Each Porsche transmission car has an animal sticker on it.
I was looking at the recently announced new Porsche suitcase collection, the Porsche Design Aluminum Trolley Collection, and I discovered that this new piece of luggage also comes with an "original animal sticker set."

I wondered if it was an original animal sticker set, and when I looked at the photos, I found a suitcase with various stickers stuck on it, like this.
I see, it's true that many people put various stickers on their suitcases, so it makes sense that these are little bonus items that can give your suitcase a Porsche-like feel.
But here's one question.

In the photo above, there are lots of stickers from the AHEAD collection on it, which makes it look very Porsche-like and great! But wait a minute?
If you look at the product description on the sales website, you'll see that it doesn't include any AHEAD stickers, and only includes the animal stickers.

No, no, no, even if they just put animal stickers that don't seem to have much to do with Porsche, I'm not a child so there's no way I'd put just animal stickers on a luxury Porsche suitcase.
...Did you think so?
You probably thought so!! (Sorry if you didn't (lol)).
I think that if you know this, you must be a big Porsche fan, but these animals are actually very playful for Porsche, but they are also animal stickers that have a deep connection to the Porsche mission cars that have been released in the past.
For more details, please see issue 408 of the official Porsche magazine, Christophorus, where Michael Mauer, who was the head of design at the time, talks about it:Christophorus No. 408
Animals in Porsche's concept car (mission car)
That's right, Porsche's designers apparently love stickers (lol), and it's a tradition that every time they create a mission car (concept car), they design an animal sticker and stick it on the car.
Now let's take a look at which Mission Car animal stickers each of the four animals that come with this suitcase are from.
Mission R is a wild boar
First of all, the boarmission RTo.

This had to be removed before the car could be exhibited, so it was replaced on Mauer's company car (lol), but the color is exactly like the Mission R.

Mission X is a cheetah
Andmission xThere's a cheetah.

In fact, if you look at the photos from the announcement, you can see that the sticker is clearly attached.

The Porsche Vision 357 is a dinosaur
It's cute to see them all running (lol), but Porschevision 357There is a dinosaur sticker on it.

If you look closely, you'll see that there's a sticker on it too!

Porsche Vision 357 Speedster is a Pegasus (Unicorn)
And finally, there is Pegasus (the unicorn). There isn't much official information about this animal, so many people may not know about it, but I only recognized it when I happened to see the actual car in front of me when I went to a Porsche event in the US some time ago.

This Pegasus isPorsche Vision 357 SpeedsterIt was attached to.

Well, Porsche has suddenly announced that this animal sticker, which is not widely advertised (?) and is more of an inside joke, will come with an "Exclusive sticker set for the Porsche Mission Cars" as a bonus.
I really love this kind of thing (laughs).
So, if you buy this suitcase, please stick an animal sticker on it because "it's a Mission Car animal!"
