The long-awaited Porsche 911 GT3 S/C (Sports Cabriolet) was finally unveiled on April 14, 2026!

This model is the first 911 GT3 from Porsche to feature a fully automatic convertible top, and it is said to be a model designed with driving enjoyment in mind.

It combines the lightweight design of the 911 S/T with the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine of the 911 GT3, producing 375kW (510PS) and 450Nm of torque.

The exterior also features the distinctive hood and doors of the 911 S/T, combined with a black front windshield frame, creating an instantly recognizable look.

The transmission is a lightweight, short-ratio, sporty 6-speed manual.

Another notable feature is that, among the current 911 series open-top models, it's the only one truly designed as a two-seater, so it's impossible to make it a four-seater no matter what (laughs).

While that aspect is reminiscent of the 2019 Speedster, the biggest difference from the Speedster is that it's "not a limited edition model."

The GT3 S/C weighs 1,497 kg, which is only about 30 kg heavier than the 991 generation 911 Speedster. A new package called the Street Style Package is also available.

Thoroughly lightweight design to maximize the enjoyment of driving.

The lightweight body components inherited from the 911 S/T are immediately recognizable.
The hood, front fenders, and doors are made of carbon fiber.
The carbon fiber anti-roll bars and shear plates are also carried over from the fixed-roof 911 S/T.
The brakes and wheels also follow the lightweight design of the S/T, with PCCB brakes, which are more than 20kg lighter than painted steel brakes, coming standard.
The 20-inch front and 21-inch rear center-lock wheels are made of lightweight magnesium, a feature inherited from the 911 S/T.

This reduces the rotational mass by approximately 9 kg.
Magnesium is also used in the fully automatic convertible roof of the 911 GT3 S/C.
The lightweight and compact 40Ah lithium-ion battery also contributes to the car's overall weight reduction, achieving a weight reduction of approximately 4 kg compared to conventional batteries.

Sporty and sophisticated interior

The interior features lightweight carpets and lightweight door panels with carbon fiber pull handles, design elements inherited from the 911 S/T.
The 911 GT3 S/C is designed as a two-seater and comes standard with four-way adjustable sports seats plus.
Lightweight sports bucket seats with folding backrests and carbon fiber seat shells are also available as an option.
The foldable bucket seat has a built-in chest airbag and allows for electric height adjustment and manual fore-aft adjustment.
Three-stage seat heaters are also available as an option.

The interior comes standard with a black leather finish.
The same material is also used for the sun visors and A-pillar trim.
The GT3 S/C logo is embroidered in the center of the rear bulkhead trim.
Perforated leather is used in the center of the seat.
Like the 911 S/T, the steering wheel is also finished in perforated leather.

Like the current fixed-roof 911 GT3, the 911 GT3 S/C is started not by a button, but by a rotary ignition switch located to the left of the steering wheel.
The digital instrument cluster supports the driver with a clearly organized display and operation concept.
In "Track Screen" display mode, the digital displays on either side of the tachometer can be narrowed down to only the bare minimum information, such as tires, oil, coolant, and fuel.
Shift lights positioned on either side of the tachometer indicate the optimal shift timing.
You can rotate the display as needed so that the 9,000 rpm rev limit is at the 12 o'clock position.

The high-revving naturally aspirated engine produces 510 PS.

The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter engine in the new 911 GT3 S/C is designed to comply with the latest emissions regulations and features two particulate filters and four catalytic converters.
Despite having such an extremely efficient exhaust gas purification system, it also delivers an emotionally stirring sound.
The acoustic experience is especially enhanced when the roof is open.

The cylinder head has been improved compared to the previous 911 GT3, and the more aggressive camshaft inherited from the 911 GT3 RS further enhances response at high RPMs.
The powertrain also features flow-optimized individual throttle bodies and an improved oil cooler.

The flat-six engine produces 375kW (510PS).
The 6-speed GT manual transmission features the same sporty, short final drive ratio as the 911 S/T and 911 GT3.
The new 911 GT3 S/C achieves 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
The maximum speed is 313 km/h

The fully automatic convertible top features magnesium ribs.

Because the 911 GT3 S/C does not use the double-bubble rear cover of its ancestor, the 911 Speedster, it is possible to install the current 911 series' fully automatic lightweight roof instead of a manual soft top.
By innovatively using magnesium ribs, a coupe-like roofline is achieved even when the fabric roof is closed.

Maintaining a nearly identical outline, the fabric roof extends in an elegant arch from the front window frame to the roof storage compartment lid.
No structural members are exposed beneath the fabric, and there are no elements that would interfere with the flowing flyline design characteristic of the 911.
This also brings advantages in terms of aerodynamic performance.

Thanks to its particularly lightweight hydraulic roof actuator, the soft top can be opened and closed in approximately 12 seconds, even when stationary or while driving at speeds up to 50 km/h.
In addition to the two flat ribs, magnesium is also used in the front roof frame and rear window frame.

The integrated electric wind deflector allows for an exhilarating open-top driving experience even at high speeds or in cold environments.
The electric wind deflector deploys in just 2 seconds with the push of a button, and can be opened and closed at speeds up to 120 km/h using a switch on the center console.

An appearance that is instantly recognizable

The front windshield frame is also finished in black film to match the black roof, giving the 911 GT3 S/C a distinctive look.
The stone chip protection film on the side panels also has a matte black finish.

The matrix LED headlights integrate all the lighting functions at the front, eliminating the need for additional light units that were previously located on the front bumper.
As a result, the air intake area was significantly increased, leading to a more streamlined design.

This is the first convertible 911 to feature a retractable rear spoiler with a Gurney flap, a feature also found on the 911 S/T and 911 GT3 Touring Package.
The front spoiler lip and rear diffuser are carried over from the current 911 GT3.

According to Andreas Preuninger, head of the GT model division:

The chassis settings for the new 911 GT3 S/C are the same as those for the 911 GT3 Touring Package.
Like all 911 GT3 models, it comes standard with 255/35 ZR20 tires at the front and 315/30 ZR21 tires at the rear.

A street-style package that highlights a unique visual identity.

Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur offers an optional Street Style package for the new 911 GT3 S/C.
The eye-catching decorative graphics on the front fenders and the "PORSCHE" logo on the side of the car are finished in pyro-red.
The wheels are painted in Slate Gray Neo, which harmonizes with the accent color of the exterior.

The victory gold-finished brake calipers feature a black "PORSCHE" logo, and the wheel rims have pyro-red accent stripes.
The front features smoked HD matrix headlights and body-colored air blades, creating a striking accent.

In the interior, the Adaptive Sport Seats Plus feature an embroidered outline of the Porsche crest, adding a visual accent.
The center of the seat features leather woven with four colors: slate gray, guards red, magnesium gray, and Kalahari.
This exquisitely crafted material is also used in the glove compartment.

Furthermore, much of the interior is finished in a two-tone leather of slate gray and guards red.
The contrasting decorative stitching, door handle loops, seat handles, and seat belts are all finished in Guards Red.

The steering column trim, seat console, inner sill trim, and fuse box cover are also finished in leather.
Leather is also used for the air vents (including the louvers).
The floor mats have leather trim.

The sun visors, interior mirror console, front windshield frame, and convertible roof headliner are made of perforated slate gray Race-Tex.

As a special visual and tactile highlight, the dark-finished gear lever is paired with an open-pore laminated wood shift knob, and the shift pattern is displayed in pyro-red.
The "GT3 S/C" badge below the gear lever, the accent strip on the dashboard, and the "911" badge on the passenger side are also finished in pyro red.

Furthermore, Porsche Design also offers accessories that match this street style package.

Lightweight storage box for rear cabin

A lightweight storage box is available from Porsche shops as an accessory for the 911 GT3 S/C, providing additional storage space in the rear compartment.
This box weighs only 10kg, has a capacity of 80 liters, and features a leather exterior.
It features two lockable lids on top and a fabric loop handle.

Because it is attached by pins fixed to the vehicle body structure, installation is very easy and quick.
The trim strips, decorative stitching, and fabric loop handle colors can be individually customized to match the selected interior specifications.
A storage box with specifications compatible with the street style package is also available.

A 911 GT3 S/C on the wrist.

Porsche Design has unveiled a special timepiece exclusively for owners of the 911 GT3 S/C, recreating the design and performance of the sports car on your wrist.

The "Chronograph 911 GT3 S/C" is equipped with the high-precision COSC-certified Porsche Design caliber WERK 01.200 and also features a flyback function.
The case is made of ultra-lightweight titanium, and a black titanium carbide coating is available as an option.
It fuses the design of sports cars with modern watchmaking technology.

The GT3-themed dials, featuring yellow accents and a hexagonal pattern, reflect the design of the vehicle's instrument panel.
The winding rotor is inspired by a magnesium forged wheel.
The dial coloring is compatible with all body colors of the 911 GT3 S/C, including Paint to Sample.

The strap uses actual Porsche interior leather and stitching, and is a special edition tailored to the owner's vehicle specifications.

The new Porsche 911 GT3 S/C is now available for order, with prices starting at €269,000 including VAT and country-specific equipment.
The price of the Street Style package is €27,941.20.
