Car shooting in Chiba Fornia: Try shooting at sunrise time

Posted: September 19, 2018 Updated:

Around the end of summer. From morning to before sunrise, I'm going out with my husband in Ferrari while it's still a little dim.

The sunrise time has not yet arrived, but by the time we arrived at the Aqua-Line from Tokyo, the sky had become slightly brighter.

And from early morning, I heard a roaring sound in the tunnel (laughs). It's a pleasant sound to wake up!

Where are we aiming for in the early morning before sunrise?

If you say "take a car" through the aqua line from Tokyo, you may have noticed it (... rather, in the blog title ... (laughs)).

How to get to Chiba Fornia

so. Click here for the destinations I ran on Ferrari from the morning! A certain seaside in Sodegaura, Chiba Prefecture, known as "Chiba Fornia", is known as a very famous car photography spot.

By the way, the location (address) of Chiba Fornia isClick here to launch Google MapPlease refer to it. This is the area on the map.

It is around here when it is up. The address is "Minamisode, Sodegaura City, Chiba Prefecture 299-0268". At this address, only a rough location is displayed, so please refer to this map for the rest.

That's why it's arrived ~.

Taken at sunrise in Chiba Fornia

The last time I shot a car here, I was on a BMW 650iSo, this time I went to shoot at Ferrari. In Chiba Fornia, California T (laughs).

I arrived in Chiba Fornia at 5 am. The sunrise time in Sodegaura at this time was about 4:50, so it was about 10 minutes after the sun started to rise.

Before actually visiting Chiba Fornia, I checked the direction of Chiba Fornia in Sodegaura and knew that the sun would not rise from the sea side along Chiba Fornia.

Then, why did you bother to adjust to the time of sunrise?

Due to other schedules on this day, I had only one time to go to Chiba Fornia in the morning, and if I went to Asaichi in the morning, I went to the time of sunrise (actually the sun comes out). Because I wanted to see what kind of shooting can be done during the sunrise time (although it is on the opposite side of the sea).

Some may think, "I want to have the first sunrise in Chiba Fornia with my car" (it's persistent, but be aware that the sun rises from the other side, not the sea side!).

I hope you can find out what Chiba Fornia looks like at sunrise.

That's why I tried to shoot Ferrari in Chiba Fornia against the background of the sun climbing from the other side of the sea.

The sun gradually rose from the opposite side of Chiba Fornia (sea side).

In conclusion, when shooting a car in Chiba Fornia ... "There is no need to set the sunrise time at all" (laughs).

After all, the area is quite dim until the time when the sun rises to a height that is completely visible to our eyes.

The brightness of the area is fairly bright, but when I actually take a picture of the car through the camera, it looks quite dark.

After all, I was able to take overwhelmingly better pictures after the sun had risen considerably above and the entire sky had become brighter.

What is the best time to shoot a car in Chiba Fornia?

↓ Since it can be taken quite dark, I will try to make it brighter by correction later, but the more I try to make it beautiful, the more the contrast will increase, and it will be up to this point. It's not good.

This photo ↑ is here ↓ before correction. It's pretty dark, isn't it? ??

If you want to shoot a vehicle that clearly shows the car and maximizes the "California atmosphere", it is best to go to the shooting during the daytime when the sun is the brightest. I think it's the best.

Or conversely, during the sunset time, the sun sets in the direction of the sea, so you may be able to take more dramatic pictures. The next time I come, I'd like to come at sunset time (laughs).

So, after all, after the area became much brighter, I enjoyed taking pictures.

It's a wasteful story to get up early in the morning to match the time of sunrise, take a picture in the dim light, but because it's dark, apply brightness correction to the picture later. I think.

After all, I think it's best to go to Chiba Fornia in a sunny and bright time, where you can take bright pictures of cars from the beginning without having to correct the pictures later.

The only advantage of going to Chiba Fornia and taking pictures at sunrise is ...

It means that there are really no people around me who are shooting in the same way, and that there are few cars on the road around here.

Almost reserved for Chiba Fornia. This is a luxury.

So you can shoot your car from various angles as you like, without worrying about the eyes around you (laughs). * However, shooting from the road is dangerous!

Well, I can take pictures of my favorite cars with a wonderful landscape in the background, and the sea is just in front of me, so it's a very pleasant place, so no matter what time it is. As long as it's sunny, Chiba Fornia is the best place to go for a drive from Tokyo!
