The next-generation Cayenne may share many similarities with the Audi Q7.
Ralf Keller, head of Porsche's SUV division, has reportedly confirmed that a new Cayenne model will be released by 2029.
This is what Keller told Auto Express magazine, and he said that "we plan to offer both internal combustion engines and hybrids for the next 10 years or so."

While it's now clear that the next-generation Cayenne will continue to use an internal combustion engine (ICE), it's still uncertain whether the V8 engine will definitely remain (due to potential regulatory compliance issues). In that case, the V6 engine will likely be the main focus, and it seems more probable that the V6 engine will continue to be strengthened in the future.
Therefore, the current prediction seems to be that many of the next-generation Cayenne ICE models will likely be V6 + hybrid.
...However, it hasn't been definitively stated that the V8 will be discontinued, so there will still be grades equipped with the V8 engine, but they may be quite limited.

Furthermore, it was reported that the future Cayenne lineup will be closely coordinated with Audi, meaning that "both the MLB-Evo platform and the PPC platform will be available."
The PPC platform referred to here will form the basis of the new Audi Q7, which is scheduled to be unveiled later this year.
It appears that this platform will also be used in the fourth-generation Cayenne.
At this point, there is still very little information available about this next-generation Cayenne, but one possibility that it might be equipped with the active ride system currently featured in the Taycan was hinted at by Mr. Keller during the interview.
Incidentally, the Audi Q7 is a large, three-row vehicle, but that doesn't mean the Cayenne will be the same. The only large, three-row SUV in Porsche's lineup is the upcoming K1 model (as it's currently called).
The Cayenne appears to be about the same size as before.

The new Cayenne being discussed here is expected to be released in 2028-2029, and it's said that its styling will be similar to that of the new Cayenne EV.
Furthermore, given the strong sales of the current model, it is also expected that the next-generation Cayenne will also include a Cayenne Coupe.
