During testing, the Cayenne EV's acceleration performance was as follows: it reached approximately 160 km/h in 4.5 seconds and approximately 240 km/h in 10.1 seconds.
It also covered approximately 402 meters (1/4 mile) in 9.5 seconds, reaching a speed of about 235 km/h.
High-performance EVs are heavier due to the large-capacity batteries, which raises concerns about their impact on braking performance. However, even with a vehicle weight of approximately 2,703 kg, the Cayenne Turbo EV can still achieve a braking distance of approximately 42.7 m from a speed of about 113 km/h.
This means it's approximately 3.05m shorter and 3.66m shorter than the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT and the Lamborghini Urs Superformante, respectively.
Incidentally, this tested Cayenne Turbo EV was equipped with optional carbon ceramic brakes (PCCB).
Furthermore, in a turning performance test where the vehicle continuously traveled at high speed within a fixed circle, it recorded a G of 1.05G.
It achieved the best cornering performance ever for an SUV (in tests conducted by Car and Driver magazine), beating the previous record held by the Lamborghini Urs Superformante (1.04G).

While this is a comparison based on US prices, the Cayenne Turbo EV used in this test was priced at $194,600 (approximately 31.14 million yen). Considering that the Lamborghini Urus costs over $240,000 (approximately 38.4 million yen), it was said that this might be a good deal for those considering switching from a high-performance SUV with an internal combustion engine to an EV.
Incidentally, the starting price for the Cayenne Turbo EV in Japan is 21.01 million yen. Although the equipment and options differ from the test vehicle, it sounds like an incredibly good deal.
