The Porsche 911 GT3 S/C made its debut at Air|Water 2026 in the United States.

What is Air|Water?

Air|Water 2026 was held in Costa Mesa, California, USA on April 25, 2026.

The Air|Water event began as an additional event to 'Luftgekühlt', a show featuring a curated selection of air-cooled Porsche models, which was co-founded by Patrick Long in 2023.

Luftgekühlt recentlyIt will also be held in Japan as 'LUFT TOKYO'.This became a hot topic.

Air|Water is an event that aims to provide a more comprehensive overview of Porsche's entire history, welcoming all Porsche models, not just air-cooled ones.

Since 2024, it has been held as a standalone event exclusively for Air|Water at a permanent venue in Costa Mesa.

Last year, Air|Water was held in Poland, and they have expanded internationally, but their main event is still Air|Water in Costa Mesa.

Apparently, 800 Porsches gathered at this year's Air|Water 2026. More than 9,500 people from all over the world came together for the event.

Porsche Motorsport celebrates its 75th anniversary

This year marks the 75th anniversary of Porsche's participation in motorsport, so the motorsport-related display vehicles attracted particular attention.

The exhibition also included several 962 prototypes, and the one pictured in the foreground is a Shell Dunlop 962, characterized by its asymmetrical red and yellow color scheme.

Dunlop is not only the official tire sponsor of Air|Water, but has also played a key role in the success of the 962 in both the American and international series.

Speaking of distinctive appearances, there's also the AO Racing 911 GT3 R "Rexy" on display.

Sally Carrera also made an appearance.

Perhaps because it was an event in America, Sally Carrera from the movie Cars was also there, andA one-off Porsche 911 Carrera GTS inspired by SallyThey also appeared.

Porsche 911 GT3 S/C unveiled to the public

Now, one of the exhibited vehicles that attracted attention this time was,Porsche 911 GT3 S/CI believe this was its first public opening.

Andreas Preuninger, Director of the Porsche GT Product Line, also made an appearance and apparently gave some explanations.

On this day, media representatives and invited guests drove GT3s and GT Tourings down the Angeles Crest Highway and headed with Andreas to the "Good Vibes Breakfast Club," a famous car gathering (or so it seems) held at Newcomb's Ranch.
