Meet the Lamborghini Temerario: You can't hide who you are

Posted on: July 15, 2025 Updated:

Lamborghini Temerario

Lamborghini Day 2024 was held at the National Stadium in 2024.

Unfortunately, my family was unable to attend the event due to scheduling conflicts, so we were unable to see a certain Lamborghini that was being unveiled in Japan at the time.

The concept of the Lamborghini model is "You can't hide who you are."

You can't hide your true self...you can't hide your power...and that model is the Lamborghini TEMERARIO.

Recently, it was held in Hokkaido.Lamborghini GIRO Japan 2025A few days after I returned from there, there was another event where Temerario came back to Japan, so I went and participated.

This event was held at a hotel in Tokyo, and when you entered the venue, it was filled with purplish blue lights.

And in the center of the venue there was a car waiting to be unveiled.

We waited for the event to start, starting with champagne, then wine and finger food.

Even though this is a Lamborghini before it has been unveiled, just looking at the silhouette of this hidden model before it is unveiled is enough to get you drinking.

...That's just an excuse for myself to drink (lol).

Unveiling the Lamborghini Temerario

When the time came to start, the event began with a greeting from Francesco Scardaoni, Lamborghini's Director of Asia Pacific.

Next, Paolo Sartori, who was introduced as the newly appointed CEO of Lamborghini Japan this April, came on stage and gave a greeting.

I had worked with Paolo at GIRO Japan the other day, so seeing him there brought back some nostalgia and made me very happy.

Just a few days agoWe were eating shishamo fish together nearby.Paolo... (What a way to introduce myself (lol)). Ah, I didn't actually see if Paolo was eating the Shishamo fish.

A video of Temerario begins to play on the screen in the back of the car while we wait for the unveiling.

These kinds of images are really cool. Just watching them on a big screen with loud sound makes you think "Oh, I want it" right away (←easy).

And after the video, it was not a staff member who unveiled it, but Francesco and Paolo themselves.

I wonder if purple is Lamborghini's favorite color these days? The Temerario is also available in purple.

But I think the purple of Lambo is very Lambo-like and suits him, so it's cool.

Hybrid Collaboration

After Temerario was successfully unveiled, a live performance began in the same venue. The title of the performance was also "Hybrid."

Even this performance is a live performance by two people, one on acoustic guitar and one on electric guitar, making it a true hybrid guitar collaboration.

Following on from the hybrid Temerario, it was very thoughtful and stylish of Lamborghini to emphasize the hybrid aspect in their live performances as well.

After listening to live music and enjoying drinks, we were able to watch the Temerario and sit in our seats as we liked.

I thought there would only be Western-style finger food at the venue, but halfway through, they started passing around sushi, so I got a plate.

Hmm, isn't it delicious?

I even thought about getting another plate, but the sushi was incredibly popular and was gone in a flash (lol).

And finally, dessert.

As expected, macarons came out. They were delicious.

What is the Lamborghini Temerario?

Now, I would like to post some photos of the Temerario that I met that day.

The whole picture looks like this.

Shark nose is definitely flat (image).

Hexagonal daytime running lights

Until just the other day I was surrounded by many Revueltos at GIRO Japan, and I had become accustomed to their eyes (headlights) which were probably raised and sharp, and which looked large due to the Y-shaped effect, so when I saw Temerario it looked like he had his eyes narrowed somehow ^^?

But what bothers me more than the slender yet sharp headlights is...

Shining under the thin light...

Hexagonal daytime running lights!

This hexagonal light immediately catches your eye, as the hexagonal shape is a common theme throughout the entire body.

By the way, these daytime running lights have air tunnels built into them, incorporating the lights into the aerodynamic concept.

Additionally, air passages under the headlights improve aerodynamics and help cool the high-performance front braking system for greater efficiency.

The rear lights are also elongated hexagonal.

The hexagon has been one of Lamborghini's most iconic design elements since the 1960s.

Lamborghini High Performance Electric Vehicle (HPEV)

The Temerario is the second in Lamborghini's High Performance EV (HPEV) series, following the Revuelto.

The three new dedicated modes added with the hybrid system are Recharge (a mode in which the V8 engine quickly charges the battery), Hybrid (a mode in which the vehicle efficiently switches between gasoline and electricity), and Citta (an experience mode for urban driving that can be used in both full electric (maximum output 140 kW/190 PS) and recharge modes).

Temerario achieves 10,000 RPM

The all-new 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine will be combined with three electric motors to produce a total output of 920 horsepower (CV).

This twin-turbo V8 was developed from scratch in Sant'Agata Bolognese and is said to be the only mass-produced super sports car engine capable of reaching 10,000 rpm.

The top speed is over 340km/h and it accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.7 seconds.

2.7 seconds is faster than it takes me to remember "What date is it today?" (laughs)

Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann described the Temerario as "truly Fuoriclasse (first-class/in a class of its own)."

When designing the engine mount and body of the Temerario, care was taken to ensure that the unique feeling of the flat plane crankshaft (180 degree crank pin angle) would be felt by the driver at high rpm and when the engine is at full throttle. The amplitude of this vibration is amplified at high rpm, enhancing the sense of speed and power at high rpm.

As the engine speed increases, the vibrations transmitted to the seat also become stronger, and by the time it finally reaches 10,000 rpm, it provides a sense of speed that previously could only be experienced in motorsports.

Well, you can feel the same speed as if you were driving on a circuit even if you're not driving on a circuit. But I wonder if it's okay to rev it at 10,000 rpm on a public road (laughs).

The new engine, internally designated "L411", is one of the most powerful in its segment, with its twin-turbo V8 producing 800 hp at 9,000 to 9,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 730 Nm between 4,000 and 7,000 rpm.

Powerful and efficient air intakes behind these side doors ensure the necessary airflow.

What appeared to be a fuel filler port at the rear right side of the body was actually a charging port.

The Temerario is equipped with a lithium-ion battery pack with a high power density of 4,500W/kg. The battery is protected by the vehicle's underbody structure and is separated from the front electric motor, rear electric motor, and charging unit.

The battery pack uses pouch-type cells that are 1,550 mm long, 301 mm high, and 240 mm wide, with a total capacity of 3.8 kWh. Even when charging at 0%, it can be charged using both a household AC power source and a charging station with a maximum output of 7 kW, and it is said that a full charge will be completed in just 30 minutes.

What, that's nice.

The roof is also said to be aerodynamically functional, designed to direct air over the rear wing.

I was looking at this back part, thinking how amazing it was, when I noticed that it could be opened from both sides like this. I was surprised.

This is the right side lid (is that the right way to say it?) in the up position.

This is the left side↓ It opens up. When the wings are raised it looks like a cicada (what do you think (lol)).

Large passenger and luggage space

What's great about the Temerario? It also enhances passenger comfort and interior space, making it not only a super sports car that shows its true worth on the circuit, but also the most spacious passenger and luggage space in its segment.

For example, here is the trunk space at the front.

At first glance, the space may not seem as big as it sounds, but...

Apparently, the two carry-on size suitcases that were casually placed here could fit in it.

Ah, no way. That's impossible.

...and then, yes, I'm in!

This front trunk (frunk) has a capacity of 112 litres.

Hmm, amazing.

My Huracan EVO probably wouldn't fit any of these... (but maybe one of them would fit?).

Next, let's take a look at the interior of the car.

When I opened the door, this was the first thing I was happy to find.

That's right, this.

The button to turn off the alarm that I just learned aboutBut in a place like this ^^

The Temerario has been designed to deliver an immersive acoustic experience in all driving modes, with completely different soundscapes developed for each driving mode: Città, Strada, Sport and Corsa.

In Città mode, the electric drive unit delivers specially designed sound for greater comfort, ensuring a smooth and pleasant listening experience when driving in urban environments. This mode also ensures zero-emissions, quiet driving.

In Strada mode, the engine produces a pleasant, homogenous V8 twin-turbo sound ideal for use on suburban roads and highways. The evenly distributed frequencies provide a sporty yet understated driving experience without barking or sharp peaks.

Sport and Corsa modes emphasize the second and fourth overtones and intake harmonics of the V8 four-stroke engine to create an exciting, powerful sound experience.

*There is also a drift mode that generates controlled oversteer, which first appeared in the Temerario, to maximize the fun of driving. Moreover, there are three stages (for beginners (maintaining a slight yaw moment), for intermediate drivers, and for advanced drivers (allowing a wide range of yaw angles).

The electrically adjustable sports seats that come as standard are apparently a new development.

The optional carbon fiber double-shell sports seats are said to securely encase occupants, enhancing the sense of unity in the cockpit.

The transmission is an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).

It is a new DCT that does not have any electrical parts, and it is lighter and has a faster shift time than the 7-speed DCT of the Huracan. The DCT is very compact, with a length of 560mm, width of 750mm, and height of 580mm.

The Temerario has a low seating position, incorporating a new method of creating a sense of unity between the driver and the car.

A steering wheel with an optimal tilt angle for a slim, lightweight dashboard.

The screen is also pretty neat.

The iconic start button is still there.

Optional carbon fiber finishes are available on the centre console, air vents, door panels, dashboard, steering wheel and steering column.

I sat in the driver's seat and looked at the rearview mirror from my perspective, and the view from the back of the car (the view from the rear window) looked like this.

Hmm, this is almost invisible, isn't it? I guess we need to make the Temerario a digital rearview mirror too? ↓

Oh, that's right, when I was sitting in the driver's seat and turned around, I noticed a camera in the yellow circle near the passenger seat. I wonder what it is?

There is also a display in front of the passenger seat.

There will be three displays inside the Temerario: a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8.4-inch centre screen and this 9.1-inch passenger display.

Sorry, I couldn't get a good shot of the back of the front seats. It looks something like this.

I don't know. No, I don't know...↓

There are also other options such as the Alleggerita (lightweight) package, so I think that those who are interested in the Temerario will have fun building their car in various ways.

I was very happy to have met Temerario.

After the live performance, there will be music by a DJ at the venue.

I was so happy to drink the wine. Just how many glasses did I drink?

I had the opportunity to meet Paulo, CEO of Lamborghini Japan, who I met at the recent GIRO Japan 2025, as well as other participants and acquaintances, and it was a very enjoyable time.

Thank you ^^

My family loves the Huracan EVO we currently own so much that we can't let it go, but the Temerario is nice too.

But it's difficult to add more cars, so it's a difficult decision.
