Cars & Coffee event at Porsche Experience Center Tokyo

February 19, 2023 (Sunday) is the day of the second Porsche Morning Mission. The theme this time was "Midship".

The weather has been a little cloudy since the morning, but there are bright spots, so it looks like it won't rain.

The reception time was from 8:00, but I mistakenly assumed that it would start at 8:30 until I left home, so I arrived at PEC Tokyo around 8:15.

Actually, it started at 8 o'clock, so there was already a traffic jam in front of PEC Tokyo.

From this time onwards, there was a service for those who wished to have a professional photographer take pictures of their cars one by one after entering, so it seems that it took a long time and was clogged.

When entering the premises and entering the parking lot, there are already many Porsches there.

After the morning mission, the photos of those who agreed to be taken by a professional photographer were delivered free of charge in a ZIP file (to all participants).

What a great service. There were 305 sheets in total.

By the way, I didn't agree to the photos taken by the professional photographer this time, so they are not included in the photos taken by the photographer, but I took a commemorative photo ^ ^ ↓

When I parked the car where I was guided in the parking lot, next to me was a blue boxster in Aohoro.

Since mine is red and blue hood, "red and blue Boxster and blue hood" are lined up and it feels a little familiar ^ ^

In this morning mission, only mid-engined Porsches gathered splendidly according to the theme.

It's quite a sight that only Cayman and Boxster gather so many. amazing.

As mentioned in the greetings from Porsche Japan on the way, I would have liked to have Carrera GT, the ultimate Porsche midship, come to this place if possible, but this time Carrera GT did not participate. bottom. disappointing.

coffee raffle prize

As the morning mission is said to be "Cars & Coffee event at PEC Tokyo", coffee is provided free of charge, so everyone can have coffee in one hand and chat time.

There is a sticker affixed to the bottom of the paper cup for the coffee you can get, and if you remove it and win, you can win a prize.

Last time I wasn't able to grasp the contents of the winner properly, but this time I understood it properly, so I would like to write it.

Oh yeah, I thought it would be nice to have a bottle from my experience when I participated in the first time, so this time I brought a bottle to replace the coffee (laughs).

Her own car was Boxster, so those who came to come to the event on this day.

Towards the end of the day, I had the opportunity to talk with Iida-san about various things, and we had a very enjoyable time together ^^

This car is a PTS color, so it has a very nice color. I think you said that the color of PTS is the color from 356, but I couldn't catch the actual color name. I wonder what it was

Of the cars I saw in this morning mission, this one was the one that I thought was the nicest.

From the moment I glanced at this car, I was intrigued, so I went to see it the moment I had free time.↓

It's "Porsche Boxster" in katakana, in katakana! ! Too novel! !

No, I actually had a conversation with my husband before. "It would be cute if the side decals were written in katakana, wouldn't they?" (laughs).

However, I didn't have the courage or ability to actually do it, and it was just a conversation, but I didn't know that there was someone who was really doing Katakana Porsche.

I was impressed. And this font is too stylish.

Also, is it called the deflector part behind Boxster? When I went touring before, I was interested in the fact that it is possible to change to glass instead of mesh, but this car I saw this time is even more of that. It was painted on glass.

Hmm, this is also new.

I never thought of painting here. Everyone has a lot of ideas and it's amazing.

But no matter how you look at it, it looks like Boxster ... No, it doesn't look like it. Hmm. confusion.

When I looked into it, it looked like a Boxster tuning car that had been exhibited at the Auto Salon. Awesome~^^

PEC Tokyo is a place to meet new Porsche friends

This morning mission at PEC Tokyo, where I have the pleasure of seeing various wonderful Porsches who are here, and the pleasure of chatting with people I already know.

Having experienced the first time, I thought that this place would be the perfect place to meet people who I have never met in person, and who I would like to meet someday. I made a promise to the people I met for the first time on this occasion.

This is because when you say, "Let's meet," you usually decide on a time and place to meet, and in the unlikely event that you can't come due to urgent business or you are late, it will cause a lot of trouble for the other party. I'm worried that I might lose it.

However, with this morning mission, each other can take the stance of "if you can come", and even if one of you can't come, the remaining person can enjoy the event itself called the morning mission (other people There are a lot of people), and I think it's a place where we can meet comfortably in a good way.

In fact, I was able to meet the people who said, "Let's meet at the 2nd Morning Mission" safely this time.

Even when I actually met them, they were just as good as I imagined, and I was very happy to be able to meet and talk with them this time ^^

In this way, I think that Morning Mission is a place that I am very grateful for, as it will be a place to meet new wonderful people through Porsche.

Well, the event was over, and when I thought it was about time to go home, I noticed a tree here.

This Somei Yoshino cherry tree, which I saw at the second morning mission of the day held in 2023, may someday become a fine tree and bloom cherry blossoms. I wondered if I could talk about the cherry blossoms and Porsche with everyone I met, and I was looking forward to such a day ^ ^

From now on, every time I go to PEC Tokyo, it will be one of my new pleasures to check the growth of this Yoshino cherry tree.

After leaving PEC Tokyo, I went to Costco Kisarazu, which is my usual place.

The number one goal is gasoline. In addition, Costco Kisarazu is vacant compared to other stores so far, so it feels good to be able to do shopping more comfortably than others.

Gasoline price on that day was 157 Yen/L in high octane which was the lowest price ever for me. It's cheap.

The wind was really strong that day, and it was so strong that I felt like I was going to be blown away if I was drowsy. I thought it would be hard if I opened it and hit the car around me, so I parked quietly in the back of the parking lot and walked ^ ^ ↓
