First FSW hotel accommodation experience
On Sunday, October 22, 2023, the EBI Group, which is the parent organization of Porsche Center Takanawa, Porsche Center Koishikawa, etc., the Porsche dealers that I use to purchase Porsche, held an event to commemorate Porsche's 75th anniversary.``The Fest.''There was an event @Fuji Speedway.
In order to participate in the event, this time I stayed at the Fuji Speedway Hotel, which was the first time for my family, so I would like to tell you about that time.
I have been to Fuji Speedway several times, but I have never been to Fuji Speedway Hotel (FSW Hotel) even though it has been open for about a year. was.
As I headed towards the entrance of FSW Hotel...
The photo is a little blurry, but there are already a lot of Porsche flags at the FSW Hotel in preparation for The Fest. the next day.
This time, as part of the program of The Fest., there was also a "FSW hotel pre-night plan", so Porsche was displayed at the hotel as well.
You'll be excited even before checking in.
Furthermore, when you go to the parking lot, this is the street.
As expected, it was a hotel parking lot the day before tomorrow's Porsche event, and the situation was already "Is it Porsche parking?"
No way, I've been so excited since the night before.
I thought that most of the Porsches parked here would be participating in The Fest. The next day, I was looking forward to the event the next day, and I was really excited since I was in this parking lot the day before. It was.
When you enter the hotel, you can see a glimpse of the museum.
I didn't have any plans to visit the museum during this stay, but I felt like I could see it from various places without having to enter.
On the wall projection where the names of legendary drivers are scrolled, the names of many drivers who say, ``Oh, I know that'' are scrolled by, and as you scroll, you say, ``That person too. This person too.'' I watched the whole episode.
The artworks displayed inside the hotel are all related to cars.
This time, we had booked a hotel individually instead of using the pre-night plan for The Fest., so we had booked meals at the FSW hotel without permission, but we were able to stay with The Fest.'s accommodation plan. For those who were there, there was an event held the night before at the hotel.
We were just "passersby" (lol) and greeted the EBI staff who were there.
alsoEBI Porsche RallyI really enjoyed the nights when I got to meet many EBI staff members, and I really love everyone at EBI ^^
Inside the hotel room, there were many FSW and car themed decorations and details.
The coaster also has a tire pattern.
The amenities are designed to resemble plastic models from Tamiya Co., Ltd., whose headquarters are in Shizuoka Prefecture, where the FSW Hotel is located. cute.
This time, we didn't plan to stay the night before The Fest, so we couldn't have drinks with everyone, so we had the eve party in our room without permission ^^
When I turned on the TV, the FSW course guide was playing.
There were also National Geo and Discovery Channel (I like both), so I happened to watch a program about the Porsche Macan factory.
I watched it while saying, ``I feel like it's Porsche fate that the program that came on while I was drinking in my room the day before the Porsche event was about the production process of the Macan.''
By the way, according to the information on this program, the production of Macans made at this Leipzig factory will be completed in less than two days. already.
After the Macan is completed, it is said that a test drive will be conducted within a distance of 1.6 km, and since 500 Macans are made a day at this Leipzig factory, 500 test drives will be conducted in a day. . Too amazing.
...It's fun to drink while watching Porsche related programs, but here's the real fun of this hotel.
Yes, this time we booked a ``circuit view'' room, so when we opened the curtains and stepped out onto the balcony, this was the view that spread out in front of us.
The main course of Fuji Speedway is spread out in front of you.
Straight from Panasonic Corner, the view is even more impressive than I had imagined. It's too great.
Even more.
Is it okay for a coincidence like this to happen? However, that night was the day when the Orionid meteor shower was at its peak.
The starry sky is difficult to see in the bright night sky of Tokyo, but from the balcony of FSW I could see the Orion constellation so beautifully.
In the end, I couldn't see any meteor showers (my husband said it might have been an illusion, but I think he did see one), but I'm sure there are meteor showers near the constellation Orion, which can be seen right there. I believed it would be true, and I made a lot of wishes ^^
This is the view I saw when I went out to the balcony after waking up in the morning.
It's already too good, isn't it?
When I decided to go to the hot springs in the morning, I looked at the view of Mt. Fuji from the hotel hallway and saw this.
Unlike the circuit view, Mt. Fuji was clearly visible. This is fine.
There were also cars at the door to the so-called public bath. This is the entrance to the women's bath.
This is the men's bath entrance.
There was also a pool.
After taking a bath, in addition to cold tea from Shizuoka Prefecture, we also offer Asagiri milk and coffee milk from Asagiri Kogen.
Sweet coffee with milk while looking at Mt. Fuji after a bath is the best.
There is also a simulator inside the gym, which guests can play for free for 30 minutes.
So, I'll do it for 30 minutes.
This month (October 2023)Simulator Challenge being held at Porsche Experience Center TokyoThe theme was ``Run around Fuji Speedway in a Porsche 911 RSR'', so this time we also tried to see how long we could get with that theme.
We divided the 30 minutes between two of us, so each of us could only complete about 10 laps, including the settings and change of time, but I couldn't get used to the RSR anymore and I was like, ``Hey! ” and kept going off the course.
I managed to record a time of 2:06.381 without going off course. Even though it's a Porsche 911 RSR, it's slow (lol).
My husband was running a time of 1:43.556, so I'm still getting used to it, so I decided to try it.
In the morning, I took a bath and enjoyed the simulator while looking at Mt. Fuji, and then returned to my room.
Every time I turn on the TV, it's always a show about cars. At this point, we're talking about Camaros and Corvettes.
Then, I heard the sound of running cars outside, so I went out to the balcony and looked...
oh. The running program for The Fest. had begun.
The view of the circuit from above is the best.
I sat on a comfortable chair (sofa) on the balcony and watched the participants in The Fest.'s running program run.
It's already the best.
I can hear the sound of the Porsche running, and by watching everyone driving from above I can see the lines of each line, so it's helpful in many ways. There was a lot of learning that made me think, ``I'm messing up.''
And you can see the dangerous driving, so it's really exciting (lol).
Although The Fest had already started, we had not entered the running program this time, so we just relaxed in our room until the hotel check-out time of 12:00.
The FSW circuit view was so comfortable that even though I knew the event had already started, I ended up enjoying myself at the hotel until the very last moment of checkout.
It's check-out time, so I'd like to head to the venue soon.
...And when I left the room, I saw a minicar placed in front of another room.
When I thought about it, the room where this was placed seemed to indicate that "Housekeeping is currently working on it." Stylish.
In the lobby, there are spherical objects made in the shape of circuits from around the world.
There should also be a Fuji Speedway shape, but I couldn't find it all.
The tables in the cafe next to the lobby were cute and playful.
There are also car-related objects under the table.
It was a hotel that I thought would be fun for anyone who loves cars to stay at least once.
And my number one recommendation would be to watch the race while having a drink from the hotel's circuit-view room on days when there's a race you'd like to watch.
Of course, if you want to go to the venue (or next door) and watch the game with other people, or if you want to watch it up close, it's better to go to FSW, but today I want to watch the game from my room. I thought it was great when I was feeling like this.
I didn't have time to enter the Fuji Motorsports Museum inside the FSW Hotel this time, but I have plans to visit this museum again soon, so I'd like to take a look at the museum again then.
My stay at FSW Hotel was more satisfying than I had imagined.
Next, I would like to finally head to The Fest. ^^
