Looking back at 2022 by Porsche
Every year at the beginning of the year, Porsche looks back on last year, so I would like to see Porsche's look back at 2022 again this time.
Looking back at this, I feel nostalgic, saying, "Oh, that happened. Was that still last year?" I like to see this retrospective because I know what I was doing.
I would like to see it.

Guinness World Record for Taycan for maximum height difference
It was a look back at 2022, starting with the news that Taikan made a Guinness record.
Some of you may still remember this, but this is the Guinness World Record for the Taycan as "the electric vehicle that traveled the largest height difference".
The height difference is "4,842.967 meters", and it was achieved by traveling from the lowest point accessible by car in the United States to one of the highest points over 2,250 kilometers.
What I think is amazing about this challenge is that the starting point was from the underground excavation site of the mine. It's amazing that they got off the ramp used by the mining vehicles and went down to the basement.

Cayenne 20th Anniversary
Do you know what Ferry Porsche predicted in 1989?
What he predicted that year was, 'If we make an off-road model of our quality with the Porsche crest on the front, people will buy it.'
And the prediction was right, since 2002 the Cayenne has been one of Porsche's mainstays of global success.
Porsche was looking back on the history of Cayenne in the month that celebrated its 20th anniversary.

I am thinking that I would like to see the actual car as soon as possible ^ ^

Porsche November 2022
25 years since the 996 type Porsche 911 was announced
The 996th generation Porsche 911 is said to be a model that broke many conventions, and it is a model that everything is new except for the design as 911 and the concept of being a rear engine drive.
From air cooling to water cooling, due to the parts sharing concept with the 986th generation Boxster, up to the B pillar is the same as the Boxster interior.
The 996 type Porsche 911, which was developed with such a Boxster under the codename 996, appeared just 25 years ago.
I really liked this teary eye from the time it was released and admired it ~ ^ ^ (I think that I probably did not distinguish between 911 and Boxster at that time (lol)).
Porsche 911 Dakar unveiled
The Porsche 911 Dakar made its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The 911, which Porsche boasts of being comfortable both off-road and on the highway, is said to be a model that reminds us of Porsche's first victory in the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally (by the way, that time was the birth of the all-wheel drive Porsche 911). that).

Official opening of eFuel pilot plant in Chile
Chilean operating company HIF (shown above in April) and Porsche have officially started industrial production of eFuels (synthetic fuels).
The official opening of the Haru Oni pilot plant in Punta Arenas, Chile was also attended by Chilean Energy Minister Diego Pardow.
In addition, Porsche board members Barbara Frenkel and Michael Steiner took part in the ceremony of refueling the Porsche 911 with the first synthetic fuel produced at the plant on the spot.
This is a look back at 2022 when Porsche was announced.
I think there were many other news and various events, but these were the events that Porsche dared to choose from among them.
The year flew by in a blink of an eye, but when I saw that shipments to Russia had been suspended in March of last year, I thought, "Was the war started that long ago??" so much.
It is precisely because I am able to live in a peaceful Japan that I am able to say, "Wait, before that?" I just pray that it will point me in the right direction.
It was 2022 that I still love Porsche, and it's the start of 2023 that I love Porsche from now on ^ ^
