Donations to three charities.
Wow, that's amazing.
A while ago, Porsche collaborated with the movie 'Toy Story 5' to create a collection of cars, each of which is one of a kind in the world.Three special Porsche 911 models unveiledWhile this had been happening, the purchase price (planned donation price) of those three Porsches has now been announced.
These three cars were originally created as part of a charitable effort, and the proceeds from their purchase were to be donated to three charitable organizations.

In the past, a similar charitable project was undertaken as a collaboration with the movie "Cars," creating a Porsche 911 Sally Special. In that case, the car was auctioned off, and the entire amount was donated to charity.
I had assumed this would also be an auction, but then came the sudden announcement that "the prospective buyer has pledged to donate $3 million."
Wait, you didn't buy it through an auction, but by contacting someone directly and deciding to purchase it that way?
It certainly seems like a whole story was planned from the start, but in any case, the anonymous person who ended up buying these three cars promised "3 million dollars." That's about 488 million yen at today's exchange rate.
However, the yen is currently extremely weak, so even if we calculate it using 150 yen just to be sure, it's still 450 million yen... no, it's still a lot of money.

Thanks to this wonderful anonymous buyer's purchase (donation), Porsche will donate $1 million each to three non-profit organizations: Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross, and Starlight Children's Foundation.
The buyer is a Porsche collector and philanthropist, and he reportedly stated that "faith and family were the greatest motivations."
It's wonderful that these three characters from Toy Story, transformed into Porsche 911s in the real world, have brought such large donations to various organizations. I believe that these three cars will bring even more happiness to their new owners as they join their collections.

The collaboration between Disney and Pixar emphasizes their shared commitment to creating stories that inspire people and contribute to society, and this spirit is said to be at the core of "Toy Story."
This collaboration with Porsche truly inspired people and contributed to society.
Incidentally, these three cars are currently touring the United States for an event organized by a non-profit partner, and are scheduled to be officially handed over to their new owners during Monterey Car Week in August.
