Porsche purchase note ⑤: Porsche 911 Dalian Highway finally to the sea

Posted: April 21, 2023 Updated:

A ship carrying a Porsche departs for Japan

At 4:00 am on April 21, 2023, we confirmed the progress of Porsche's Truck Your Dream (TYD) first thing in the morning, which has already become a daily routine.

However, the situation has not changed and it has stopped at "05 Completed car transportation started", and the next schedule to leave for Japan is "April 5 to April 15, 2023". It was supposed to be, but it didn't seem to have been put on the ship yet.

This is the situation in the morning

And after that, it was just after 7:30 in the morning on April 21, 2023.

I got your comment on my blog. Someone who completed the car at the same time as me said, "We just left Emden Harbor!"

What?

Whaaaaaaaat. Really?

Check TYD immediately.

Then, then, then! ! ! this! ! ! ↓

Wow! !

Status moved! ! At last we were put on a ship from Emden harbor and set sail. Impressed! !

There was no movement at 4:00 in the morning, and the status had changed after 7:30 when I received the email, so the status was changed somewhere between 4:00 and 7:30 in the morning. I will.

Hmm... I see, 7:00 in the morning in Japan time is exactly midnight in Germany, so I wonder if the status change was applied all at once at this timing (on the app).

Thank you for letting me know ^^

Looking at the route, my last 911 was via the Cape of Good Hope in Africa, but this time it was a route through the Suez Canal.

I don't think it's possible to make a perfect comparison because I think the places to stop and the number of days we stay there are different each time, but the number of days it takes to go from Emden Port to Toyohashi Port via the Cape of Good Hope and the Suez Canal is the final number. I'm a little happy that it's a different route from the last time because it seems that it can be compared to the other side ^ ^

The display on My Porsche has also changed.

"The customer's dream Porsche is one step closer to you," Fufufufu. happy.

If Porsche is already approaching, why don't you go one step closer from me? Or, I'm completely soaring while doing a meaningless delusion (?).

The next step displayed is at once "transported to Porsche authorized dealer".

Next, the status progresses on TYD, after the ship has already arrived at Toyohashi Port and the vehicle has been maintained and confirmed at Toyohashi VPC, the car finally departs for the Porsche Center where he is indebted. It's time to.

At 4 o'clock in the morning, when the status had not yet changed, this "delivery to Porsche authorized dealer" was "May 20 to June 23, 2023", but after the ship sailed, it was was changed to "June 4 to June 28, 2023".

Here is the current schedule ↓

A fun ship chasing life begins: DALIAN HIGHWAY

This time, the name of the ship that carries my Porsche 911 is "Dalian Highway".

Upon investigation, this Dalian Highway was a car carrier built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, which can carry 6,249 cars.

The ship is registered in Panama and has a total length of 199.90 meters and a speed of about 20.0 knots. Do your best and come to Japan~^^

Dalian Highway

My ship tracking started immediately.

As soon as I receive the name of the ship, I can confirm the position immediately (*I use an app called Ship Info the most).

Oh, I was tired.

A little to the left of Emden Harbour.

When I took this screenshot, the time when I received the location information of this ship was "April 21, 2023 10:43", so considering that, it took about 3 and a half hours for the status to change in TYD. The fact that there is a ship in this position later means that the time when TYD's status was changed was quite accurate to the departure time.

At times like this, TYD's update was out of date, and I could have just said, "Actually, I already sailed a week ago!"

I think that my smartphone will have more and more screenshots tracking the ship, but I think that everyone will not like it if I post it every time on my blog, so please post the progress somewhere again. I would be happy if you could report it ^^

I am very happy to think that everyone on the same ship will be able to enjoy the days of the voyage to Japan together. See you at Toyohashi Port! (No (laughs))
