Just while I was renting this car as a substitute, I had a business that I wanted to carry a lot of luggage, so it was very helpful.
Really, I can easily load a lot of luggage without any stress.
It was nice that the inside of the car was comfortable, the navigation was very kind and easy to see ^ ^
When I tried driving, I thought, "You can get out at a speed of 50 to 65 km / h with just a little step."
If you step on the 911 in the same way as if you step on it leisurely (about 45 to 50 km / h with this step), the BMW 218i will quickly reach about 65 km / h.
And, of course, the acceleration beyond that is overwhelming for 911, but this feeling that "it is easy to get out up to about 65 km" was completely different from the usual feeling of 911 and it was interesting ( The difference in feeling when you step on the same amount of "a little").

I always drive with the feeling of riding a Porsche 911.

After that ..., I rented the BMW 118i as a substitute at other times ↓
It was my favorite black car, and it was so cute ^^
As it is small, it is very easy to drive!
Previously, Honda Civic DX hatchback (left handle AT) for about 6 years, VW Golf (left handle MT) for about 5 years, and VW Golf GTI Pirelli (right handle AT) for about half a year? I've been riding it before, so I was very familiar with this kind of car and it was easy to drive.
However, recently, I've become accustomed to seeing the speed digitally on the 911, so it's hard to see at a glance how many kilometers I'm running with this meter ↓ while driving. I couldn't do it (laughs).

I realized that the image inside the car changes a lot just by adding a little white color.
It is understandable that if you put a color such as Miami blue or lizard green as an accent in the car with Porsche, it will have a considerable impact.
In this BMW 118i, the part where this AIR BAG is written still shines in two colors.
This time, there are two colors, orange and blue.
Also, may it be a problem with this individual car? But is the sensitivity of the rain sensor too good? ?? After starting the wiper, it starts slowly at first, but after a while, it may be a terrible rain detection or a tremendous movement (very fast).
No matter how many times you do it. Even though it wasn't so much rain, only my car started speeding up from the middle, and the wiper moved so fast that I couldn't stop laughing. I wonder if it was broken ... what was it? ??
Difference in position of steering center marker between BMW and Porsche 911
and. When I was driving a BMW, the first thing I thought was the "line" on the steering wheel.

The way this line enters is different from Porsche, so when you turn the steering wheel ... When this line comes to the top ... ↓
Yes, from this angle, I could see this line as "the line in the center of the steering wheel".
The so-called top mark or center marker, when the steering wheel is in a straight position, is likely to give the illusion of a vertical line at the 12 o'clock position on the watch.
Well, I think it's just my problem ^^. Anyway, the lines on the left and right are arranged so that they become vertical straight lines when the handle turns and reaches the apex.

The straight line of the center, which is the center marker with the yellow circle at the top. And although the left and right lines are the green circles, the way the lines enter is clearly different from BMW.
Therefore, the lines on the left and right here do not become vertical straight lines that indicate the center even when this part turns to the apex part of the handle. It will be like this ↓
In this way, I always unconsciously recognized that the only line that goes straight at the top of the steering wheel is the center line, and the other lines do not go straight at the top. ,I thought.
That's why in BMW, when a non-center line came to the top, when it became a straight line, I suddenly became worried that it was the center line.
Well, as I wrote earlier, I think this is a problem only for me ^^
No, I was surprised that I was driving with more awareness of the steering center line than I had expected, even though I didn't realize it. I'm really surprised myself!
And even when the left and right lines came to the top, the Porsche handle that was made so that they did not become vertical straight lines was amazing, which was a point that impressed me personally.
BMW 118d
Well, and finally another one.
Do you still have it? It's like that ^^ It's like how many cars are rented as substitutes, but this BMW 118d is also a substitute at one time. This is the same BMW 118, but it is a "diesel car".
The color is silver. As it is diesel, the fuel economy was surprisingly good. It's like "I can run another 1,000 km".
Is this car a dark orange interior? Is it reddish? There is a line. It's fun because the interior of each car you rent is different.
It's a lot of fun to get in a different car like this once in a while ^^
All BMWs are easy to drive, and once you drive, any model will give you a feeling of "Oh, it's a BMW", and it's very satisfying! As expected, BMW! !!
