Watching the Porsche Sprint Challenge Japan at Fuji Speedway

SUNRISE Blvd. Special Viewing Plan

On Sunday, July 12, 2026, rounds 5 and 6 of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Japan (PSCJ) were held at Fuji Speedway, so I went to watch and cheer on the teams.

This will be my first timeSUNRISE Blvd.I was able to watch the game using [Name of person/organization]'s "SUNRISE BLVD. Special Viewing Plan".

Sunrise Boulevard is a specialized shop that focuses particularly on Porsches, and they handle a wide range of services, from various maintenance tasks for European imported cars to setting up the cars for track use.

This special viewing plan was prepared because Sunrise Boulevard is competing in two categories, GTWC JAPAN CUP and PSCJ, with three cars participating in this event.

The special viewing plan on Sunrise Boulevard for this day includes:

• SRO GT-World Challenge/JAPAN CUP Grid & Paddock Pass
• Provision of a dedicated hospitality space
• Premium Lunch Catering
• Pit Garage Tour
• Meet & Greet with Race Ambassador (Chisa Kanoe)
• Grid walk
• parking

These were among the items included.

This time, I'd like to write about the day I enjoyed, including the details of that special viewing plan.

First, you receive a pass at the gate of Fuji Speedway (hereinafter referred to as FSW) and enter.

As I will explain later, I was able to park my car in the paddock area on this day, so I parked it there.

Now, once you've parked your car, the first thing to do is check in.

A dedicated hospitality area had been set up behind Sunrise Boulevard's pit.

It's a large tent like this.

It was a sticky and humid day, but the temperature didn't reach 30 degrees Celsius, and it was mostly cloudy, so it was comfortable in the shade with a breeze.

There was also a rest area set up inside the pit area, which I'll talk about later when I introduce the lunch.

After checking in, we received souvenirs in a cute mini bag.

This "Porsche" bag is just too cute. I think I'll be carrying it around to future Porsche events.

The decorations related to Sunrise Boulevard that day featured many balloons, which were also stylish and wonderful.

Balloons bearing the numbers of the cars participating in the race were also prepared, so we cheered them on with these balloons.

Supercar area

Now, let's return to the topic of the parking lot in the paddock area.

This particular location was designated as a "supercar parking lot," where various supercars were parked (and displayed).

Numerous supercars were lined up.

Among them was an exhibition of "Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer" by Singer Vehicle Design.

Behind them, Cornes' incredibly stylish lounge trailer had also arrived!

This is,Could this possibly be something I used before in Osaka???

And then, within the supercar area, there was an area that could almost be described as a "Porsche area."

It appears that the cars parked in this area that day belonged to those who participated in Sunrise Boulevard's viewing plan.

The sight of so many Porsches, of various models and eras, parked together is truly magnificent.

This area is an exhibition area and not a regular parking lot, so this time everyone is parking diagonally like this.

There were so many cars with magnificent wings towering above them.

As someone who particularly loves new things, I was thrilled to see these latest GT3 RS models with their incredible wings in a variety of body colors.

Both cars were incredibly cool, but the one I particularly liked this time was this ice gray with blue wheels.

I had never considered or even imagined combining ice gray with blue, but seeing this combination in person, it looked really cool on the RS.

These two colorful Boxsters each have a Barbie and a Ken inside (right?).

Cute (lol).

Pit tent area

The paddock also had an area where pit tents used by PSCJ members were lined up.

Seeing these tent pits makes me feel like I'm at an event overseas.

And now, let's look at the #86 Cayman GT4 Clubsport that will be competing in the PSCJ.

This is the car of someone I met through social media, and it's the car I went to support this time!

The fact that you're participating in a race like PSCJ as a gentleman driver makes you seem like a god to me, and I have nothing but respect for you.

*Gentleman driver: An amateur driver who participates in races while having a different main job, rather than being a professional driver.

PSCJ Gridwalk

It's finally time for the PSCJ Round 5 final, so let's start with the grid walk.

Sunrise Boulevard will be participating with two cars, car number 86 and car number 87.

Good luck to both cars!

Car No. 86 is also perfectly ready.

Hold on tight with your balloon and cheer them on!

On this day, the PSCJ held the final race of Round 5, which I had the pleasure of watching, followed by the final race of Round 6. Car No. 86 won its class in Round 6!

I'm so happy about the good result. Congratulations!

I unintentionally wrote down the race results first (lol).

The car leading the PSCJ during the formation lap was the Taycan Turbo GT.

The Taycan Turbo GT looks absolutely stunning in a setting like this. So cool!

Once the race starts, I'll quickly move to the area around Dunlop Corner.

The reason is... I wanted to take pictures!

I switched from my smartphone to a DSLR camera to take the photos (※The resolution is significantly reduced when uploading them to the blog...).

I also enjoyed taking panning shots after the Dunlop Corner while cheering and watching the race.

That was fun to watch the Tokyo Marathon 2026.

Watching the race, I was surprised to see so many cars veer off the track at Dunlop, either because they couldn't make the turn (or because they were trying to avoid a car that couldn't make the turn).

So many different things are happening in so many different places.

There was contact in this area in a different race that followed.

I had a great time taking lots of photos of car number 86, which I was rooting for.

It was cool, and more than anything, knowing that someone I knew was racing made me feel completely different, so I got excited every time car number 86 came by, watching and taking pictures.

Oh yes, Mr. Imoh, the president of Porsche Japan, was also there that day and was a presenter at the PSCJ awards ceremony.

Imo-san, as far as I know, PEC Tokyo is held almost every month.morning missionHe's been there, and he's been participating in events like this for a long time. I'm really impressed by how much time he dedicates to Porsche events, and how he always works while experiencing the Japanese Porsche market from a customer's perspective.

Now, let's talk a little about the hospitality included in this support package.

As mentioned earlier, we were able to use Sunrise Boulevard's tents, which were exclusively for participants of their viewing plan, as a resting place and lunch venue, but this wasn't the only place we could use.

That's right, they also opened up the area behind the pits to those participating in the viewing plan, so we were able to relax there as well.

Normally, when I think of the pit area, I only picture mechanics or staff members taking a break, so having the opportunity to relax there was a truly precious experience for me.

Not only was lunch provided, but drinks were also available at any time you liked.

I was happy to see they also had non-alcoholic beer. I was impressed that they always had cold drinks available, even though I imagine many people drank a lot.

Also, the first thing I tried here was Wilkinson's dry ginger ale.

I didn't know products like this existed!

I tried it out of curiosity, and wow, it's spicy!

It says it's spicy, and that's true, but unlike regular sweet ginger ale, it really tastes like ginger.

Kanda Myojin Shrine in Chiyoda Ward sells a ginger ale called "Jinja Seien (Ginger Ale)," which is a corny dad joke (lol), but it's also incredibly gingery, and drinking it while at FSW this time reminded me of Jinja Seien.

Ah, maybe that's why the cheering (shrine cheering) turned out so well (I wonder).

Lunch is mainly Italian (though my eyes are drawn to the curry).

From freshly baked pizza to pasta, lasagna, meat dishes, and even naan bread, two kinds of curry, a variety of delicious and satisfying meals were served one after another.

There were also desserts, including shaved ice.

I chose the matcha, but if you choose the Uji Kintoki, it comes with plenty of red bean paste, and the mango comes with plenty of mango pulp, making it very luxurious and delicious.

Sunrise Boulevard's viewing plan was very homey and warm, and their hospitality was wonderful, with great attention to detail in many aspects.

GT World Challenge ASIA Round 6

Later that day, there was also the GT World Challenge ASIA Round 6, so I participated in the grid walk and spotted Seiji Ara, who was competing with a BMW.

It was a wonderful day, as I unexpectedly got to meet Mr. Ara as well ^^

So, of course, I also watched this match.

I love seeing Porsches driving, and I also enjoyed seeing other manufacturers' cars driving around. It was great to be able to compare the sounds of the other cars to the Porsches.

Oh, why are racing cars so incredibly cool?

But watching them, it's really scary how "close" they are.

If I were sitting in the driver's seat, I think I'd be thinking, "Surely we've already hit the car in front of us?" But this is happening at high speed, so it's nerve-wracking just watching it.

This Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo was eye-catching with its iridescent, sparkling body, and upon closer inspection, I noticed that it was adorably decorated with the quirky characters from Toy Story.

The winner of the day was this Porsche 911 GT3 EVO (992 model).

Congratulations.

SRO Japan Cup Round 2, Race 2

Next up is the Japan Cup.

Car number 82 from Sunrise Boulevard will be participating in this race.

This is a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport from ZENKO RS Garage with SUNRISE BLVD., driven by Yoshitomo Makino and Takeshi Suehiro.

The result was a class victory from pole position, congratulations!

Moreover, this result is incredible, as it marks four consecutive wins since the opening game of the season.

By the way, the diffusers on the GT3 class cars that participated in this race were amazing.

I kept looking at various diffusers and excitedly saying, "You could probably poke and cut the tokoroten (agar jelly) with this, couldn't you?"

This is definitely a tokoroten cutter.

Oh yes, and during the grid walk, there was a performance by the Fugaku-kai of Fugaku Taiko (Fugaku Drums), featuring drums and what looked like samurai warriors, which was very impressive.

It's like, "Time to go into battle!"

Although I wanted to stay and watch until the very end, I had to leave FSW a little after 3:30 PM due to family commitments that required me to be home before evening.

The traffic was already heavy, but by chance I came across a Macan EV, so for me it turned out to be a fun traffic jam ride home while admiring the Macan EV.

It was a truly wonderful day, filled with encounters with many people I'd met through social media, the chance to see lots of cool cars including Porsches, and being soothed and entertained by the amazing hospitality of Sunrise Boulevard.

And above all, I want to express my gratitude to the driver of car number 86. Thanks to the many wonderful connections he made, I was deeply moved to witness his courageous performance racing in a Porsche.
