Competition model for the Porsche Carrera Cup Japan
Starting July 16, 2026, applications for the purchase of the new Porsche 911 Cup (992.2 model), the competition vehicle to be used in the 2027 Porsche Carrera Cup Japan (PCCJ), began in Japan.

PCCJ is the longest-running one-make race in Japan, which started in 2001. All participating cars compete in the 911 GT3 Cup under completely equal conditions.

It has been introduced in several Carrera Cup series, including the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, since the 2026 season, and the new model, for which applications for purchase have now begun, will finally be used in the PCCJ from the 2027 season.

The new 911 Cup is equipped with a 4.0-liter horizontally opposed six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, producing a maximum output of 382 kW (520 PS).

"I don't race, but I love Porsches, and I have some extra money, so maybe I'll buy one to add to my collection ^^"
If you encounter someone like that, be careful.

This is because if you purchase this 911 Cup from Porsche Japan, you are obligated to participate in the full PCCJ 2027 season.
It's an obligation, an obligation!

So, if you buy it thinking, "I'll just buy it to display," you might find yourself competing in the Carrera Cup before you know it, so be careful!
Those wishing to participate in the Carrera Cup must contact the Porsche Carrera Cup Japan Secretariat and submit a designated vehicle purchase application form by Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
If you are interested, please come!
