Sales figures for 2022 have been announced.
The number of new Porsche cars sold worldwide in 2022 will exceed 2021 by 3%, totaling 309,884 units.

North America sold 79,260 units, about the same as last year. * As will be described later, the numbers announced by Porsche AG this time are different from the numbers announced by North American Porsche (why?). Therefore, looking at how the numbers have risen from the previous year in this table ↓, it is strange.
Sales in China, the largest single market, decreased by 2% from the previous year to 93,286 units. This is mainly due to the influence of the new coronavirus.
In other regions, sales continued to be strong with approximately 45,141 units sold, an increase of 13% from the previous year.

The remaining 718 and Taycan, but the sales volume of the 718 model (Boxster & Cayman) decreased by 12% from the previous year to 18,203 units.
Although it is said that the Taycan continues to maintain a high level of orders, it decreased by 16% from the previous year to 34,801 units, and this was due to supply chain / parts availability restrictions that particularly affected the Taycan. It is said that it depends on the situation.

In North America, Porsche sold 20,955 new cars in Q4, up 14% from the same period last year, a fairly strong figure.

In the first place, the total number of vehicles for 2021 announced by Porsche AG last year was "70,025", which is the same number as the North American announcement, but this time Porsche AG announced as "previous year (2021)" The number of sales has changed from what was announced last year to "79,166 units".
There is also a difference of "9,141 units" here.
Well, maybe Porsche AG's "North America" from this time is actually a mistake of "America", the breakdown is "70,065 units" in North America, "9,195 units" in Canada or South America, and the rest of Canada I wonder if South America is included in "Other regions". Hmm. Hmm.
