Ranked 2nd in the BMW Stamp Rally 2021: Part 2

Posted: Posted:

BMW Staplery requires intelligence, strength and luck of time

This is a continuation of the story about the BMW Stamp Rally 2021.The first part is here, so if you don't mind, please go ahead ^^ →"Ranked 2nd in the BMW Stamp Rally: Part 1』\

I wrote that "intelligence, physical strength, luck of time" is necessary to be ranked high in this BMW stamp rally, but this time from the story about the luck of the last time.

"Luck of time"

Originally, the 2021 BMW Stamp Rally was scheduled to start in July and end before the start of full-scale winter.

However, due to the spread of the corona infection, the stamp rally was temporarily suspended, and the end date was postponed from October when it was resumed to December 24th.

What happens with this is that "there is a stamp point that you can't go to in winter". This is exactly the luck of time.

The one who completed all of Hokkaido before it was canceled in Corona was the strongest. I can only say that.

When we went to Hokkaido, the Shiretoko Pass was already closed in winter and we couldn't go to the stamp point, and it seemed that we could actually go to Cape Kamui, but the place set at the stamp point was under construction. It was closed inside, so I thought I couldn't go there, so I dropped it (it seems that it was actually taken before the construction. I should have gone with no good).

By the way, the photo above of the snow is the stamp point "Mikurigaike", but this is also a place that can not be visited in the winter, so I went to get the point just before it was closed.

This Mikuri is a pond, a place that I would never have been to without this stamp rally, but I'm glad I was able to go there really well.

And this winter's Mikuri was such a moving experience for the pond that I couldn't help it.Porsche AR visualizer appMikuriga played with Porsche in the pond.

I think Mikuriga is the only one who brought Porsche to the pond! !!

Yeah? Oh, it was a BMW event (laughs).

Speaking of "luck of time", there is one more thing.

One of the points was the Seta Golf Course in Shiga Prefecture, but when I went here.

How what. The day I went to this Seta Golf Course by chance was the day when a famous golf tournament was held, and the general public was completely shut out.

I talked to the security staff about the situation and asked, "I can get a stamp just by letting me go within about 100m. I came from Tokyo just for this reason." I gave up.

All the security people were really good, and I was very kind and impressed, saying, "I want to put it in, but I'm really sorry because the top is absolutely useless." I didn't bother you, so I left immediately when I was told it wasn't good.

Then, I tried to get closer to everything from the area around the Seta Golf Course (the roads around it), but I couldn't get a stamp.

This is exactly the luck of time. I never thought that it would be impossible for me to enter.

e? So what happened?

Yes, I'm running from Tokyo to Shiga prefecture again just to get a stamp of this golf course at a later date (big idiot (laughs)).

Anyway, in this way, it is a BMW stamp rally that required intelligence, physical strength, and luck of time to win the top prize, but again, it was really fun ^ ^

We were able to experience a place that we would not have been to

It was difficult, but it was really fun to be taken to a place where we wouldn't plan to go.

For example, Yakushima. I think I wouldn't have gone without the stamp rally.

I couldn't bring my own car to Yakushima and Okinawa, so I rented a car in those places.

There are places where you can't drive even though it's a BMW stamp rally

Yes, there is one thing I want to write here.

It seems that the purpose of this BMW stamp rally is "Let's drive with BMW" or at least "Let's drive with a car", but some of what BMW thought "I can not reach by car" "Location" was included in the stamp point.

Those are the following stamp points.

  • Mikurigaike (general cars cannot enter)
  • Kuroshima Venus Road (Because it is a small island floating in the sea ...)
  • Noboribetsu Bear Park (can only be reached by the last ropeway)

Until the end of the stamp rally, Mikuriga-ike recognized those who went to the pond or Venus Road as "the people who are serious about winning the top prize". (Lol).

* Kuroshima Venus Road and Bear Ranch will eventually be accessible by car, which will be described later.

By the way, on Yakushima, I encountered a lot of monkeys and deer ...

Encounter the sights that appear in the world of Totoro.

Anyway, I enjoyed it very much as a tourist spot ^^

In other places, for example, by chance when aiming for a stamp rally point even if it is not a stamp rally point

"Huh? Isn't this a nameless pond known as Monet's Pond?"

I noticed that I could see Monet's Pond.

Again, in our case, I don't think we're going from Tokyo just for this reason, so I was really happy to be able to go there by chance ^^

Anyway, are there so many deer in the mountains of Japan! I also thought (I may not see it, but there is a deer in the center of the road ↓).

I encountered many deer and small animals in the mountains everywhere.

Tanuki played at a certain place in the middle of the night. A raccoon dog that suddenly jumped out in front of the M3 I was driving.

Sprint in front of M3 on the road illuminated by the light of M3. I will follow after that.

On the way, the raccoon dog suddenly enters the grass next to it, so I try to speed up the raccoon dog little by little ...

The moment I accelerate a little, Tanu will jump out in front of the M3. And I sprinted in front of M3 again for about 100m.

Did you repeat this about 3 times? I felt like I was completely played by raccoon dogs. I just felt like I was being told, "Let's run together!"

Maybe you were masqueraded as Tanuki-san in my life? I think this is the first and last experience. It was a very fun experience ^^

I have seen many times the sunrise and sunset that are so moving that I can cry in various places all over Japan.

From the Sea of Okhotsk to the Seto Inland Sea, the sunrise and sunset from the sea that was not familiar to me until now was too moving.

Basically, I wrote that I didn't park my car except for the toilet and refueling, but depending on the location, I enjoyed various meals in the area.

e? There are a lot of ramen (laughs)? Oh, I like big ramen ^^

Points to be improved in the BMW Stamp Rally

From here, I would like to write a little dissatisfaction with BMW's stamp rally.

Because, if it is scheduled to be held again next year (this year), I hope it will be helpful as an opinion from the participants.

I don't want you to change the stamp points

There were some places where the points of the stamp rally were changed in the middle (late stage) of this stamp rally.

For example, Kuroshima Venus Road.

As mentioned above, this is a place where the stamp point was a place that could not be reached by car.

The hurdle was high because we had to cross to Kuroshima by boat or kayak, and it was a point that no one got to the very end.

I was hesitant because of the height of the hurdle, but at the last minute I went to Kuroshima to get a stamp.

But.

This point was changed at the very end, and it was fixed so that you can get a stamp without crossing to Kuroshima.

This is the first point. The stamp point is where the BMW mark is located. ↓

And here is after the modification. No, it's not Kuroshima or Venus Road anymore! !! ↓

If this is done at the very end, the efforts of those who have worked diligently to reach Kuroshima will not be rewarded.

The same is true for bear farms in Hokkaido. The stamp point of the bear ranch was the point where you had to pay the entrance ticket fee of the bear ranch and the ropeway (gondola) fee up to that point.

It was modified to get points under the ropeway towards the end. This is also a "what it" project for the participants who went to the bear ranch seriously.

... Well, in my case, I wouldn't have bothered to go to the bear ranch from Tokyo unless this was the case, and I'm glad I enjoyed it at the bear ranch (laughs).

However, I have the feeling that it is unfair. There is a tremendous difference in the time and effort used to take stamps before and after modification.

Yet another.

At the end of the BMW Stamp Rally, it was said that "points will be given to those who will participate from now on" ↓

Extra points were given by this campaign, and it was not related to the top 10 people already (because there are many points that participants can not get at this point and can never be in the top 10). However, it seems that the results were greatly influenced by those in the 20th to 30th places.

I thought it would be a good idea to give 2 points that the person who is doing from the beginning can never get, aside from the person who is working hard from the beginning, just because he started later.

I think that some people may have cried (20th to 30th place or later).

… And that ’s all for complaints!

Other than these points, I have only really enjoyed the BMW Stamp Rally, and as my family who loves to "play seriously", I am grateful for providing "a place where I can play seriously". There is only.

Even now, there are still times when I want to run and get tired of running, "Oh, don't I need to go running anymore?"

That's whyMaybe I'm running after finding a reason to run^^

On the way, I was temporarily ranked number one in Japan.

Even at this point, I was collecting data from other people, so I knew that it would eventually be overtaken, but it was a very happy moment.

Even so, I had to take off my hat for those who ran for only one place in Hokkaido at the last minute and finally got the same rate of 1st place.

I never thought I could run for that one point ^^

Oh yeah, the children at my house also bought local souvenirs every time we went around Japan, so they were looking forward to "Where are the souvenirs this time ?!" So, I was very supportive of participating in the BMW Stamp Rally (laughs).

Ah, I wrote it for a long time, but it was a very fun BMW stamp rally, even though I thought it was really really crazy (laughs).

By seriously participating in this stamp rally, I now feel like "Can I go normally?" From Tokyo to Aichi prefecture, and my ability to act is stronger than ever. I went up.

For me, who had lived abroad for a long time when I was young, the opportunity to run so many things in every corner of Japan was really valuable, and I had a lot of moving experiences.

Finally ... When I was running somewhere in Japan at night in this stamp rally, I suddenly looked up at the night sky and found the Big Dipper, which was really beautiful and beautiful.

I was not impressed when I saw this Big Dipper.

In Tokyo, can you see Vega at this time of year? However, when I saw the Big Dipper that shined clearly and beautifully in this way, I felt the dignity of the overwhelming champion there, saying, "This cannot be won." I'm sorry for the story that only those who participated in the stamp rally can understand (laughs).

Well, and finally in February, there was an announcement of prizes to the top 10 winners.

Below is the prize list.

I haven't received it yet, but from this table, it seems that my family can get a fountain pen.

Looking at the catalog that was sent with me, it was probably worth about 80,000 yen (the first M chronograph is about 100,000 yen).

Impressed by the prizes that are more expensive than I expected. I would like to sign the contract for the next BMW order with the fountain pen I received (laughs).

Once again, it was a really, really, really fun BMW stamp rally!

"Playing seriously" is really fun, and I am grateful to BMW for providing this "place to play seriously".

It was really fun and happy to be able to run around Japan and take me to a place I wouldn't have been able to go without this stamp rally.

The BMW M3 is also a great car. It's fun no matter how much you run.

Thank you to BMW and, above all, to all the top 10 players who have been competing as good rivals together for a good time!

I am looking forward to the day when we can talk with each other. Thank you so much ^^! !!

Yeah? Did you notice that the screenshots of the smartphone screen used in this blog and the smartphone time at the time of shooting are all 9:11? Fufufu.

As a result of BMW Stamp Rally 2021 and 2nd place in the whole country, I am very satisfied!
