Porsche: Porsche ◆ My beloved black carrera (991.2)

I didn't run enough and went to Sunako Juku again: Mitsuhiro Kinoshita's Porsche course

I want to run more and more with Porsche 911

for the first time in a while in the middle of last monthDriving lesson Sunako JukuI was able to participate in , but on the way home from that time, the feeling of "I want to run more" was already too strong, so as soon as I got home, I started searching for programs and schedules that I could participate in next. ^^

After all, unlike running on public roads, it is the best to be able to enjoy Porsche as much as possible in open space training. Addictive.

When I looked it up, there was a driving lesson program for "rear-engine vehicles only", so two weeks after I participated in Sunako Juku last time, I participated again.

The meeting time for this day was 8:15am at Fuji Speedway, but for some reason I decided to go much earlier in the morning.

Is the departure time from home on this day in the morning? It's 3:40... it's too early, isn't it?

The day before, I counted backwards and ended the drinking time early (this was the hardest part (laughs)).

When I go to FSW in the morning, there is a rule that I eat Mack for breakfast in the morning.

It may be a matter of course, but before 5:00 in the morning, it's not a morning Mac, but a regular menu.

So, before 4:00 a.m., I started eating normal fries and Samurai McDonald's. What is this?

Mac at 4:00 in the morning was quite tough (I was just eating on my own (laughs)).

By the way, it was past 5:00 in the morning when I arrived at FSW, feeling like my stomach was going to be heavy. early ~. As expected, this is the first time.

There is no one in the paddock area (I entered with proper permission).

I was dizzy at FSW from early morning, but it was finally time for Sunako Juku, so I moved to P2 of FSW from around 8 o'clock.

As ever wide P2↓

This day was limited to rear-engine (and mid-ship) vehicles, so I thought that most of the participating vehicles would be Porsches, but it turned out that they were all Porsches! !

Oh, there is only one BMW-like one mixed in, but don't worry about that (laughs). *There was also a BMW Z3 as a rental car from Sunako Juku.

The instructors for the day were Mr. Kochiya, the head of Sunako Juku's administrative office, and Mr. Mitsuhiro Kinoshita.

At the beginning of the lecture, Mr. Mitsuhiro Kinoshita taught me various things specialized in Porsche.

I learned a lot from this! !

In particular, the story about braking was exactly what I wanted to hear, and I am truly grateful to Mitsuhiro-san for talking so passionately about it that day.

What it means to do the full brake of Porsche

This is because, when I was practicing cornering at Sunako Juku last time, I had the ABS working at full braking from full acceleration.

However, I was told by Principal Sunako that "ABS should not work".

On that day when I was told, "You can't use the ABS, even though it's full brakes," there was something I was thinking about even after I got home... That's Masami Kageyama's braking.

Previously, Mr. Kageyama had a Porsche driving lesson (PTX) and had Mr. Kageyama drive a 911 at full throttle in Sodegaura. I am in the passenger seat.

I still vividly remember the experience at that time, but anyway, the image of the circuit driving at that time was "continuous full acceleration and full braking", and at that time I really thought, "Are you going to brake so hard!" Surprisingly, I was impressed by the difference in running of the professional racers.

At that time, I could only understand "full throttle and full brake", and since my ability was too weak, I understood that Mr. Kageyama's full brake was, as he said, "full brake". It is.

I don't know what you're talking about (laughs), but anyway, when you actually drive and apply the full brake, the ABS works, so this is not the full brake that Mr. Kageyama was doing.

Even though I was braking with a strong pedaling force that was completely incomparable to me, when I thought about it, ABS didn't work even once.

I'm really sorry to talk about professional driving with my limited knowledge, but when an amateur hears "full brake", I think that it's okay to just step on it as hard as you can. (maybe only in my case).

At the last Sunako Cram School, I was annoyed at how the ABS didn't work even though the brakes were on full brakes.

It was Mitsuhiro's lecture this time that got rid of that frustration.

I was just convinced about everything, and I was deeply moved by the story of cornering, etc. that made use of Porsche's characteristics from the correct full brake ^ ^

Putting aside the question of whether or not I can put into practice what I have been taught, I think that I will not be able to reach that point unless I can understand in my head, "So that's what it is!" It's just

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Or rather, I'm impressed.

In the morning, we were divided into a practice team for running on ovals and stationary circles, and a practice team for braking, which Mitsuhiro-san taught us in class.

Both were fun.

From full-throttle acceleration in a straight line to full braking toward a corner, the practice of cornering with front load while adjusting the braking force from the beginning was an experience that I could convince myself of "Ah! This is it!" I couldn't do it (that is, I'm not good at it (laughs)), but I was told that "If I can do it even once, I'll definitely be able to do it", so I'd like to do my best in the future ^^

When it's really done properly, it's funny, it naturally bends beautifully with a feeling of "huh", Porsche 911. I will never forget this feeling. It's frustrating not to be able to reproduce it every time.

Lunch after the morning session.

Today's lunch was like this. somehow cute ^^

After lunch, it's afternoon class.

In the afternoon, a course will be created using a lot of P2.

At first, I was given a familiarization run, but even so, when I said, "Let's start!" is the correct answer?"

Even though I was fully open to the point where I could understand it, when I entered a point I didn't understand on the way, I was sloppy driving. Please join me and tell me.

I was saved~^^

If you didn't tell me here, I would have been driving hard all the time (I couldn't ask the instructors because they were in other cars). Thank you very much for teaching me.

After I understand the course, all I have to do is learn, so I will run earnestly so that I can put into practice what I have been taught.

Ahh, really fun.

Driving this Porsche that can not be tasted on public roads. It's really addictive. I want to keep running

Furthermore, in the afternoon session of this day, a large course was set up on P2, but even so, a steady circle was prepared in the extra space.

In the afternoon session, two teams were supposed to run every 30 minutes, so if the team in the break time wanted to do it, they could do the steady circle.

Thank you for this! ! This is the stationary circle that you have prepared for me.

Practicing in a steady circle means that my goal is to drift from the accelerator off with a Porsche 911.

I was able to practice on this day as well, and I was able to do it from the accelerator off to the rear slide. And at the end, I wonder if I was able to do about 1/4 of the last minute yen? That's what it feels like.

Still, I was happy

Just being able to do it this far is a moving thing for me.

It was a really fun and enjoyable time, with regular circles and Porsche driving practice using the course, and the adrenaline rush all the time.

In the previous Sunako Juku, I wrote that 30-minute shifts give me a nice break, but it seems that I didn't really need a break. If you can let me run forever, I want to run forever.

Although it rained quite a bit on this day, it was cloudy overall, so there were quite a few stains on the car.

Even so, this day was also a day with a lot of learning.

This rear-engine-only course (midships are also OK) was the best for me, as it taught me the characteristics and points that were specific to Porsche.

If I were to participate again next time, I would like to do this rear engine limited course.

Porsche is really interesting.

The more I know, the more I can't stop thinking, "It's amazing!", and in my case, even the base model Carrera is so amazing that I can't handle it at all.

From now on, I would like to play with Porsche 911 more and more and learn more about the greatness of Porsche 911.

I would like to know the fun of Porsche that "the fun when you can handle it is immeasurable" ^ ^

Sunako Juku, Mr. Kofuya, Mr. Mitsuhiro Kinoshita, all the staff, and everyone who participated with us, thank you very much!
