Singer Vehicle Design Announces Partnership with Cornes Motors

Singer reimagined Porsche＠ Trunk Hotel in Shibuya

On this day, I was heading to the Trunk Hotel in Shibuya.

We entered the hotel and headed towards the back as instructed...

There was a breathtaking view.

Yes, here is the scene.

Singer, founded in California, USA in 2009, is proud to offer two beautiful reimaged Porsche 911 964 cars called the ``Turbo Study'' and ``DLS Turbo.''

Along with the display of these two cars, a partnership between Singer and Cornes Motors in Japan was announced.

最初のご挨拶でSinger Vehicle Design創業者のロブ・ディキンソン氏は

"Singer exists to celebrate Porsche heritage and is a brand that pays tribute to the Porsche 911."

He also stated that he is pleased to have formed a partnership with Cornes Motors.

By the way, the founder, Rob, is really cool.

I was so honored and moved just to have the opportunity to speak to him, but since I had the chance, I also talked about something I've always wanted to talk about: my favorite color of the Porsche that Singer rebuilt.

The color isSinger Vehicle Designの『Aubergine Light Pearl』という色From the moment I saw this color, I knew I wanted to drive a Porsche in this color someday.

However, this color is not available in Porsche PTS, so I told Rob, "This color is so great, I want to drive a Porsche in this color someday, but Porsche PTS does not have it," and Rob replied, "That's right, butPTS PlusIf that's the case, we can send a color sample to Porsche and they can make it for us!"

That's exactly right. I'm so touched by your advice.

But I couldn't help but act like a commoner and say, "Yes, that's true, but it's expensive!"

…ら、ロブさん、Singerが再構築されたの4億越えのプロダクトを前にしながらも「そうだよね、さらに2年くらい時間かかっちゃうしね」と寄り添って下さる優しいお言葉(涙涙)。

He was a very nice, cool and gentlemanly man. It was a real honor to meet him.

After Rob's greeting, everyone was free to look around at the Singer reimagined Porsches on display.

Alcohol and finger food will also be served at the venue.

The red wine served was delicious.

Singer Turbo Study

では飲みながらSinger Vehicle Designが今回日本に持ってきて下さった素晴らしいお車2台を見ていきたいと思います。

The Turbo Study costs $900,000 (approximately 140 million yen).

Singer Vehicle Designの営業さん(これまた超イケメン)に「乗っても良いのですか？」と聞いたところ「どうぞ！」と言って頂けたのでちゃっかり運転席に乗らせて頂きました＾

Singer DLS Turbo

Another car on display was the DLS Turbo.

Looking at this wide-body car, which was already cool enough in the turbo study we saw earlier, it is even more impressive and overwhelming.

This gold color is also lovely.

By the way, this DLS Turbo starts at $2.7 million (about 420 million yen). Even though there may be some exchange rate fluctuations, it's still over 400 million yen!!

I was told that I could sit in the driver's seat, so I sat in it.

But from the moment I got into the DLS Turbo, there was an indescribable atmosphere.

In any case, it is filled with an overwhelming sense of refinement and an elegance that is indescribable, which is completely different from its impressive appearance.

It's no wonder that a pervert instantly emerges from the driver's seat, grinning non-stop (lol).

It was an unknown world to me that an air-cooled Porsche, an old Porsche 964, could be created to create such an overwhelmingly elegant, clean and beautiful space.

The seats, door panels, and roof were all white (cream?) Alcantara, and it was beautiful.

What surprised me even more was that there were speakers behind the seats (around the feet of the rear seats)!! What is this, it's the best.

今までネット上でしか「Reimagined Porsche 911 by Singer」を拝見させて頂く機会がなかった私ですが、今回こうして目の前でリアルなSingerが再構築されたPorscheに会わせて頂き、その印象は120%良い方に変わりました。

写真や映像だけでも素晴らしいなと思っていたReimagined Porsche 911 by Singer。

When I saw it in front of me, its presence was incredible.

Singer has recently formed a partnership with Cornes Motors in Japan, but in order to place an order, he still has to prepare his own Porsche 964 as the base for the restoration, and the price is quite high, so there are still many hurdles to overcome.

But even so, when I saw the actual car in front of me, I felt the unique attention to detail, and if it has even higher performance, I can understand why so many people are attracted to it.

今回来日された2台のお車をさんざん拝見させて頂き、Singer Vehicle Designの創業者のロブさんや営業様などとお話させて頂いたあと、ホテルをあとにしました。

It's just too beautiful.

It's so beautiful that it makes you wonder, "Is this a car meant to be driven?"

The more you look at the details, the more it seems like a jewel box; it's hard to imagine that it was part of a car that was meant to run.

I am impressed by how much attention to detail like this is.

Although I still don't have a full understanding of air-cooled Porsches, I had a truly luxurious time this time.

Just meeting Porsche makes me happy every day, and meeting Singer who "Reimaged" those wonderful Porsches was a wonderful encounter that will change my life forever.
