Going to a Porsche girls' get-together in a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS
April 12, 2026, another fun day has begun.
I had originally planned to go out in my yellow 997 GT3 that day, but after learning about "a certain incident" the night before, I hastily decided to leave in my pink GT4 RS.
I'll tell you more about "that certain incident" later ^^

I enjoyed driving the GT4 RS and arrived at the go-kart track located at P5 of Fuji Speedway.
Beautiful weather!

Porsche Women's Karting Competition
This day marked the 8th joint Porsche Girls' Gathering between the Tokai and Kanto areas, and the main theme this time was a go-karting competition.

The event involved the Porsche-loving women renting out a go-kart track and holding a team competition.

I was also planning to participate and was really looking forward to it.
The truth is, I haven't really done much karting properly. I've only ridden an indoor go-kart a little bit for fun overseas in the past, and once I went to a go-karting competition with the Sunago Juku members, but it was raining incredibly hard that day, so even though I rode in it, I can't really say I "did some karting" (lol). It was really fun though ^^
So I was really excited because I would finally be able to properly enjoy go-karting...but unfortunately, I had an unavoidable appointment that came up at the last minute on the morning of the event, so I was unable to participate in the go-karting competition (so sad).
I had to leave home early in the morning because I couldn't predict the traffic situation on the Tomei Expressway and wasn't sure if I would make it on time.

But surprisingly, there was no traffic, so we arrived earlier than expected and were able to watch everyone racing in their team competition.
Everyone's so serious! It looks like so much fun!

First, each participant had their individual time measured, and based on those results, teams of two were formed to compete in a 20-minute endurance race.
The fastest individual driver that day was a female Porsche driver who is currently competing in KYOJO. She's truly impressive. Watching her drive with such ease was really cool.

So, as I was just there to watch the go-karting competition, I first enjoyed looking at all the Porsches that had gathered in the go-kart track's parking lot.

A line of pink Porsches
And here it is.
This is the reason why I suddenly changed my car for the day to a pink GT4 RS.
And here it is, this bright pink Boxster! ↓!!

Isn't that amazing?!
This is originally a white Boxster, but apparently it was "wrapped in pink," so once I found that out, I thought, "Wow, then I want to line up mine in pink too!" ^^
And so, my dream came true and I got to arrange pink items.

But somehow, the Boxster's pink is such a youthful, bright, and vibrant pink that it looks almost fluorescent when you see it up close.
In comparison, the Ruby Star Neo pink on the GT4 RS is... well... kind of plain (lol).
Well, I personally liked this understated pink and decided on the Ruby Star Neo, so this is fine, but when you put the two side by side like this it looks like a hot, young girl andA calm old ladyShe gives off a ladylike vibe, doesn't she?

And so, the go-kart competition came to a successful end.
Finally, the winner was determined by the team time, and an awards ceremony was held. It was amazing that they even had medals prepared.
The Porsche Girls' Club events are truly meticulously planned and well-organized.
I'm always so impressed and grateful for the wonderful preparations everyone makes. Thank you so much!

Then we all took a commemorative photo. Everyone was in high spirits from the morning.

The go-kart track at Fuji Speedway really feels like they've built a course in a huge parking lot area, so I think even first-timers could drive slowly and get used to it without feeling too much danger or fear.
It was truly the perfect place for Porsche-loving women to gather and have fun.

After the karting competition ends, we'll all head to our next destination, the Fuji Speedway Hotel.
It's such a wonderful sight to be able to look out at so many Porsches from inside my own Porsche and then drive behind them.

Lunch at Fuji Speedway Hotel
Next up is lunch at the Fuji Speedway Hotel.
First in 2023A joint girls' gathering held by Porsche-loving women in the Tokai and Kanto regions. The event took place at the Fuji Speedway Hotel, so it brought back fond memories, and I was very happy to be able to come here for lunch in a Porsche with everyone (and some new people too) even after several years.

Here too, we lined up a whole row of cars.

For lunch, we went to a restaurant inside the Fuji Speedway Hotel, which we also used for the Porsche Girls' Gathering in 2023.

"TROFEO ItalianThe restaurant is called "[Restaurant Name]". As the name suggests, it's Italian.

The lunch set menu that day included a salad, pasta, dessert, and a drink after the meal.
The salad had lots of fruit in it, and it was so cute and delicious, perfect for a girls' get-together!

And at this point, the "snack distribution," which has become something of a tradition at Porsche ladies' gatherings, also began.
Of course, it's not mandatory for everyone to bring souvenirs or sweets like this; it's simply a matter of individual sentiment.
*For those of you considering participating in the future, this is absolutely not required, so you can come empty-handed! I don't bring it every time either.
It's always fun to receive different regional sweets or thoughtfully designed gifts each time!
Also, the name tags you see in the upper right of the photo were made by one of the Porsche girls, who prepared individual name tags for everyone.

This time, I prepared car-shaped chocolates with a tag that says "PORSCHE GIRLS" inside.
When I was creating this, I wondered whether to use "Women," "Female," or "Ladies" for "Porsche Girls" (lol), but I decided to go with "Girls."
Yes, sorry. To be honest, this is a girls' get-together where the average age is already past the age where it's okay to call us "girls" (sorry! lol), but I just felt that this had to be a girls' get-together.
Because whenever I talk to men who love Porsches, when they talk about Porsches, when they look at Porsches, when they drive them, I really feel like they have a sparkle in their hearts, like little boys.
So, even the guys are always "Boys" in front of a Porsche. ...So, it's okay for us to be "Girls," right?! That's my rather forced excuse (lol).

After enjoying a pleasant lunch, we hurried back to the parking lot.
The Porsche Girls' Gathering continues after this. It's a very busy day with lots of things happening.

We moved again, this time within Fuji Speedway, and parked our car near the B paddock.
Just being able to park our cars here together makes me so happy.

Fuji Speedway Backyard Tour
The reason we've traveled this far is for the upcoming "Backstage Tour."
As the name suggests, this tour allows you to see the back areas, which are normally off-limits to the general public.
So, first we head to the control center at Fuji Speedway.

"Please come this way," the guide said, but ahead was a sign that read, "Entry beyond this point is restricted to authorized personnel only."
Hmm, I can't stop feeling excited, perhaps because of the feeling of superiority that comes from being able to get past this and go inside?

FSW Control Room Tour
I've had the opportunity to see the control room at Suzuka Circuit before (from the Viewers' Room), but this is my first time at Fuji Speedway.
For your reference, this is the control room at Suzuka Circuit ↓

Now, let's go inside the control room at Fuji Speedway!

Wow! This is the control room at FSW. So cool!!!

So, all the races and events are visually monitored, recorded, and managed here, right?
A guide accompanied us on this backstage tour, explaining things to us. He shared some interesting facts, such as how only one of the many screens is in 4K.

Can you see this screen in the upper left corner?
In the photo above, the course looks normal, right? But if you zoom in with your camera, you can actually see the tire tracks on the road surface!
This is surprising. But apparently, being able to get this close allows them to determine from this control room whether the trash on the circuit is tire debris or dangerous metal, etc.

Also... can you see the black bar-like shapes in some of the images below? ↓
This is what it looks like when the camera's wiper is activated ^^ The camera actually has a wiper, so the screen stays clear even in the rain.
I realized that a lot of thought goes into it, and that the race is protected even by air traffic control.

Even in the control room, the Porsche girls took commemorative photos.

Next, we were allowed to enter the room next to the control room.
This is the view from here.

A camera is mounted on the ceiling near the center of the large windowpane. It looks quite sophisticated, as you'd expect from SEIKO...oh, I said it without thinking...(lol).

But this really has to be exquisitely crafted.
Because the camera is pointed towards the finish line.
That's right, it's the camera used for camera review when, rarely, two (or more) cars finish almost simultaneously in a close battle for the lead, with times nearly identical.

In fact, there were photos displayed in the room from past instances where this camera-based judging had been used, and no matter which one you looked at, you'd definitely think, "Hmm, I can't tell who's number one!"

This sophisticated SEIKO camera captures things that are impossible to judge by the naked eye, no matter how hard you try.
Let's move on to the next room instead of continuing with these old-fashioned dad jokes.
FSW Podium Tour
The next place they took me to was none other than the "award recipients' waiting room."
That's right, this is the path to the podium, a place only those who have won any race held at FSW are allowed to enter!

Stepping out of the waiting room and into the outdoor area where the podium is located, you'll find yourself facing the back of this screen.
The LEDs were only installed in January of this year, so the back was in a pretty impressive state.

Looking at this from a table, it looks like this.
It was the podium where the top three finishers could stand, and the screen behind it.
Hmm? Can you see them? The letters displayed on the screen.

Ta-da!
Isn't this amazing?
The Porsche ladies were given the honor of standing on the podium at Fuji Speedway, and the screen displayed the words "Porsche Ladies' Party" along with the date—a truly delightful touch.
The Porsche-loving girls were squealing with excitement. Of course they would be thrilled if someone did something like this for them! Thank you!

If you glance down from the podium, you'll see the Porsche Gate.
I never dreamed that the day would come when I could look down on Porsche Gate from above.
And when I thought about how everyone must feel standing on this podium after winning such an intense race at FSW, I was so moved that I was almost overwhelmed with emotion... and I gazed out at the FSW straight. It must be so moving for them.

After this wonderful tour of the control center and podium, we moved on to our next location.

Next, we arrived at this place where Mount Fuji can be seen in all its beauty.
Now, where is this?

Photo taken at FSW West Gate
The correct answer was the West Gate of FSW. Next, we had a photo shoot of the cars there.
This Porsche Girls' Gathering was perfectly planned in every way. I'm truly grateful. And I'm also grateful to everyone at Fuji Speedway and Fuji Speedway Hotel for making this possible.
The traffic control was also handled by women driving Porsches.
"Turn a little more this way!" "A little more to the side!" With such perfect guidance, we ended up with a wonderful group photo.

A father and son in a Porsche happened to be there too, and upon seeing this scene, they stopped their car and took a look, so I struck up a conversation with them.

And this is the photo I managed to take. Isn't it just too perfect?!
It was fun getting excited and taking pictures like this, and it was a really enjoyable time no matter what we were doing or talking about.

And so, the 8th Tokai & Kanto Joint Porsche Girls' Gathering, which began this morning, has finally come to an end.
It was a day of go-karting in the morning, followed by lunch, a backyard tour, and a photo shoot. It was fun!
After saying goodbye to everyone, we all went our separate ways, some staying at the Fuji Speedway Hotel, others heading straight back to the Tokai or Kanto regions. But I, on my own, went through the west gate of FSW again and headed to the paddock.
So, what did I go there for? Well, actually, when I was on the podium and looked out at the straightaway, I saw some cool Lamborghinis driving down it.

Lamborghini Nagoya BullRUN to Fuji Speedway 2026
Furthermore, it even had the words "Lamborghini Nagoya Bull Run to FSW 2026" written on it.
When I saw this, I suddenly remembered, "When you think of Lamborghini and Nagoya..." and decided to contact someone I knew.

Then, in an incredible coincidence, she said, "Yes, I'm here!", so after the Porsche Girls' Gathering disbanded, I returned to this paddock and had a long-awaited reunion with the woman from Nagoya.
What an incredible coincidence! I'm so touched. It was so nice to meet you!

After that, we finally started our journey home, but I received a message from a fellow Porsche enthusiast saying that "Ashigara is incredibly congested (probably because of the outlet mall)," so we took the local roads for part of the way.
Even so, there was still traffic congestion around the usual Ebina-mae area, so I thought to myself, "I'm glad I have a PDK car," and I realized that switching from a manual GT3 to a PDK GT4 RS was the right decision. I drove home at a leisurely pace.
And when we got stuck in traffic, the various snacks that everyone had given us at lunchtime were a great way to pass the time.

Ah, so the snacks were meant to be something to snack on little by little during the traffic jam on the way home when you get tired or sleepy, or when you get a little hungry... I came to that interpretation on my own and enjoyed the snacks on the way home ^^
It was a fun and fulfilling day, with a long-awaited reunion with people from the Fuji Speedway Hotel, a reunion with the usual Porsche Girls group, meeting new Porsche Girls, and an unexpected encounter with a Lamborghini enthusiast from Nagoya... everything about it was enjoyable.
And every time we hang out like this, I feel even more affectionate for and cherish my own Porsche. This Porsche Girls' Gathering is a place where you can really feel everyone's love for their Porsches.
I hope many more girls will continue to enjoy this in the future!
Thank you to everyone who joined us.
