seems that you will get the right to move.

In order to track the ship, I think it is quite difficult if you can't move the camera yourself first.

If it's just a video that shows a specific place, it's just that various ships are reflected in the picture. It is not possible to identify whether it is a ship ↓

This time, I was chasing the ship around 4:30 in the morning, and it seemed that no one else was watching (wanting to be controlled) the live camera, so I was able to use the camera quite freely. Thank you for letting me do it ^^

Once you have control of the cameras, the first thing you should do is to check which direction each camera is currently pointing.

This time, I decided to identify the direction of the camera I was controlling by first looking for islands (yellow circles) near each camera (red circle).

From the previous comment, I was told that it would be good to use "Kamishima" as an index from the Isewan Vessel Traffic Service Center (Northwest) camera, so I searched for Kamishima and set the camera at that position as you suggested.

And at the same time, I watch the live camera while checking the time when the ship passes near Kamishima with the ship tracking app.

Here is a picture of Kamishima seen from the northwest camera. It is OK if you capture the same scenery as this image ↓

…At that moment, it was time for the ship to pass in front of Kamijima.

Here we come! ! ! ↓

I'm here, I'm here Dalian Highway.

Dalian Highway passing in front of Kamishima. Dalian Highway going over the sea while bathing in the morning sun. How divine (exaggeration).

Although it was through the live camera footage, I was able to see with my own eyes the ship carrying the Porsche sailing on the sea in real time at this very moment.

No more, if you say the impression at this time! !

I sit in front of my computer screen at home watching the live camera footage and watching the ship go slowly (no, it was surprisingly fast).

What a happy moment.

Anyone else want to control the camera? I thought about leaving it for a while after my control time ended, but it seemed that no one was using it, so I will continue to use the camera.

If there was someone who saw me moving the camera (without obtaining camera control rights), I'm sure that person also wanted to see the same purpose ^ ^

Since we were a long way from the front of Kamishima, I thought it was about time to switch to the next live camera, so I checked the position of the ship.

Then, at this timing, the ship moved to Ecuador again due to an unexpected GPS bug (laughs).

On this ship, sometimes I go to Ecuador instantly on the app like this. I wish I didn't have to go to Ecuador until the moment I was chasing anything with a live camera. ← I was pretty impatient at this time.

I had no choice but to quickly switch to another ship tracking app and check the position of the ship.

Yeah, it's progressing nicely.

Here, switch from the Ise Bay Northwest Live Camera to the Hashidahana Lighthouse Live Camera.

Start by looking for nearby islands.

Oh yeah, I think it's a good idea to "shrink" the camera image when you first look for an island that will serve as a guideline.

Since there is a time lag in moving the camera, it is better to use the minimum necessary movement because it cannot be moved instantly. When searching for something to be the first target, I think it is more efficient to set the target from the reduced image so that you can see the whole thing.

As the ship entered this area, I changed the direction of the camera from the camera that captured the island to the direction where the ship would be.

Also, the position of the ship on the app returns to the correct position ^ ^ ↓

And here is what I caught

I'm here, I'm here I came. Dalian Highway.

Seeing the ship that I was able to capture from a different angle and with a different camera, another person really smirked. Suspicious full throttle.

When I saw the ship moving forward in the video, I somehow lost my mind.

I really just stared at it.

This is the Dalian Highway seen from the other side, which I have not been able to see before.

As the ship progressed, the direction of the camera was also shifted...

Finally, the video captured by the Hashidahana Lighthouse live camera ends here.

I was very satisfied with this this time, so I thought I'd end it with this, but there was one thing that bothered me, so I looked at this one.Gamagori Classic Hotel Live Video

This live camera, when I accessed it before, it was "1 person is watching" and it was a live camera that became "Oh, am I the only one watching?"

I was curious this time too, so I looked it up... Well, again, "1 person is watching". After all, you're the only one who sees me (laughs)!

After that, the Dalian Highway safely entered Toyohashi Port and arrived at the berth.

This time, I was able to see a ship carrying a Porsche entering Ise Bay in real time with a live camera, and I was wrapped in a sense of accomplishment that I didn't quite understand from the morning.

This is the end of my days chasing the Dalian Highway.

After all, it seems to be a little "ship tracking loss", but from now on, I would like to think more about "Porsche in the ship" (was it different until now?) and wait for Porsche delivery.

By the way, when the ship entered Toyohashi Port, the position of the ship on My Porsche's TYD was here ↓

As for the progress, the date of transportation to the official dealer of 07 was "2023/6/4 to 6/29" until now, but after entering the port, it was changed to "2023/6/3 to 6/20". It was.

However, this also seems slightly incorrect. Because my Porsche is not likely to leave Toyohashi within this schedule.

For the time being, this is the end of the ship tracking. Thank you for staying with us for so long.

While saying that, there are still things I want to write about ships, so I think I'll write about one more time ^^

The purchase record will continue until delivery. perhaps.
