Porsche Center Adachi Tour

Of the two big things about Porsche that guided a Porsche mechanic who was visiting Japan from the United States for sightseeing,One was a visit to the Porsche Experience Center Tokyo..

And here's another one.

This time in the city,Porsche Center AdachiA visit to you.

Speaking of Porsche Center Adachi (hereinafter PC Adachi),Porsche Studio NihonbashiPorsche Center just opened on November 24, 2022, which is operated by the same series.

Before,I participated in an event held by Porsche Center NihonbashiAt that time, I was introduced to an English-speaking mechanic (who has experience working in the United States).

This time, when I was thinking that I would like a mechanic from the United States to experience the Porsche Center in Japan, the first thing that came to my mind was this mechanic who can speak English.

"Ah! If it's him, he might do a PC Adachi tour in English."

Equipped with a Porsche Turbocharger, a maximum 150kW class quick charger that can be used 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (PC Adachi)

When I asked for it without hesitation, both PC Adachi and the mechanic kindly agreed to it, so I was excited to visit PC Adachi for the first time ^ ^

By the way, I didn't know it, but PC Adachi seems to always offer a PC Adachi tour to new customers.

Therefore, if you have not been there yet and are interested, please ask for a tour when you visit PC Adachi for the first time.

It is recommended ^ ^

I would like to go there.

Design based on the latest corporate identity

around the reception

On this day, Taikan is in the space immediately after entering.

Since it was a new Porsche center, I thought that the center itself was huge, but it was surprisingly compact than I thought.

Still, various spaces are secured, and they are all designed based on Porsche's latest corporate identity, which is nice.

By the way, the PC Adachi was built by Tokyu Construction, which is said not to usually undertake dealer construction.

There is also a delivery space for this on the 1st floor. ↓

Color samples such as body colors were also placed in this delivery space.

This is not only used when delivering this space, but for example, when an existing Porsche owner buys the next Porsche by transferring, first put the currently owned car in this delivery space and get a color sample there. while doing

"Is this good, is that good?"

It seems that it is possible to consider Porsche before.

In fact, many Porsche owners also have a Porsche (or additional car) for their next car, so you can decide on your next car while looking at your own car and imagining the next Porsche with a color sample. seems very good I see.

And furthermore, this is a space as a place to check in for service receipt. ↓

Even at the time of car inspection reception, first put your own Porsche here, raise the car and look at the bottom of the car, "Do you want to do it here this time?" is recommended.

A customer who had only a negative image of vehicle inspection said that the vehicle inspection became a positive experience because he was able to consider it while being properly explained here ^ ^

That's why it seems that those who are going to be stocked in relation to the service in general will be accepted here first.

Then, I would like to go to the 2nd floor by the stairs.

"Welcome" in various languages on the stairs.

Was there 5 cars on the 2nd floor that day? There was a Porsche exhibition of.

One of the Taikan Cross Turismo that was on display that day was cool because only the front lip had a different color.

Nice with a casual option (?).

There is also a sofa seat on the 2nd floor...

There is also a private room for business negotiations.

An introduction to Tequipment.

Furthermore, there are two private rooms called “consultation offices”.

Each room is decorated with Porsche art.

Porsche Center Adachi Repair Factory

Then, from here is the main event (?) of the tour, and I feel like I'm infiltrating behind the scenes. Excited.

If you enter through the door next to the car exhibition on the 2nd floor...

There is a so-called repair shop area.

The factory is very neatly organized, bright, spacious and clean.

Also, since the lift that raises this car can be used according to the position of the engine depending on the vehicle, can you see that the shape of the U-shaped lift is in the opposite direction? ↓

I see.

Porsche Special Service Tool (SST)

In the back of the maintenance area, there are a lot of tools that dealers purchase directly from Porsche Japan called "Special Service Tools (SST)".

Since these SST tools are prepared with a considerable amount of investment (laughs), it is possible to correspond to any Porsche vehicle.

It was organized very nicely.

By the way, in order to keep these tools in order, dealers in the United States have photos showing where and how each tool should fit.

So, is that a Toyota style ^^?

Taycan's cable is called Snake Pit

Oh yeah, on this day, the front of the Taikan was opened by chance and I was able to see the inside, so I took a look.

I'm impressed because I can't see this easily.

It had an incredible amount of cables running through it, each labeled with an ABC and a letter. When I asked a Japanese mechanic, he said that the numbers (ABC) are assigned in this way because once the cable is pulled out, it becomes difficult to know where it is.

By the way, it seems that the American Porsche mechanics call the Taycan cable, which is crowded with too many cables, a "snake pit" (meaning snake hole = cable is a snake, snake because it looks messy).

It's interesting to talk with an American mechanic to hear such small things ^ ^

Car elevator supports up to 3.5 tons

Then, I was guided to the 3rd floor... but here, I used the elevator for carrying the car to go up from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor.

Oooh. Before,Kids experience at Porsche Center MeguroI remembered that I was allowed to ride when I went to play. Well, at that time, I was even more happy than the children, but this time I was really excited (laughs).

It seems that the vehicle elevator installed by this PC Adachi has a specification that can withstand up to 3.5 tons, and Cayenne will become a full EV in the future,The model called K1It is said that an elevator that can handle the heaviest weight at the moment has been introduced so that it can be handled when it comes out.

Foresight. I'm sure you don't know how many tons it will be when the K1 comes out.

There was an area with an alignment tester on the 3rd floor when we arrived.

Furthermore, the car wash is also in this 3F room. ↓

This is because by creating a car wash indoors, it is possible to wash the car in a state where it is blocked from dust and pollen at this time.

It's great that you can wash your car without being affected by the weather or whether it's hot or cold. Nice ~.

There was also a place to change tires in the back.

Did you just change the tires at this time too? Maintenance? It was done, but Porsche's tires are still big.

Next, go to the 4F rooftop.

Up to 20 cars can be parked on the roof. Based on the ordinance, there is also a green space for rooftop greening (a little ^^).

It seems that the cars parked on the roof are basically the cars that customers keep, and parking them on the roof leads to theft and mischief prevention.

Well, it's certainly quite difficult to steal a Porsche from this rooftop, so I don't think I'll dare to aim here. n/a.

Although it was sunny on this day, the visibility was not clear, so I could only see it faintly, but I can see the Sky Tree from the rooftop.

Of course, it is also possible to charge while parked on the rooftop.

Then, since the tour to the rooftop is over, we will use the car elevator again and return to the 1st floor at once.

The 1F part that got off the car elevator was a maintenance space for EV.

The space for electric vehicles is always equipped with fireproof shutters in case of a fire, so that damage can be minimized.

By the way, I was so focused on the story that I didn't realize it when I was allowed to visit, but I was surprised when I looked back at the photos to write this blog.

The reason is that the Macan GTS on the left side, which was just being maintained in this area (although it is not an EV), was the car of an acquaintance (laughs).

I think it was under maintenance just before delivery. What a coincidence! ↓

Next to the EV maintenance area is the EV battery storage. This space is also individually closed with a fire shutter. ↓

* At this time, there was no battery storage, so it was a parking space ^ ^

After a thorough tour of the Adachi facility, we left the building and moved to a space a little further away.

Even though it's far away, it's really close, but it's PC Adachi's certified used car exhibition hall.

It seems that they carefully select and purchase better certified used cars from all over the country, and in order to check the condition of the car, which cannot be conveyed from photos alone, they even go to Nagoya and Osaka to carefully select cars.

In addition, it is said that they try to purchase cars with "something" that can be differentiated so that they can purchase cars that have some characteristics even within the same model (with rare options). , and the wheels are cool, etc.).

In fact, there seemed to be inquiries from all over the country via Car Sensor.

This time, the mechanics of PC Adachi gave us a tour of the Porsche Center in English, and the mechanics from the United States were very pleased. "I'm glad I can communicate with LA slang!", Mr. US mechanic said, naturally "Conversation that can be done because Porsche mechanics can do it", I can only say that it is truly amazing.

Furthermore, this mechanic who can speak English is really cool ^ ^ Thank you very much for this time.

In addition to the guidance in English, the sales staff also guided us in Japanese, so I was able to enjoy the tour of the facility in a very easy-to-understand manner. Thank you for your business. thank you very much.

I was able to have an American mechanic experience a Porsche dealer in Japan, and I was able to visit Mr. Adachi for the first time, and I had a great time. Finally, thank you again to Mr. Porsche Center Adachi and Mr. Porsche Studio Nihonbashi for mediating ^ ^

The American mecha-san left Japan the other day, but I hope I can go to America next time and meet him over there ^^

It's been a fun two weeks!
