This time I became the C group out of the A to D groups in the Porsche Track Experience master course.
The instructors of Group C are Shinichi Takagi and Keisuke Koda. I really enjoyed the pair of these two people ^^ Mr. Takagi messed with Mr. Koda, messing around (laughs).
Now, let's move on to the training content.
I'm not sorry to spare, but since everyone has been making various efforts and spending time before coming to this master course, the details (contents that can be taught, advice, etc.) I would like to make it easy so that there is no spoiler.
It seems that the instructors are changing the course contents to better ones by trial and error every time, so the contents may be different from this time again next time, so for your reference.
PTX 2021 Master: Gymkhana
The first program of Group C is Gymkhana. Moreover, sudden time measurement. From the morning! Suddenly.
First of all, there was an explanation of the course, etc., and for the first time as a C group, there was a face-to-face meeting with the participants and a conversation with the instructors, so I think that I would like to thank everyone in this C group today. It felt like the first icebreaker.
The course is not a difficult one like "I can't remember such a course" even if it is called Gymkhana, but it is like a so-called slalom.
First, Mr. Koda, an instructor, will show you an example.
After finishing the first one, he said, "I'm not convinced", the other one. I'm sorry I don't remember the small numbers, but as expected, the instructor, the time was in the 14 seconds range, which was shortened by about 1 second from the first run.
I did my best with that as an index and goal, but at the practice stage before this time measurement, there were various things such as "Is it better to fix 1st gear, should I use up to 2nd gear, should I stiffen the suspension?" Try changing it.
After all, in my case, it seemed best to go in the sport mode where the 1st speed was fixed and the suspension was solid.
There are two chances for time measurement per person.
As a result, my time was 15 seconds 98. It's far from Mr. Koda's 14-second range, but I'm satisfied with just getting the 15-second range (although it's really barely (laughs)) ^^
What I was most happy about was that I was able to transfer the load properly, and I thought this was the result of what I learned in the slalom of the previous performance course.
Last time, Mr. Kageyama told me to go fully open when stepping on the accelerator with slalom, so I challenged while remembering that again.
I'm still embarrassed to drive, but I'd like to upload my Gymkhana video this time for my memorial and record ↓
The reason why I couldn't turn on the accelerator at the second turn in the first slalom was because the length of the first slalom was too long to fully open, and I remember failing, so I couldn't turn on the accelerator. weak! ↓
Hmmm, but it's so much fun! !!
PTX has just begun, and sudden time measurement when the body and tires are cold.
Even if I still couldn't get a good time, I felt that adrenaline came out all at once and the most fun PTX started ^^
PTX 2021 Master: Truck Road Change
The next lesson is to move to the FSW short circuit and practice going through the corners while being aware of the load transfer by turning the accelerator on and off.
It was a lesson using two corners that came down from the straight of the short course.
Again, first from the explanation of the points.
Since this is a master course, I can't explain the basics too much, so if you have any questions, you should go get it yourself.
At first, I didn't know where and how to brake, and whether it was the correct answer to turn on the accelerator at the 1st and 2nd corners, so I heard that I didn't know anyway, and I could do as much as I could in the lesson. I made it possible to improve.
If you are participating in a place where you can learn a lot, don't be shy about what you don't understand and listen to everything.
The first start was a bad start at all, but by getting advice once and getting closer to what I was told, I think that in the end it was much better than the first. ..
Even so, I also liked listening to all the comments and advice from the instructor to other people through the income.
Because, if you are good at it, an instructor
"Hmm, it's perfect!"
But that is perfect for the second time
"No, it's perfect!"
And the third time is perfect
"Oh, that's perfect, thank you!"
I was secretly entertained by saying, "Oh, thank you for perfection (laughs)!"
Of course I'm really happy when I'm praised (basically, please praise me ^^), but I really like the instructor's praise when other people are really too good and thank you for coming out unintentionally. was. Hahaha.
Ah. It's getting longer, so here.
Next is the second half of the driving lesson. Continue →PTX 2021: Porsche Truck Experience [Master] Training content ②
