Porsche and La Marzocco have now unveiled the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 collection.

A tribute to the 911 Carrera RS 2.7

Porsche and La Marzocco collaborated in 2024.An espresso machine has been announced, limited to 911 units.However, a new collaborative collection between the two brands has now been announced.

That's the '911 Carrera RS 2.7 Collection'.

As the name suggests, this collection is inspired by the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 and includes premium espresso machines and other items.

The espresso machine announced was the "Linea Micra," and the coffee grinder was the "Pico."

The Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7, which inspired this product, was originally released in 1972 as a homologation model for motorsport, with an initial production run of only 500 units.

With its extremely lightweight construction, striking design, and powerful performance, this model gained popularity as a road-legal sports car.

Furthermore, this was the first 911 to bear the "Carrera" name and the corresponding decals on the side of the vehicle, commemorating Porsche's success in the Carrera Panamericana Road Race.

The "RS" designation is said to represent a focus on racing and rallying, and the most distinctive feature of the Carrera RS 2.7, which was the fastest German production car at the time, was its distinctive rear spoiler, which became known as the "ducktail" due to its shape.

So, this time, we're introducing a product that incorporates the distinctive aesthetics of the Carrera RS2.7, which still enjoys immense popularity, into an espresso machine. The three historical Porsche colors used in the Linea Micra (espresso machine) are as follows:

• Tangerine x Black
• Grand Prix White x Green
• Grand Prix White x Blue

In addition to these Porsche colors, it also features the distinctive "Carrera RS" lettering and the historical Porsche logo.

Attention to detail is evident throughout; the cup rails are inspired by the iconic "ducktail" design, and the black handles feature laser-engraved "RS" and "2.7" markings.

The analog manometer, featuring red and green indicators, has a distinctly Porsche style.

A magnetic badge featuring the "RS 2.7" graphic visually completes the edition, while the "One of 911" limited edition plate on the side emphasizes its special individuality.

La Marzocco's espresso machines are said to be very easy to use and feature-rich, while their Pico coffee grinders also boast professional-grade functionality.

This is not the Carrera RS 2.7 model, but the other dayDuring an event held at the Porsche Experience Center TokyoThere was an opportunity to try making espresso myself using a La Marzocco espresso machine, and I was actually able to make delicious espresso very easily.

That's right, the Grand Prix White Green and Tangerine Black espresso machines are each limited to 911 units this time as well.

The Grand Prix White Blue model is an exclusive to Germany, with only 150 units produced.

The car went on sale on October 30, 2026, at porsche.com, select Porsche Centers, and select Porsche Design Stores.

The Linea Micra espresso machine has a retail price of 5,790 euros (approximately 1,020,000 yen), and the Pico coffee grinder is priced at 1,550 euros (approximately 270,000 yen).

Porsche x La Marzocco Collection

The newly unveiled Porsche x La Marzocco collection also includes handcrafted espresso and cappuccino cups that reflect the iconic colors and design elements of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7.

The collection also includes apparel and accessories such as hoodies, t-shirts, caps, and socks in Grand Prix White x Green and Tangerine x Black colorways.

There was also a 1/18 scale model car of a Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7, complete with a miniature coffee machine, and it even had an espresso machine in the front trunk... so cute!
