PTE: Porsche Truck Experience [Precision] Circuit driving

Posted: June 15, 2019 Updated:

Run the Fuji Speedway main course with Porsche 911

The Porsche Truck Experience Precision Program held at Fuji Speedway on June 11, 2019.

At the end of the various trainings that take place in some of Fuji Speedway's parking spaces is "Fuji Speedway's main course circuit-led driving."

In the past, I've been riding the FSW main course several times in the passenger seat, but I've never driven myself.

What's more, it's not a parade run, but a leading run, but for the time being, you can run on the circuit normally.

Yes, I have never run on my own, not only at FSW, but at the "circuit" itself.

This time, thanks to this PTE program, I was able to experience the first circuit driving by my own driving. Life, the first circuit driving in my life

"Porsche 911, Fuji Speedway main course"

Because it's a really luxurious environment, I'm grateful to all the different people, different situations, and different things. I'm really too happy (tears). I don't know who to tell what, but thank you for everything ^^

Leading driving is on the safety line

That's why I took the lead in the form of keeping up with the instructor leading the run.

This time, the instructor who will take the lead will run the "safety line", which is not a serious running line (racing line) that is attacked in the actual race, but a safe and easy-to-understand running line.

Before departure, we will be behind each leading car, prepare and wait in the car. By the way, this time's lead driving is a system in which one instructor's leading car is followed by five cars.

By changing the order of following the leading car (while running) on the home straight, the following 5 cars, all of them, were able to experience running right behind the instructor.

Just before my first circuit run, I was thrilled and suddenly looked up, and there was another scene I loved! !!

That's right, is it the final meeting where the instructors get together before driving on the circuit? Hmmm. It's cool! !! ... Well, I was staring at the gathering of instructors as "cool!", So it seems that there was no strange negative or negative tension before driving on the circuit. (smile).

Click here for the leading car on the circuit ↓. Well, I'm excited! !!

Even so, when I wear a helmet, I can't see directly underneath, so I don't see anything, but at first I was a little worried that I couldn't see the part that was normally in my field of vision. No, I don't have to look at my tummy while driving, so it doesn't really matter at all, so it's okay (laughs). I'm just not used to it.

Finally to the Fuji Speedway main course

It's finally the start. The letters "PORSCHE" are waiting for you. The day will come when I will drive through here by myself.

Wow! !! I got in! !! Finally, I got in! !! I'm already excited, I'm up ^^

Already, another strange person MAX in the car, such as "You've come! It's finally! FSW, Here we go, baby!" On 911. While talking to 911, he said, "It's hard to talk when you're wearing a helmet!" Ah, a completely strange person (laughs).

I wonder what it really is, it's full of excitement that I can't help but look forward to.

Oh, there was also "# Minamino Cayman" designed by soccer player Takumi Minamino, which was decorated in the A paddock! ↓

Thankfully, my first run was in a position where I could run right behind the lead car, so I was able to suddenly see the instructor's run in front of me and start running.

Finally, finally, finally. I'm going out to the circuit. I will start running ~! !!

However, what I don't really remember the most is this first run (laughs). Maybe first of all, I have to tell the instructor's line and braking properly to the following people! I'm concentrating on what I think, just like before, doing the same thing, making it possible to run so as not to bother everyone, etc. I couldn't afford it ~ (laughs).

Even so, after changing the order several times and running many runs, the initial tension disappeared and I realized that "I will run on this line here" and "I will step on the brakes here", so I can afford more. You can now "enjoy running" with.

When that happens, it's really ... !! !! !! !! 』! !! !!

It was really awesome. No, I think it was a heroic run that people who usually run on the circuit would think, "Did you enjoy that way?" (Laughs) For me, I was able to enjoy driving that I couldn't drive on public roads and could only be experienced on the circuit.

I know that I don't understand at all, but since I was such an amateur, let me write it as I wish.

FSW 1st Corner-Coca-Cola Corner may be your favorite

Anyway, what I found most fun was the first corner from this straight, the rise from the TGR corner ↓

From the point where I was accelerating to the maximum on the home straight, I got a full brake at a stretch, and to my surprise, I'm sure that "the first corner will turn while stepping on the brake", but that is completely different. , Decelerate with full brake at once from straight acceleration, brake off before entering the corner. I see! !! !! (* It may be because you are driving on the safety line)

Certainly, otherwise you cannot run with the accelerator fully open from what is called a clipping point. That's right. ... I'm impressed and run (laughs).

So, braking from this straight, braking off before entering the corner, starting acceleration from the middle of the corner, from the point where I thought "I can go!", While listening to the really moving engine sound, With the accelerator fully open and accelerating 100km + at a stretch, we will stand up for the next corner ...

I've come to love this series of events. This was really fun. What is this fun! !! !!

Already, I passed through from the 1st corner to the 2nd corner with full throttle (unfortunately there was a car in front, so sometimes I could not fully open it ...), and also the 3rd corner (Coca-Cola corner) Slow down and turn.

Ah ~. The circuit is fun! !! !!

No, I've already taken the lead, so I thought it would be fun for me because I just had to keep up with it, but I was really surprised that it was so much fun. When I was in the passenger seat, I wasn't impressed.

Porsche 911 Carrera's first engine sound and blipping sound

It's different to be in the passenger seat on the circuit and to drive! It's completely different.

And Porsche 911 Carrera wasn't the Carrera I always know. I thought, "Wow, it's cool! It's too cool!" (← It's my car (laughs)), but I was already impressed with "This is amazing, Carrera-san !!!". It was a sound I had never heard before.

Of course, the sound when accelerating was the best, but what impressed me even more was the tremendous blipping sound when I fully braked from high speed toward the corner. I've never heard of this from 911! !! !! It was the very best blipping sound of my 911 that I heard for the first time.

I wanted to hear this sound, and I was already fascinated by applying full braking from high speed before the corner ^ ^

It's really too good. Acceleration → While listening to the blipping sound with the brakes, then stand up while listening to the engine sound with the accelerator fully open. !! 』Repeat. That is the circuit! !! !! (Isn't it (laughs)?).

Ah, I'm not dead anymore. Just remembering it makes me excited. I have already realized the awesomeness of Porsche 911. I felt the awesomeness of Porsche 911 so much that I could not express it with the word "real feeling". too cool. Too nice.

Even though it's my car, I really like it too much. It was such a nice car. I knew it, but I didn't. It's love already. Love. Ah, I like it so much that it's painful. Also, I want to hear that wonderful sound.

This is where you turn the Advan Corner and accelerate. ↓ Run the Advan Corner, which you usually see from the outside lawn, while thinking about your own driving line, and start up from the corner again. I can't really think of myself running a little while ago ^^

Before entering the Dunlop corner, I was able to get to this Dunlop signboard with considerable acceleration, and it was fun to fully brake around the signboard ~ ↓

Previously, both Mr. Sunako and this Porsche instructor will be able to run properly on the circuit for the first time by being able to properly perform each of the trainings that were done at PTE this time. You said something like.

When I was listening to it, I vaguely said, "Well, it would be better to solidify the basics one by one." I was (I'm sorry ... I didn't really understand it).

But this time, I tried to drive on the circuit for the first time, and while running, I realized myself ^ ^

"Oh !! I understand !! Why is the practice so far useful for circuit driving !!".

That is right. This time, braking at this Dunlop corner and at the first corner is completely impossible with braking like stepping on a public road, so on this day, the first (the purpose is to handle even if ABS is effective) Although it was to experience that you can avoid danger by bending), in the practice of braking, I was allowed to experience full braking as much as possible. If I could understand that it would give me, I wouldn't hesitate to brake fully, and I could step on it firmly, which is interesting.

And is it a Dunlop corner or a GR Supra corner? Then, I understood that it is important to use it by understanding that "by turning off the accelerator, the front load is applied and it bends efficiently". "Ah, this is it !!"

When turning, instead of turning with the brakes, I turn the corner efficiently by releasing the accelerator ... No, I could not do that, but "Sure, it turns efficiently using the front load. I thought that if I could understand more about the feeling and be able to drive like that, driving on the circuit would change the driving at all.

And of course, running thinking about where to bring the clipping point is completely different from running without thinking, and just because you think about it does not mean that you can practice it immediately, so practice that kind of thing. It will lead to the results of.

I think what I'm still interested in is the understanding of the bottom of the bottom ^^ But, I was still impressed.

very. There is no waste in each training. No, that's right (laughs), but it was a circuit run that really made me realize that.

Ah, I was impressed and excited when I remembered various things while writing (laughs). I'm sorry that only one person is hot ... It would be great if you could see it as "he" as "the impression of a woman who ran on the circuit with Porsche 911 for the first time in her life" ^ ^

And now, even those who are already on the circuit and professionals should have had "the day when they ran the circuit for the first time" at the very beginning. I think everyone is impressed at that time.

This time, I might be embarrassed to say, "What a low-level thing I was writing," but I wanted to keep the impression I had when I ran for the first time, so I thought. I wrote it as it is ^ ^

I can't think of a day when I'll be running alone on the circuit, but one day, I'd be happy if I could lead the race at a slightly faster speed than this time.

Until that day comes, I would like to participate in the drive lesson if I have a chance, and enjoy the aspect of "Carrera that can be used everyday" safely when driving on ordinary roads.

It was the best Fuji Speedway circuit driving that I could know the wonderfulness of Porsche 911 from the bottom of my heart! !! !!

I'm really happy to meet Porsche 911.
