Collaboration Porsche electric bicycle with Rotwild
About two years ago, Porsche started selling an electric bicycle (eBike), but this time, two new models will be added to the eBike.
Here is what has already been released:Porsche launches new electric bike: Porsche eBike
The two models added this time are German eBike specialist manufacturers.RotwildDeveloped jointly with
The two models are the following two:
- Porsche eBike Cross Performance
- Porsche eBike Cross Performance EXC
Porsche eBike Cross Performance: Porsche eBike Cross Performance
The first is the Porsche eBike Cross Performance, with Fox factory suspension and a new powerful Shimano EP-801 motor and 630WH battery to ensure the best performance on the trail.
Whether climbing or descending, Shimano's 12-speed electronic rear derailleur always finds the right gear.
The EP-801 motor has two support modes, 'Eco, Trail, and Boost', and up to 15 support parameters can be individually set in the 'Fine Tune Mode'.
In addition, the auto shift function allows the system to shift independently (there is also a free shift function that allows you to shift without moving the crank).
Magura's MT7 braking system features strong 4-piston calipers made from forged aluminum to ensure optimum deceleration.
Rotwild's B220 Flatriser 35 handlebar is carbon and 780mm wide.
The carbon frame is a design inspired by Porsche 911 and Taycan's "fly line".
…well, here’s one.
Normally, if it is "inspired by the fly line", I think it would be fine to just write "911 fly line", but when it was announced, it was emphasized that it was "911 and Taycan fly line" , Since the last eBike, it is said that Porsche's eBike was inspired by Taikan, so I thought that the name of Taikan could not be pulled out ^ ^
Don't you think too much? Oh, yes (laughs).
Porsche eBike Cross Performance EXC: Porsche eBike Cross Performance EXC
Another cross performance EXC, but this is a model designed to meet individual requirements.
It seems that this model is available in colors selected by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, and the colors are the following six colors:
- Ruby Star Neo
- ice gray metallic
- Mamba green metallic
- Carmine red
- shade green metallic
- Shark blue
Here's another irrelevant story, but in this press release announced by Porsche AGThe color of "Ruby Star Neo" is written as "Star Ruby Neo"That's right ↓
The names Ruby Star Neo and Star Ruby Neo are mixed together. Which one...
I would like to unify this kind of place, but for the time being, I would like to go with "Ruby Star Neo".
Even so, it's the same painting work as the production of the car.
Updating existing eBike Sport and eBike Cross
Updates have also been made to the eBike Sport and eBike Cross models that are already on sale.
Both models will be powered by Shimano EP-801 motors in the future, while the Sport model will be upgraded to a Shimano XT DI2 12-speed derailleur with free-shift capability.
New colors have also been added, black for Sport and silver for Cross.
The new eBike models come in three frame sizes:
- S size (for height about 156-170cm)
- M size (for height about 168-182cm)
- L size (for height about 180-194cm)
The eBike is M size and weighs 21 kg (including pedals). The total allowed weight including rider and luggage is 120kg.
The price is German, but the cross performance is 12,900 euros (about 1.94 million yen) and the cross performance EXC is 13,900 euros (about 2.09 million yen).
