I went to Fuji Speedway to support my fellow Porsche girl who is competing in KYOJO VITA.

KYOJO VITA Round 1 (KYOJO CUP Round 1)

To all the Porsche Girls (women who drive Porsches) whose group has been growing rapidly lately.

Among them is a woman I met around the time I first started driving a Porsche.

I first met her back when I had just started driving a Porsche and hadn't even considered driving on a racetrack.Sunako JukuI think it was when I went to visit the place.

I met a woman who was doing track driving at that time. Before driving, she would quickly check the tire pressure and deflate the tires, all very efficiently.

I still remember being so impressed when I saw them like that, thinking, "Wow, that's so cool! Amazing!"

That person is the one who will be playing this seasonSALLY is competing in KYOJO VITA with the car number #73.』↓

This time, I was invited by other Porsche enthusiasts to go and support Sally, so I'd like to share my experience.

Since I had appointments with my children in the morning and evening, I arrived later than everyone else, but I joined them (and their cars) in the Fuji Speedway parking lot.

Since the sixth round of the Carrera Cup Asia was also being held that day, I went to watch the Carrera Cup immediately after arriving at Fuji Speedway, but I'll write about that separately.

After watching the Carrera Cup Asia, I met up with the Porsche Girls and we started by exploring the venue.

There will also be various events in the paddock on the days of the KYOJO CUP.

I had assumed that the day would simply consist of racing, but in reality, various events were being held in the paddock area, creating a lively and fun atmosphere with many families in attendance.

The races held at Fuji Speedway on this day were:

  • KYOJO CUP
  • KYOJO VITA
  • Interproto
  • Carrera Cup Asia

There was so much going on, so I think a lot of people gathered there for each of the races.

That said, I got the impression that the majority of people who came that day were there primarily to watch KYOJO.

There were various cars on display in the paddock...

There are hands-on activity corners for kids,

There's even a corner where you can try operating an excavator.

Learn about the importance of seat belts through experience: Rollover Simulator

Furthermore, they had something called a "rollover simulator," which I also had the opportunity to try out.

You know, while we were waiting in line to try it out, some of the kids in front of us would drop out saying, "Actually, I don't want to ride it after all."

Because of this.

As the name "rollover simulator" suggests, once you get into the car, it actually spins around 360 degrees. It rolls over.

Speaking of rides that rotate 360 degrees, roller coasters and the like sometimes loop around, but because of the speed, there's a strange sense of security that "even when you're upside down, there's centrifugal force so you won't fall," and the upside-down state is only for a moment, so it's over before you know it while you're having fun screaming.

But this is like, how do I put it, the car overturns at such a slow speed, it's like they're roasting a piglet whole. And there are people inside.

In such a vehicle, the only thing supporting your body is a standard passenger car seat belt (three-point type).

Wow, that was fun. The car really did roll over very slowly.

As I watched the scenery before me slowly turn upside down, I had the feeling that this must be like experiencing the moment of an accident (a car overturning) in slow motion.

But simply by wearing a seatbelt, even if the car rotates so slowly, your body remains securely in the seat, you won't fall out even if the car is upside down, and your body won't be thrown out the window.

This experience allowed me to truly understand how much a seatbelt protects you.

I always wear my seatbelt properly, of course, but this was a wonderful experience that made me appreciate and wear my seatbelt even more from that day forward.

There were also races with pedal cars for kids, which I thought was heartwarming...but then I noticed that the drivers from the Kyojo Cup were racing, which was adorable (lol).

KYOJO CUP and KYOJO VITA

Now, as lunchtime approaches, the introductions and talk show of the drivers participating in KYOJO will begin.

I thought the only vehicle under the KYOJO brand was the VITA, but it seems that the KYOJO CUP has been a formula car race since 2025. I didn't know that... (sorry).

Wow, I can't believe they're running in such an amazing vehicle!

First, there was an introduction and talk show featuring the KYOJO CUP racers who would be competing in these amazing vehicles.

Next, we will introduce the players of KYOJO VITA.

The car that KYOJO VITA is using is this VITA (VITA-01).

And now, our fellow Porsche enthusiast, Sally, makes her appearance. We just have to cheer her on!

So, guess what?!

One of the Porsche-loving women I met that day had actually made "oshi-uchiwa" (fans of their favorite Porsche) for all four of us who were there! That's amazing!!

These are some fans with "SALLY" written on them (lol). Aren't they just too cute?

While shaking these, we cheer, "Sally, do your best!"

Perhaps thanks to the fan effect, Sally noticed us from the stage, which was great. It was a fun time enjoying our fan activities together!

After that, I spent time hanging out in the pit area.

Even though I'm not driving it or participating in the race, the thought of this car going to be used in a race makes me a little nervous as the race start time approaches (lol).

I really admire the people who actually participate in races.

Oh yes, there was also a pit walk before the race (final).

Of course, we were all rooting for Sally, but a huge number of people gathered at the pit walk to see all the different drivers.

Everyone had a great time, getting autographs from various players on the pamphlets distributed that day and on the merchandise they brought, and taking pictures with them.

Incidentally, all the drivers participating in the race held that day were present here, so it wasn't just female drivers, but also male drivers participating in the Interproto race.

After the pit walk, it's finally time for the grid walk, followed by the KYOJO VITA Round 1 final.

As Sally's VITA finally lined up on the grid, the Porsche-loving Sally fans cheered excitedly, their spirits lifted.

This is Sally's #73 VITA, but has anyone noticed anything? ↓

This VITA has Porsche-style headlights!

I was incredibly ignorant about this, but apparently the Vita doesn't have headlights (so you can't drive it at night).

Therefore, it seems that some people paint over the area where the headlights normally are, while others, like Sally, apply decals to represent the headlights.

Sally, a Porsche enthusiast, has even fitted her VITA with Porsche headlights, which is truly amazing.

As expected, my favorite idol does things on a different level ^^

The final match is about to begin, so we're moving to another location to watch and cheer.

Because I was participating in the grid walk, I didn't have much time to move around the FSW (Fuji Speedway) before the race started, so this time I watched the race from a spot where I could just barely see the first corner from the straight.

It's hard to explain, but there's a huge difference in how I feel when I'm watching a race with professional racers compared to watching a race in which an acquaintance (who isn't a professional) is participating.

Even if someone tells me, "Why don't you give it a try?", I obviously can't run, but even so, when I watch the professionals, I tend to relate to them more, or rather, even though I don't need to think about it, I end up thinking, "Wow, there's no way I can do that!" and I get strangely nervous all by myself.

I really enjoyed watching the game that day, and it was very inspiring for me in many ways.

It was wonderful to see the team supporting each other, and even though it must have been a tense race, there was such a warm atmosphere in the pit area, which was really great ^^

The next KYOJO CUP will be held at Fuji Speedway on July 18th (Sat) and 19th (Sun). And KYOJO VITA will be on September 6th (Sun).

I'd love to go and support them again if I get the chance ^^

This time, I went to support my fellow Porsche enthusiast, Sally, but I felt like I received a lot of positive energy from the other drivers as well, which gave me a boost of energy and made me feel even more optimistic.

Sally, I'll continue to support you. Keep up the great work!

And thank you to all the Porsche ladies who joined us that day! ^^
