Porsche to release limited edition model of 100 units to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Nürburgring: Porsche 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring

Porsche has unveiled yet another special model, the '911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring'.

This commemorates the connection between the Nürburgring and Porsche, as the Nürburgring will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2027.

The car's interior and exterior details are said to perfectly capture the unique charm of the Eifel region's racetracks.

This car will be publicly displayed at the Porsche Sixth Carrera Cup Deutschland, held at the Nürburgring on August 15-16, 2026.

A total of 100 units will be prepared for the German market, and orders will begin being accepted from September 2026. Deliveries are scheduled for 2027, the momentous year that marks the 100th anniversary of the Nürburgring.

Although it's a limited edition model for the German market, let's take a quick look at what this Nürburgring 100th Anniversary Limited Edition is all about.

Exterior: The front section and rear trim are green.

• The body color is available in two options: white and GT Silver Metallic.
  • White is a classic and neutral racing color that is used on many vehicles from the factory.
  • Therefore, each sponsor's logo can be freely placed.
  • The GT Silver Metallic paint is inspired by Porsche Cup cars, and its vibrant green accents evoke the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife's nickname, "Green Hell," given by Sir Jackie Stewart.

• The front and rear trims are covered in a green wrapping film, which also serves as a protective film.
  • Factory teams used to mark their cars this way to make it easier to identify each other during races.

• The optional color-coordinated Manthey kit enhances the motorsport character.
  • In addition to improved suspension and optimized brake components, this kit features a comprehensive aerodynamic package that increases downforce to 540 kg at 285 km/h.
  • The kit's performance potential was demonstrated when current DTM champion Ayhancan Güven recorded a lap time of 6 minutes 50.853 seconds on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

• Another detail inspired by motorsport is the green-finished tow hooks (which can be screwed into the front and rear before taking it to the track).
• In accordance with general race regulations, white arrow markings indicate recovery points.
• The fenders feature the historic Nürburgring logo, and the hood, doors, and rear window are adorned with customizable starting numbers ranging from 0 to 999.
• The designers of Style Porsche and Exclusive Manufakture have adopted a special font that looks handwritten, drawing inspiration from the graffiti on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

• Like racing cars, the sunstrip on the windshield combines both design and functionality.
• The body parts and wheels are also designed to match the color concept.
• The mirror base is finished in the body color, but the upper and lower shells are finished in green.

• The lightweight 20/21-inch (front/rear) 911 GT3 forged aluminum wheels are painted in high-gloss California Gold, with the center lock mechanism finished in satin black with the GT3 logo.

• The B-pillar features a special badge adorned with the words "GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring" and a graphic of the Nürburgring track layout, also rendered in California Gold.

• A large wing at the rear is a defining feature of the car's appearance.
• The underside of the wing blades features the Porsche logo in gold, the side plates are painted green, and are adorned with a gold Nürburgring emblem.

Interior: Green roll cage and a driver's seat with staggered perforations.

• "Welcome to the Green Hell." This phrase highlights the unique character of this limited edition vehicle, creating an exciting driving experience for both driver and passenger.
• The door sill plates, made of brushed aluminum with a black anodized finish, are engraved with these letters.
• It lights up white, and when you open the door, it clearly makes its presence known.

• Each LED door projector projects the outline of the Nürburgring circuit onto the ground.
• The interior, featuring black extended leather/lace-text trim, is highlighted by special cross-pattern decorative stitching on the dashboard and upper door panels.
• The combination of three black stitches and one GT silver stitch creates a striking look inspired by the curbs of the Nürburgring.

• To match the color accents on the front and rear, the rear roll cage is painted green.
• Of the two lightweight sports bucket seats, this color is used only on the driver's side.
• The stepped perforations in the center panel and bolster of the seat allow the green lining to show through.
• The driver's side headrest is embroidered with the Nürburgring logo, and the passenger side has the word "GT3" embroidered on it.

• Both are removable and enhance comfort when wearing a helmet on the track.
• A striking feature is the mode button on the GT steering wheel, which is engraved with the words "Grüne Hölle" (Green Hell).
• The push-to-pass button is also finished in green.

• The dashboard trim panel is painted in a high-gloss green.
• You can choose between a 7-speed PDK and a 6-speed sports manual.
• The gear markings are finished in green.
• The shift knob for the manual transmission version is made of walnut wood, just like on the 911 Carrera T.

The iconic Chronograph 1's case is made of lightweight yet robust titanium with a black coating, and houses the high-precision, COSC-certified Porsche Design Caliber WERK 01.140.

The watch displays the day of the week and date in two languages, and the movement is driven by a rotor that matches the design and color of the car's wheels.

The watch features details that connect sports cars and timepieces, such as the historic Nürburgring logo on the matte black dial.

The black strap is made from genuine Porsche interior leather, perforated just like the car's seats, and lined with green textile.
