Audi e-tron Vision Gran Turismo Night in Tokyo Akihabara
I went to "Audi E-tron Vision Gran Turismo Night" held in Akihabara on August 8, 2018.

First of all, we will finish the reception in the basement of the building in Akihabara.
The inside of the venue on the first floor was like this. The lighting is based on red, which is the image of Audi, and it feels like a blue laser is flying there.
It was a day when it was said that the typhoon hit directly, so I was wondering what to do if there were few visitors, but it was a great success and a good number of people came.
In addition to red lighting and blue laser lighting in the venue, DJs played club-like songs from the DJ booth, so during times when events such as talk shows are not held, it is really inside the club. I felt like I was spending a relaxing time.
The most important purpose of this event was to unveil the Audi e-tron electric vehicle, but other than that, there was a talk show of people involved in etron, and Gran Turismo (game) was actually held here. There was a visitor participation type race on the e-tron by.
A talk show by Kazunori Yamauchi, a producer of Gran Turismo. By the way, the shape of the big vision of this venue seems to be the shape of the single frame grill of e-tron, and the shape everywhere was the shape of this single frame grill.

At Lamborghini events, men who look like cool models are dressed in black suits and respond to them ... but when I went to such an event for the first time, Audi was surprised. I thought it was a playful feeling with an image similar to Lamborghini (because I had a completely different image).
On this day as well, the men who serve are all in black, but there is a red line only in Thailand, which is really club-specific.
Oh yeah, when I first checked in at the reception, I was asked if I would race (if the Gran Turismo race experience was won by lottery at the venue).
I'd say it myself, but since "Hiki" is quite strong, if I get a chance to experience Gran Turismo racing in such a place, I will show off my very bad Gran Turismo driving in front of the media and so many people. I have to do it ...
It's nothing more than a punishment game for me, so I refused it exactly (laughs). Different types of bands will be distributed to those who do not race and those who race if they win the lottery.
For those who want to race, if they win the lottery, this white, round part labeled Audi will glow red ↓.
All the invited guests wore this wristband, whether it was shining or not. Is it a little futuristic?
Those who win the race will not only have their wristbands glowing red, but their numbers will also be posted on the screen of the venue. The image is cool.
The selected person will go up to the stage in front of the venue and run on the four Gran Turismo racing simulators installed there. I want this.
The race for the general public who won the lottery has just started, so I watched it. The live broadcast of the moderator will be included and the race situation will be relayed firmly.
It's a game, but the whole venue got together and said "Oh!" And watched the race (laughs). Everyone who participates in the race, everyone is really good at being able to appear on the stage! !! It was a lot to see.
The Gran Turismo race run at Etron, which is being broadcast live, looks like this. All four people use the exact same e-tron, so there is no difference in the cars, and it is very difficult to tell who is who (laughs).
In the end, the driver named Mr. Yamada won the championship. The moderator calls Mr. Yamada to interview.

Active racer, Shinnosuke Yamada appeared? !!

In other words, it was Mr. Yamada, an active racer, who was doing this wonderful run, and I was lucky to see such an amazing Gran Turismo race! !!

I missed the details, but maybe it was a ticket that I could ride on a circuit taxi such as Fuji Speedway, and the moderator also laughed, "No, I can give Yamada a circuit taxi ticket ... (laughs)". I did.
That's right. Just three days ago, the person who was running the real R8 on the Fuji Speedway with Super GT got a ticket to ride on a circuit taxi. It was interesting to see how this part of the process was created by chance (laughs).

By the way, I would like to introduce the underground venue as well. In the basement, the stage on the first floor can be seen on the big screen in the lounge.

Do you understand? Audi's older brother who stood a little as a model stands in front of R8. I thought that this kind of place is a little like Lamborghini as a way of showing. It's just my selfish image (laughs).

There was also a Gran Turismo simulator in the basement, which was not a lottery, but participants seemed to be able to play freely. However, it seems that they were lined up quite a bit, so it seems that they had to line up so much in order to play.
Also, there are various finger food services on the 1st floor, in the basement, and inside the venue.
Since the theme of this event was "illuminated" (the dress code is also "Sporty elegance with illuminated accent"), some finger foods and drinks also took in light.
This is cotton candy, but the stick is shining. I'm glad that this kind of little thing was full of playfulness. Audi's image in me may have changed!
The story goes back and forth, but this is the VIP lounge on the 1st floor. The main service of the VIP lounge was not the older brother in black clothes, but the maids from Akihabara (laughs)!
I felt like I was able to see a playful and fashionable Audi with a fairly light glue on this day.
I was happy to see the actual car of the e-tron. Is it because it really looks like a "car that came out of the game", and when you look at what you took in the picture, it looks like CG even though it is a real car? Belief (laughs)?
