Nice to meet you. I always enjoy reading your blog.
This is unrelated to the blog's content, but I don't know anyone around me who could offer advice, so I thought I'd ask for your opinion, Rika. My 992.2 Targa 4 GTS is due for delivery at the end of this month or the beginning of next month, and I'm debating whether to install PPF. My current 991.2 Carrera S and 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 have had PPF installed on the front and rear fenders. However, the installation costs about ¥650,000 to ¥750,000. I'm wondering whether a stone chip on the bumper or hood would affect the resale value by ¥650,000 to ¥750,000, so I'm not sure what to do this time. The person at Porsche who I use tells me that I probably don't need PPF because I'll be upgrading to a new car every three years or so. What do you and your colleagues think about PPF? I'd appreciate your input. Thank you.

  First of all, congratulations on the upcoming delivery of your 992.2 Targa 4 GTS! I'm looking forward to it!
  
  As for PPF application, I have never done it on a Porsche, so my answer would be "I don't do it."
  
  However, in my case, I don't always drive in a way that would allow me to race on a circuit, and I'm a pretty optimistic and careless person, so I don't really think about resale and I have a carefree attitude that it's okay if the car gets a little damaged when I drive, so it might be best not to take my advice as a reference (lol).
  
  *However, it is a contradiction that if a stone lands on it or it gets scratched, I still get shocked and say "Eeek!" (lol).

  Another thing I'm worried about is whether the item I receive will actually look exactly like the one in the picture. I think it will come to nearly 30,000 yen including shipping, so I feel like it would take a bit of courage to buy it from Aliexpress (lol).
