Lamborghini: Lamborghini ◆ Our Urakan EVO

I only just noticed the ambient lighting in the Lamborghini Huracán EVO.

To Nihonbashi at night

My phone's wallpaper is a photo of a Porsche 911 (991.2) Carrera that I took in the Nihonbashi area many years ago.

I occasionally post about this on this blog, so some of you may have seen it before.

Here is the photo.

And just the other day, I happened to go to the same place at night, just like when this photo was taken.

My husband drove me that day in a Lamborghini Huracán EVO.

Since I happened to be parking briefly in a similar spot at a similar time of night, I took a picture using the same angle as the black Carrera that's my phone's wallpaper.

Looking back at the photos I took at the time, I noticed quite a few differences, probably because several years had passed. Even though I took the photos in almost the same location as the black Carrera, the planted area in the middle of the road was gone, and the building in the background had been demolished.

I've always seen the Nihonbashi area as a whole, and I've noticed that things are changing little by little, but I realized that time is passing by, and that many things are changing without me even realizing it, in places I'm unaware of.

And then, on the way home at that time...

It's been quite a long time since the Huracán EVO came to my home.I myself have driven a little bit. That's why.

But there was something I realized on that day that I've only just now noticed.

That's ambient lighting.

The Huracán EVO has three driving modes, which are as follows:

  • STRADA
  • SPORT
  • CORSA

I already knew this, of course, but it was only that day that I realized that changing these modes also changes the ambient lighting inside the car. A bit late, I know (lol).

No, no, I had noticed that the screen displayed in front of the driver's seat changes, and I knew that when it becomes Corsa it turns red and "it gives off a feeling of being in full motivation mode!"

But I only realized that day that all the other lights in the car were actually changing in conjunction with it (I'm so oblivious... (lol)).

This is from when it was Strada.

In the Strada, the color scheme is a calming blue, so the lights in the footwells and doors are also blue. This time, I've included a photo of the door lights below.

And when you switch to Sport mode, the screen in front of the driver's seat seems to become a bit more yellow.

And at that moment, the ambient lighting inside the car had actually changed to yellow! I don't know why I hadn't noticed it before (lol).

Furthermore, when you switch to Corsa driving mode, the screen looks completely different, to the point where you might wonder, "Is this even a game?" The color scheme changes abruptly from the calm blue to a reddish hue, putting you in a "Let's do this!" mood.

At that moment, the ambient lighting inside the car had actually turned red!

Huh? How could I not have noticed that until now?

Well, I guess so (laughs). But I really hadn't noticed it at all until now.

I'm not sure how many years it's been since I found out, but I was really impressed to learn that the interior lighting actually changes depending on the driving mode, which really enhances the mood!

The Huracán EVO is truly a fantastic car; it sounds great, and I have absolutely no complaints about its performance.

I've thought about whether it's time to upgrade to a newer model.

But after thinking about it a lot, I've concluded that this Huracán EVO is simply the best for my family, and I can't even consider replacing it.

It was a night when I felt truly fortunate to have encountered such a Lamborghini.
