The American PTX is entering its 26th year.

It has been announced that the Porsche Track Experience (PTX) has officially opened at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California, USA.

PTX is Porsche's official driving lesson program (driver development program), and it has been held internationally for 52 years. This year marks the 26th year of PTX in the United States.

In its 26th year, a new PTX program was launched in the United States.

That's the PTX at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, which apparently started on March 12, 2026.

For those who regularly race at Laguna Seca, this program offers a practical training experience on the actual course, as the CEO of Porsche North America has stated, "There is no better way to master the Corkscrew."

Incidentally, they offer not only courses for advanced drivers, but also beginner courses that teach the basics of vehicle operation. So, if you're traveling near Laguna Seca, you can enjoy PTX and suddenly find yourself driving a Porsche on the Laguna Seca course.

Laguna Seca has strong ties to Porsche; since its opening in 1975, it has hosted the large-scale Porsche Rennsport Reunion event four times, and Porsche has also achieved 14 overall victories at this venue.

Incidentally, the most beginner-level course offered, Precision, costs $3,500 (as of March 2026).

The Masters RS, which currently seems to be the most advanced course, is a three-day program and costs a hefty $14,000.

Also, on a personal note, the PTX courses in Japan have become quite expensive lately, and I'm finding myself hesitating to participate (lol). (Because if I were to participate, I'd want to take the master class, which costs 370,000 yen... and if you add the pre- and post-course inspection fees, it comes to about 400,000 yen for one course! Ugh.)

Hello!

The old man refused to refuel, insisting that gasoline prices would definitely drop on the 19th, even though he had already spent 370,000 yen on PTX, so all three cars were almost out of gas. As expected, the price dropped, and he found out that I had saved several thousand yen and eaten eel by myself, so the next day I was the only one without teriyaki black cod on the table... (lol).
This is how elderly people become isolated, I suppose.

RIKA, please recreate "The Pass" with a corkscrew.

  Last night, my family unexpectedly came across a gas station with incredibly cheap gas (and it was practically empty!), so my husband and I ended up taking a night drive and filling up several cars (lol). We only saved a few thousand yen, but it was fun!
  
  And in a terrifying place like that (the corkscrew), I don't think I'd be able to overtake anyone, or even drive at the speed limit on the Metropolitan Expressway (lol)!
  
  As for the silver cod... instead, perhaps Melo was there in front of the 60-year-old gentleman who loves go-karts... ^^?

Oh, they're also holding events at Fuji and Suzuka!
When I went to check the website, I found out it's quite expensive (sweat). Reality is harsh (lol).

  That's right, they're quite expensive (laughs).
  
  Furthermore, a pre-inspection at a dealership is required before participation (for a fee), and I believe that all parts related to driving the Porsche had to be genuine parts in order to participate. The tires had to be N-tires, of course!
