Indecent begins prototype production of a shooting brake version of the Porsche 911.
Indecent, a Portland-based tuner (what a name!), has started working on a kit to convert a Porsche 911 into a shooting brake.
A shooting brake is a two-door wagon-style car, referring to a body style that combines the beautiful design of a coupe with the practicality of a wagon.
This plan to transform the 911 into a shooting brake actually started when rendering images were posted on social media.

The rendering depicts a 991.2 generation 911 with a modified roofline and rear end shape, giving it an appearance similar to a smaller version of the Panamera Sport Turismo.
With its widened rear fenders, aftermarket alloy wheels, and orange body color, this is truly a "911 unlike any you've ever seen before."
Due to the positive response to the rendering images posted on social media, Indicent has given the green light to produce a kit of this shooting brake, and it appears that prototype production has already begun.
Moreover, it seems that this prototype isn't just being made as a test; there's already been an order from someone who wants one made, and this project is specifically for that person.

One of the biggest problems when converting a 911 into a shooting brake is, of course, the fact that the engine is mounted in the rear.
Apparently, when removing the engine cover and installing the new tailgate, the cooling issues must be resolved.
Incidentally, the first car to be produced will be the 991.2 type 911 Turbo, equipped with a twin-turbo 3.8-liter horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine.
It is said that the manufacturing process will take a full year, and if all goes smoothly, it may be unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2027.

Furthermore, this shooting brake conversion involves purchasing the wide body kit already sold by Indescent for the 991.1 or 991.2 generation, and offering it as an upgrade.
The base vehicle could be one of the following: Turbo, Turbo S, or GT2 RS.
The price is extremely high, estimated to be around $350,000 (approximately 56 million yen). *The base 911 Turbo or GT2 RS must be purchased separately.
No, no, no, then wouldn't a Panamera be fine?
Would you like to create what is probably the only Porsche 911 Shooting Brake in Japan?
Indicent has also worked on other projects, such as a Dakar-style version of the 997 Porsche 911 and modifications to give it a slant-nose design. This was made to order as a one-off...
