Porsche Carrera Cup Asia 2026 (PCCA) Round 6: I was thrilled to watch a race full of Porsches.

Porsche Carrera Cup Asia 2026, Round 6, Fuji Speedway

The other day, my fellow Porsche enthusiast, Sally, decided to participate in the KYOJO VITA, soI wrote that I went to watch the game to cheer them on...

On May 10, 2026, the day I went to watch the KYOJO VITA race, the sixth round of the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia 2026 (PCCA) was also being held at Fuji Speedway, so for me it was a fantastic day as I was able to see both.

Just seeing these big transporters with "PORSCHE" written on them made me so excited, I couldn't help it!

This time it's the Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA), not the Carrera Cup Japan (PCCJ), so it's the date of the race held in Japan as part of a series of races held in various Asian countries, and it seems there are no Japanese participants this season.

Porsches that have traveled all the way from various countries to Fuji Speedway in Japan. And the drivers and their team members.

The sheer scale of it all, and the fact that everyone gathered here at FSW with their Porsches for this Porsche race, made me incredibly excited (like a weirdo).

Whenever I see a Porsche, I get so emotional, thinking, "Where in Asia are you from? You've come all the way to Japan!"

When I watched the PCCA, I hadn't yet met up with the Porsche ladies I would be spending the rest of the day with, so I watched the PCCA by myself.

At PCCA, I wanted to take my time and watch the Porsches in action, and I also wanted to try panning shots of cars for the first time in ages, so I decided to watch from near Dunlop Corner.

Perhaps because it was PCCA and not PCCJ, there didn't seem to be many people watching the race itself. At Dunlop Corner, there were only a few older gentlemen with cameras, just like me.

I was so excited to be able to watch the Porsches driving around in such a private setting, almost as if I had the place all to myself, and I waited for the Porsches to arrive in perfect conditions—sunny, not too hot, not too cold.

The announcement is heard, and the race is about to start.

Here it comes, here it comes!

Several 2026 Porsche 911 Cup (992.2) cars sped past me.

Ahhhhh, so cool!!!

Whenever I watch different races, I always think the same thing: "That's cool!" But this time, no matter how much I looked, every single car that came into my field of vision was a 911.

Now that I think about it, I haven't seen a race where only Porsches are competing recently.

So, as I was watching, I realized that it's PCCA, so it's obvious, but "everything is a Porsche!" I was moved by the sight of so many Porsches speeding past me, and by the sound they made, and I was truly overwhelmed with emotion that I couldn't put into words, and I just thought, "That's so cool!"

I really love seeing Porsches driving around. They're the best.

The 911 is truly timeless; no matter what era you see it from, it's just so beautiful.

...and I had a great time taking pictures of race cars for the first time in a long time, feeling incredibly excited all by myself.

I mean, things like "this Porsche model has such-and-such specs" or "its handling is like this and that," and of course, all those performance-related things are important for a Porsche, or for a car in general, but for me, it's simply that the Porsche 911s that drive past me are cool, and the details really don't matter anymore.

I simply find Porsches to be so wonderful, and I get excited just seeing a 911 driving around.

After watching it for a while, I couldn't help but want to say to someone, "Porsches are so incredibly cool!", but when I looked around, everyone was seriously taking pictures, so I couldn't bring myself to say anything...

I was grinning to myself, trying to suppress the overwhelming inner feelings of "Porsche, it's so cool. I love it so much."

PCCA is a race that's over in a flash, lasting just 15 laps or 30 minutes. It's really exciting, and before you know it, it's over.

Ultimately, in the sixth race of the day, #3 came in first place, followed by #17 in second place (3rd place was #88)↓

Incidentally, the driver who came in first place that day, Marcus Amand, is apparently one of the Porsche Junior Drivers for 2026.

Last year, in 2025, they won the Porsche Carrera Cup France.

Incidentally, Marcus's best lap time at FSW that day was '1'40.104'.

Even though he doesn't regularly race at FSW, what's with this speed?! It's incredible (by the way, his best lap time in the 5th race the previous day was '1'39.953').

Still buzzing with excitement, I then joined the Porsche girls to watch KYOJO VITA.

Here's my story about watching KYOJO VITA:I went to Fuji Speedway to support my fellow Porsche girl who is competing in KYOJO VITA.

When I finished watching the races that day and headed home alone, I returned to my Porsche parked in the parking lot and got into it, and I felt truly, truly happy.

That day, I was so excited by the incredibly cool Porsches I saw right in front of me, thinking, "Porsches are so cool, Porsches are amazing, I love Porsches so much, what should I do?" But when I returned to my own car, my Porsche was there to accept all those overflowing feelings.

e? Don't know what you're talking about?

Right? (laughs)

Anyway, I'm just so happy that I'm able to drive my beloved Porsche like this, and I'm once again deeply moved by how luxurious and fortunate that is.

The joy of encountering Porsche, learning about Porsche, and being able to drive a Porsche.

For some reason, on the way home, I was overwhelmed with love for Porsches, perhaps because I had seen so many 911s driving around at full speed—a truly wonderful sight after such a long time.

It was an amazing moment to witness the Porsche 911 Cup in action and to experience its sound firsthand.

I'm so glad I discovered Porsche!
