911 Lovers Night - Urban Edition -

September 11th, 2025 will be the eighth 9/11 Day for me since I started this blog.

It feels like I write this every year, but time really flies and eight years have flown by in the blink of an eye.

If there's one thing I wonder, what would I have been doing in the last eight years if I hadn't met Porsche eight years ago?

I don't think I would have done anything during the time I spent with Porsche during these eight years, so I may have been immersed in something else, but after all, I met many wonderful people with Porsche these eight years, enjoyed running with Porsche, learned about a world I didn't know through Porsche, and learned about myself I didn't know, so I can only think that the eight years I spent with Porsche were the best ^ ^

Well, on 911 Day in 2025, EBI Marketing, the Porsche dealer group I work with, held a Porsche lovers' gathering called "911 Lovers Night - Urban Edition" at Porsche Studio Ginza, so I attended that event.

This time, I was joined by a friend who had participated in the previous S-Taikyu race.Fuji 24 Hours EnduranceI was invited to participate by a fellow Porsche fan who had cheered on Porsche (Porsche Team EBI, the team that organized this event) all night long.

But after I decided to participate, another Porsche friend contacted me and asked, "Are you going?" After all, when I went there, there were a lot of Porsche friends. I'm so happy ^ ^

I also got to meet the Porsche dealers for the first time in a long time, which really felt like a reunion. I also made some new acquaintances here.

In this situation, I am grateful for the connections I have made with everyone I have met through Porsche, and I am also grateful to Porsche Center Takanawa, who sold me a Porsche, and to Porsche Center Takanawa Koishikawa and EBI Marketing, who have provided such a wonderful venue.

Inside Porsche Studio Ginza, a DJ plays upbeat music, and everyone starts drinking.

On this day, I was having so much fun talking with my friends that I didn't take any proper photos, so I don't have any photos of the alcohol (sorry!), but on this day,SiCX Kyoto Distillery" and " next to Porsche Studio GinzaThe Momentum by PorscheA collaboration GIN with " was also available.

I had a little bit too and it was very tasty.

After the event started, a mechanic from the Porsche Center talked about the 911, there were greetings from everyone in the EBI Group, and there was also a talk about the EBI Group's involvement in motorsports.

The event was attended by Rintaro Kubo, who has won the SP4T class of the Nürburgring 24-hour race, and Porsche junior driverRyoma Heianyamatoo.

In between the various talk events, a variety of finger foods will be served.

The meals are, of course, provided by Momentum by Porsche, located next door.

The mini cheeseburgers are super cute!

For the main course, we were served a magnificent red sea bream that had just arrived, as well as a menu topped with truffles.

The main course is roast red beef and grilled red sea bream in salt crust.

Everything was delicious, including the appetizers. I'm so happy!

I got a mug at the quiz

There will also be a quiz competition along the way.

The format was to answer 10 questions on your smartphone, but the questions were quite difficult...they were the kind that made you think, ``Huh, which one is this?'' and I struggled with many of them, but I got 8 out of the 10 right, so I was able to get within the range to win a prize.

However, only one person could receive the prize, so those who answered correctly with the same number of correct answers decided to play rock-paper-scissors to decide the winner.

...And I ended up winning (lol) and received the Turbo 50Y mug, which was the prize for answering 8 questions correctly. Thank you very much ^^

After that, a rock-paper-scissors tournament was held between those who answered 9 questions correctly and those who answered 10 questions correctly, and it was a very enjoyable time.

Meeting Porsche junior driver Heianyama

On this day, we were also able to use the simulator installed inside Porsche Studio Ginza as much as we wanted.

My husband was playing the game, and when I looked over, I saw a young man staring at the screen next to him.

"Hmm, maybe he's a young person who likes Porsche?" I thought as I approached him... wow.

Wow.

This is Porsche junior driver Ryoma Henzan. The person indicated by the yellow arrow.

My husband was running the simulator while being watched by a Porsche junior driver. I wonder if he was nervous (laughs).

Heianyama-san is extremely young, and at first glance it's hard to imagine him racing a GT3 Cup on a circuit like that, but he gives off an impression of being sharp (in a good way), and I think he must be a very strong-willed person.

Please keep up the good work ^^!

Porsche Cake

Finally, it was time for dessert, and this adorable Porsche cake was brought out.

I'm so touched by this. It's so cute!!

Isn't this the perfect way to celebrate 9/11 Day?

This Porsche cake was made by the pastry chef at Momentum by Porsche over two days.

I know from personal experience that it's really difficult for an amateur to make a good Porsche shape using clay (lol), so I think it's really amazing that they were able to recreate a 911 in this cake.

Judging from the vertical fins on the front, it looks like a 992.2 Porsche 911 GTS? It was delicious!

As always, alcohol was provided, and I enjoyed drinking with many wonderful Porsche friends.

It was a great 9/11 day. Thank you!

There is no doubt that the 911 has made my life more enjoyable and fulfilling.

And I'm grateful for all the connections I've had through Porsche.

911 Day: Visiting two Porsche Studios in Tokyo

That's right, this day.

Before the 911 Day event at Porsche Studio Ginza, I had some business to take care of and stopped by Porsche Studio Nihonbashi.

From Porsche Studio NihonbashiI purchased a GT4RSI can only be grateful ^^

I was glad to be able to visit two Porsche studios in Tokyo on 911 Day.

I look forward to celebrating my encounter with the Porsche 911 again on next year's 911 Day.
