911 Supercars: 6th anniversary of Porsche blog

February 6th has arrived in 2024.

This day is the day I opened this blog (set up the server and started it internally), and911 Cabriolet (992.1) deliveredIt is also exactly the 3rd anniversary of the anniversary.

A two-shot with a black Carrera when I took my cabriolet in for vehicle inspection the other day.

Today, February 6th, has already been 365 days since I wrote about my blog's 5th anniversary on February 6th last year. As for whether anything has changed for me over the past 365 days, it seems like I haven't grown at all (lol).

a. Well, over the past year, I have finally been able to drift my beloved 911! !

I'll never forget it, it was my first Porsche driving lesson.Porsche Track Experience (PTX)ofWhen I attended a class called Precision. That thing.

During one of the programs, ``Wet Steady Circular Turning'', we practiced accelerating the 911, and at the point where the tires gripped, let's off the accelerator and let the car slide.

At this time, I couldn't get the 911 to slide properly with the accelerator off, and I kept making excuses like, ``Aren't the tires on my car too good for not sliding?'' I was shocked by the fact that I couldn't even control the slide.

Since then, in order to better understand my 911, I have been practicing whenever I can, with the goal of being able to do one lap in a steady circular drift.

And over the past year, I have finally managed to get to the point where I can slide the 911 with the accelerator off, and even manage to go around a steady circle once (rarely 2 or 3 times). Finally (tears).

I'm really grateful to PTX for making me realize that even though I usually just enjoy riding 911s, I don't really know much about 911s, do I? I can't handle them.

*By the way, just because I thought I didn't understand, PTX instructors would never say that to a participant ^^

Of course, I think it's perfectly fine to just drive safely and have fun in a Porsche. But from that day on, I feel like I started wanting to ride a 911 more properly.

And after thatSunako JukuEveryone (Opportunity to learn drifting from Seiji Arainclude),Everyone from Porsche Club Utsunomiya gave us a place to practice and taught us.I finally got to where I am today.

It's still a long way off, but I think I'm able to get to know the 911 better than when I first participated in PTX. Well, I guess there's still a long way to go (lol).

Celebrating the 6th anniversary with Porsche ducks

The day before this blog's 6th anniversary, a heavy snow warning was issued, predicting snow to accumulate in Tokyo.

This year'sDriving on the ice at Yachiho LakeThere wasn't much snow in the area and they weren't able to make ducks, so maybe they'll get revenge for that? ? That night, we made snow ducks in Tokyo.

Since the M3 was still studless, I was able to go out on snowy days. We are making a duck using the snow that has fallen on M3.

I'm glad the duck making machine was able to make an appearance again this year.

We had a lot of fun making ducks using just the snow that had fallen on top of the car. This is really fun.

This time I put it together with the Porsche ducks again, but did you notice something? ?

That's right, there was a duck that wasn't a Porsche duck...

Well, I guess it's too easy to understand (lol).

This yellow duck is the featured product this time!

I saw it somewhere and fell in love with it at first sight and thought, ``I want to put this duck next to the Porsche ducks,'' so I bought it all the way from the British Museum in England. This is Tutankhamun duck from the British Museum ^^

This year, I thought I wouldn't be able to line up Tutankhamun ducks, Porsche ducks, and real snow ducks until next winter, but I'm so happy that I was able to achieve this dream. It was.

It was actually a pretty blizzard, but we had a fun night making ducks. Then, a few hours later, February 6th arrived.

I hope we can continue to have fun over the next year as well.

By the way, I wanted to take off the snow that had piled up on my car outside before I parked it, so I displayed the ducks I made on the side of the nearby road.

I started this blog after I came across a black Carrera and fell in love with Porsche 911 so much. Now celebrating its 6th anniversary:

  • Black Carrera (991.2)
  • Crayon 911 Cabriolet (992.1)
  • GT Silver 911 Carrera T (992.1)

I'm surrounded by three base models of the 911, and if I think about it normally, I'm in a situation where I wonder, "Why are there only base models...", but I like these so much that I can't do anything about it ^^

I'm really glad to have met the 911, and I'm really grateful for the relationships I've had with Porsche over the past six years.

I think I'll continue to write about silly things, but if you have time, I'd be happy if you could come and visit me again.

Thank you ^^
