I'm going to talk about the yellow GT3 again, but I recently took my 997.1 model GT3, which had been revived after its battery died, for a drive early one morning.
I left home at 4:30 in the morning. It's my morning routine.
The night before was a full moon, so even at dawn, the full moon was still clearly visible, and it was truly beautiful.
It's a shame that the photos can't fully convey the beauty and size of the moon.
As we approached our destination, the sun rose. It was beautiful!
So, what did I go out for so early in the morning? Well, I wanted to take a picture of my yellow GT3 with yellow rapeseed flowers in the background, so I went out to take that photo.
That's because a little while ago, a fellow Porsche enthusiast posted a beautiful photo of a Porsche surrounded by rapeseed flowers on Instagram.
Here it is. Isn't it absolutely gorgeous?! ↓
The moment I saw this photo, I thought, "I want to go too!!" and started asking about the location.
But, however.
This Instagram photo was uploaded on March 22nd. But my GT3 has since...The battery died and it stopped working.Because of this, even though I wanted to go out to shoot, I couldn't really leave (lol).
In the end, my drive to see the rapeseed flowers took place about two weeks after I saw the photos.
As we approached the area where the rapeseed flowers were blooming... ah, well, it seems the peak blooming season has passed and the flowers are a bit sparse.
Moreover, it was so early in the morning that it was still a bit dim...
But!
As the sun gradually rose and it got brighter, the rapeseed flowers turned an even more beautiful yellow (although I did adjust the brightness of the image (lol)).
Furthermore, in the photo on Instagram, there are rapeseed flowers on both sides of the road, right?
I actually wanted to go to that spot too, but the road that I thought was probably it was closed because it was too early in the morning, so I couldn't get in (lol).
So, although only one side was covered in rapeseed blossoms, I was still very happy to have taken a picture of the yellow GT3 against a beautiful yellow background.
Next year, I'd like to try taking pictures again, making sure not to run out of battery power and timing it perfectly to coincide with the peak blooming season of the rapeseed flowers.
When the car's color matches the colors of the flowers like this, it makes taking photos together more enjoyable, and I feel like I have more things I want to do each season.
In autumn, I like to take pictures with the yellow ginkgo trees, and having a Porsche along with various seasons and scenes makes it even more enjoyable.
Porsches really do bring me a lot of happiness, at least for me, and they are truly the best cars.
