Camper experience part 3: ① Also at the cabcon "Watercress"

Posted: Posted:

Third camper trip

My family first traveled in a camper van from the end of 2020 to the beginning of 2021.

This trip with a camper is the best fit for my family with three children, as I can go to various places without worrying about time, as if I were moving with my house. I did.

Normally, if you want to "see the sunrise", you have to wake up the children in the dark of the night, prepare and leave x3 people ... It's a difficult situation that you don't want to think about.

But if it's a camper, the kids will get to their destination while they're messing around in the car or sleeping, so I can just say "Let's go out!" Just before sunrise. Simplicity.

Therefore, it seems that the children enjoyed being able to go to various places and experience just by playing in the car leisurely, and playing in the camper itself.

We have enjoyed our family trip in a camper van, and now we are on our second trip.

Here is the record at that time ↓

And, in fact, I had already gone on my third camper trip. I couldn't upload it because it's a bit blogging (a lot of things I haven't written yet ...).

It's easy, but I'll also write about my third campervan trip. This third trip also rents "Watercress", which is based on Toyota's Cam Road.

What?

Why are you so impatient now writing a campervan travel record? ??

That's because ... I'm going on my fourth campervan trip again at the end of the year! Fufufu.

So if I don't write the 3rd time now, the 4th time won't catch up.

My first campervan trip was from the end of 2020 to the beginning of 2021, so I never thought I would go on a campervan trip four times in just one year (laughs).

It may be difficult to travel like I used to because of the corona, but ^^

This time, the aim is Tottori prefecture

Now, I would like to briefly write about my third trip to my camper van.

It's really just before deciding the destination every time. Furthermore, while running, I often decide on the spot and move, "Ah, are you going here?" The good thing about campers is that you can do that ^^

For the first trip, the main theme was "Ise Jingu / Gero Onsen", and for the second trip, "Cave Tour" was the keyword.

And this time, I decided to "see the sand dunes" as the main purpose, so I will head to Tottori prefecture.

When I go from Tokyo to the west of Japan, I usually stop at NEOPASA Okazaki.

After leaving Tokyo at night and stopping at Neopasa Okazaki, I continued to run and arrived at the roadside station "Kinanse Iwami" in Tottori prefecture the next morning.

I just stopped by for a rest, but from the Kirin Lion Dance (National Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property) that has been passed down in the Inaba region, there is such a cute Kirin Lion's "post that calls for happiness" at this roadside station. there was.

Cute ^^

Higashihama Beach, Tottori Prefecture

Before going to the sand dunes of Tottori, I wanted children to experience "singing sand", so I went to Idegahama, which is famous for singing sand.

Unfortunately, however, it was closed at this time and was unlikely to enter the sandy beach.

I couldn't help it, so I changed my destination to a sandy beach that I could stop by (although it wasn't singing sand), and stopped by the nearby Higashihama coast.

Because it's early morning, there is no one.

The very beautiful sea and sandy beach are completely reserved.

There are a lot of holes in the sandy beach, and when I thought about something, all the holes were dug by "crabs". I was in.

It's not easy to experience this kind of "seeing a real crab on a sandy beach with the sea in front of you" in Tokyo.

There are many shells on the beach, and it is refreshing for children to see the shapes of these shells one by one.

It was really the best time for me just to spend a relaxing time in such a place, and it seemed to be very fun for 3 children ^ ^

Main event Tottori Sand Dunes

If left alone, the children would be in the sea all day long, but the main purpose of this trip was "Tottori Sand Dunes".

I left the Higashihama coast and headed for the dunes.

Before, when I talked about deserts for some reason, I had a conversation saying, "There are no deserts in Japan, but there are places full of sand called dunes," so I actually showed the dunes. I wanted to.

Arriving at the Tottori Sand Dunes, there is a note on the stairs there ↓

This was written in a dialect and it was so cute. I climbed while telling the children, "Take the sand home!" (Laughs).

When you climb the stairs, the sight that spreads in front of you is ... dunes! !! !!

The pattern created by the sand is very beautiful.

It seems that there is a condition for this wave-like pattern called "wind crest" to appear, so it was really nice to be able to see the place where such a wind crest appears beautifully this time.

It's a good experience to climb up to the top of the hill desperately while being covered with a lot of sand and the sands flying together due to the strong wind that blows occasionally hits the body and makes me feel "painful !!"

From the top of the hill, you can overlook the sea, and with the strong wind blowing there, the sand at your feet floats a few centimeters and flies away, or you can see such a scene, and it descends at Star Wars. Did you stand? I felt like I was on a planet that I could think of.

There were also camels, so I took a commemorative photo (charged ...).

When I finished looking at the dunes and got out of the sand, my shoes were already full of sand. I don't think there is so much sand coming in.

Just drop the sand before returning to the car, well, all of this is a fun experience.

It's getting longer, so I'll continue ^^
