By the way, more than 18,000 units of the new fully electric Macan, which was just announced for 2024, have already been delivered.

In Europe excluding Germany, sales increased by 81 TP1T compared to the previous year to 75,899 units. In Germany alone, sales increased by 111 TP1T compared to the previous year to 35,858 units.
North America saw an increase of 1% compared to the previous year to 86,541 units, making it the largest single region for sales.
Sales in China were down 281 TP1T from the previous year to 56,887 units, due to "the ongoing severe economic situation in the region" (Porsche).
In other overseas and emerging markets, sales increased by 6% year-on-year to 55,533 units.

*Starting with 2022, Porsche AG has changed the way they calculate numbers, so the table is a little confusing.
*Up until FY2021, figures were included for "Germany in Europe," "U.S. in the Americas," and "China in Asia-Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East," but from FY2022, The Americas” has disappeared, leaving only “North America,” and “Asia and the Pacific…” has disappeared, now combining “China” and “other overseas regions.”
Deliveries of the new EV Macan will begin at the end of September 2024 and 18,278 units have already been delivered.
Although the new Macan, a fully electric vehicle, was announced in January 2024, deliveries did not actually begin until the end of September 2024.
The number of vehicles delivered between the end of September and the end of 2024 will be 18,278, which is a very good figure.
In most countries outside the EU, the ICE Macan is offered alongside the EV Macan, and a total of 82,795 Macans were sold worldwide in 2024, including both ICE and EV models.
This figure is 5% lower than the previous year, which is said to be due to the discontinuation of production of the ICE Macan in Europe and the fact that the EV Macan is still in the phase of being introduced gradually.
The 911 increased by 21 TP1T from the previous year to 50,941 units. The 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman increased by 151 TP1T from the previous year to 23,670 units, probably due to increased demand as they are the last models before the EV version. The Cayenne also performed well, increasing by 181 TP1T from the previous year to 102,889 units.
Finally, the surprising results are the Panamera, which is down 131 TP1T compared to the previous year, and the Taycan, which, although it was obvious, is down 491 TP1T compared to the previous year for the whole of 2024, with 20,836 units.
Porsche explained that the drop in the Panamera was due to declining demand for the car in the Chinese market, while the drop in the Taycan was due to the launch of electric vehicles proceeding more slowly than planned.

A year ago, Detlev von Platen, Porsche AG's Managing Director for Sales and Marketing, predicted that 2024 would be a "challenging year," and it appears that it has indeed been a challenging year.
And Detlef von Platen said about 2025:
"We expect the economic and geopolitical situation to be more challenging than ever in 2025. Nevertheless, our goal is to further strengthen our brand globally and unlock our market potential. We will do this in line with local demand, in order to stay true to our principle of value-based sales in the future."
