Volkswagen Japan joins Premium Charging Alliance
It was announced on November 22, 2022 that “Volkswagen Japan” was added to the Premium Charging Alliance, which had until now only been “Porsche and Audi”.

By the way, what is the Premium Charging Alliance? It will be possible for owners of each brand car to mutually use the dealer network or quick charger network of each participating brand.
With the joining of VW this time, the number of mutually usable chargers will increase to about 210 locations (220 units) in Japan as of the end of December 2022.
The number of interoperable quick chargers that started with Porsche + Audi last time was 110 bases (121 bases) nationwide, so almost doubled at once? ? I think it's pretty amazing.
By the end of 2022, Porsche alone plans to complete the installation of 6 turbochargers at 9 locations in urban areas and 51 Porsche turbochargers at 47 locations in the indoor Porsche Center.
Porsche owners who have VW dealers or VW quick charger bases near their homes, workplaces, or places they often go may be more convenient than ever ^ ^
By the way, this time, after the announcement of joining this alliance, I also received a LINE notification from Porsche Japan ...
The moment I opened the line and saw the information, for some reason, I was sent a message saying "Search for dealers".
My heart sank for a moment, thinking, "Oh, is someone logging into my LINE account?!"
After all, it seemed that the search was automatically triggered by touching the screen for some reason. When I tapped the map that came out, "Kanto" came out.
