This time, a shop called Pit One, which painted this Porsche 911 with a true black warrior, held an event on July 31, 2022, and this black Porsche 911 was open to the public on the spot, so let me go there. I was.
I made my way all the way from Tokyo to Pit One in the sunshine and heat that could cause heatstroke in minutes if I let my guard down.

The Porsche 911 Turbo is painted with a water-based paint called "True Black Musou", which is read as "Shinkokushokumusou".
I had heard that the paint would come off just by getting it wet or touching it, so I was a little surprised that this exhibition wasn't surrounded by ropes or anything like that and there was no warning not to touch it. I was.
Even so, there were a lot of small children at the venue, but they didn't touch the car or try to get inside, and they were very well mannered, so it's a relationship of trust between the shop and the customers. I thought, I thought it was really good ^ ^
By the way, my impression that I actually saw this black Porsche in front of me.
To be honest, I was like, "Dark matte black?"
I thought that if I saw the actual car in front of me, I would be like, "What is this? My eyes and brain are messed up. Is this a black hole feeling?" The black Porsche I saw had a very dark matte finish, and it didn't make me think, "My head is delusional."
However, I think this is because it was displayed under the strong sunlight, and when I looked at the part that was actually in the shadow, it was pitch black.

The blackness is emphasized when you look at the shadowed part or the part where the sunlight is hard to hit.
I thought I might be able to experience this blackness more if I saw it on a cloudy day or at night. ← Even if the light hits the car in the dark, the car will not be bright, so I think it will give a more buggy feeling.
If the exhibition was also under the roof, the blackness would have been emphasized and it might have looked like a "picture".
When the sun hits it, it looks like a dark black matte paint, but when it's in the shadows, there's really no unevenness, and everything looks like an "anime painting painted all black".
Does a black Porsche really absorb light?
Here, I wanted to see if this Porsche paint really absorbs light, so I was looking at it with a smartphone light.
In fact, even when the light of the smartphone hits it, the black surface does not "become slightly brighter only where it is illuminated", and there is no change in the areas where the light hits and where it does not. was. This is amazing.
I wanted to convey something to everyone, so I tried flash photography and non-flash photography, so please take a look and compare.

If you look at the light (blinker) part below, can you see that the flash is shining from the camera side? However, there is no change in the painted part of the black Porsche.

The moment of flash is at the time of flash photography, but the light is not reflected at all in the black part. This is the power of light absorption rate 99.4%! !
