This is from the manual (991), but for starting the engine with the Porsche 911 jumper cable, open the front side and connect the cable to the + and-terminals there.

… But if you look at the figure above, the positive and negative terminals are quite far apart! And the cable of the mobile jump starter is short because it is made compact.
