On August 12, 2026, Louis Vuitton and Singer collaborated to unveil two special Porsche 911s.
Louis Vuitton (hereinafter referred to as LV), which champions the philosophy of "Art of Travel," has teamed up with Singer for this project, bringing the expertise and craftsmanship it has cultivated over the years into the world of automobiles.

The first car to be unveiled was the "Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic".
This car features a special color scheme unique to LV, using saffron, cobalt blue, and yellow, which are iconic colors of the brand.

And the second car is the "Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic Turbo".
This is a convertible designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, the artistic director of LV's women's collection, and features a Calcaire Lutétien White body color combined with beautiful wood trim.

These two vehicles are equipped with specially made LV items tailored to each vehicle, and are designed to be vehicles that allow you to enjoy the journey itself as the "Art of Living."
It all started with the Tambour dashboard clock.
Apparently, this project started with a conversation between LV and the singer.
Apparently, the request was to create a dashboard clock for a car that had been rebuilt by Singer.
At the heart of the project was a mechanical clock that could also be used as a desk clock by removing its components. The design of this clock was inspired by the iconic LV "Tambour" watch, drawing inspiration from its distinctive case shape and the design of the 12 polished letters that make up the "LOUIS VUITTON" name engraved on the bezel.

Apparently, once they incorporated this watch into the cockpit, it became clear that LV's involvement couldn't be limited to just this timepiece.
Therefore, in order to achieve a complete sense of unity throughout the entire interior, they even undertook a major technical and design challenge: redesigning the instrument displays.
At first glance, it might seem like "Is that all?", but it's said that this task alone took a full year to complete.
LV designers redesigned every detail, from the speedometer and rev counter to the various gauges, incorporating the iconic Tambour series graphic design into the hands, dial edges, and indices. The vibrant cobalt blue is accented with bright orange lettering, resulting in a design that balances the craftsmanship of high-end watchmaking with the stringent requirements demanded by automobiles.

Inspired by LV's "Art of Travel" philosophy, this project ultimately evolved to redesign the entire car, aiming to truly fuse the Singer's architectural and timeless design language with LV's culture, characterized by refined materials, travel, and a distinctive style.

This collaboration was also a first in LV's history, marking the first time LV has created items for a co-brand. It was also an unprecedented undertaking for Singer.
Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic
Now, let's take a look at the details of the two models that were announced.
First up is "Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic".
In addition to its saffron and cobalt blue color scheme, it is equipped with a specially designed roof rack that can carry trunks, surfboards, and even skis.

It seems that every single detail and part is reconstructed to a level of savoir-faire (craftsmanship) rarely seen in the automotive industry, and great importance is placed on giving each part a clear meaning.
The saffron used for the body is a color that has existed in Louis Vuitton's archives for over 150 years and has been used on their packaging for over 20 years. It is also a color that is closely related to "Bahama Yellow," which has a deep connection to Singer's early commissions.

Furthermore, it has a historical connection to automobiles, and is said to be an homage to a travel trunk made for Citroën in 1924, which already featured cobalt blue interior reinforcement in that travel case.
This Classic model features distinctive cobalt blue demonstration tires inspired by the handles and ribbons used in LV packaging, and the rear engine air intake grille subtly incorporates a geometric pattern composed of the initials "L" and "V".
Of course, the interior also reflects LV's distinctive style.
The entire cabin uses natural-colored leather, inspired by VVT leather, one of the most frequently used leathers by Louis Vuitton.

The leather for the seats was selected by LV's skilled craftsmen, who chose a texture and color that perfectly matched the VVT leather-like trim used in the interior. The Singer team then carried out the actual leatherwork.
The door handles feature the same edge-dyeing technique used on LV bags, and the stitching uses yellow thread.

The diamond pattern embossing on the seats, front trunk trim, and rear engine compartment recreates the "malletage" motif that characterizes the interior of LV trunks.
The seats feature ventilation eyelets, each hand-finished and adorned with the iconic LV monogram flower design. This motif is also used on the sun visors and headrests.

Aiming for an aesthetic level rarely achieved in modern automotive design, the plastic parts commonly used in car interiors have been replaced with high-quality, handcrafted parts made from natural materials.
The adjustment knobs, control switches, locks, pull tabs, and air vents are made of metal, and many of them are rhodium-plated.

Each part is handcrafted using the same techniques as those used in making high-end watches, with careful consideration given not only to the feel of the material but also to reflections and how light hits it. The polishing and satin finishing know-how cultivated in watchmaking is utilized in every detail.

Furthermore, attention to detail is evident in every aspect, such as the use of the distinctive font found on LV watch components for markings on the fuel cap and oil cap.

Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – A Special Travel Collection for the Classic
To truly embody the Art of Travel, LV focused on the wearable items for its owners, creating a special travel collection that utilizes Millésime leather reminiscent of a cabin, finished in the same saffron, cobalt blue, and yellow as their cars.

For the drivers, we offer racing jackets made from leather with a natural grain, and straight-cut jeans made from thick denim using cotton and silk.
Furthermore, there are two types of driving shoes: one is the "LV Rally," a car shoe featuring the LV initials on the side and a rubber-padded sole.
Another option is the hiking-style "LV Remix Derby," which incorporates traditional details, with a deep blue key bell adorned with the "Louis Vuitton Singer" project and monogram flower eyelets.
The driving gloves are perforated and come in natural or cobalt blue.
Furthermore, they even offer a jet helmet made of carbon and fiberglass, featuring calf leather trim and a riveted peak.

The car keys are also specially designed; when you open the case, which can hold six keys, you'll find a "Louis Vuitton x Singer" stamp.
A separate item, a cloche-style keychain, is available and features LV's signature blue color. It can be attached to a bag handle or worn around the neck.

Furthermore, there's a pouch for vehicle documents, inspired by business sleeves from the 1950s.
The luggage compartment is also designed specifically for the car, and the helmet bag, inspired by the 1950s, can store a dedicated helmet, with the color of its hardware matching that of the fuel cap.

The "Bisten," which has its roots in the suitcase that LV first featured in its catalog in 1892, comes with a blue handle and name tag, and allows you to store clothes flat without wrinkles.
The Keepall, a bag that has been an iconic LV item since 1930, can hold a week's worth of wardrobe. Furthermore, a specially shaped bag is provided for the front trunk, allowing the two bags to fit snugly into the nose section.

In fact, the relationship between LV and automobiles is quite old; as early as 1897, Georges Vuitton was already providing a special trunk that could be secured to the rear or roof of an automobile, which was equipped with a patented lock that was groundbreaking at the time.

The roof rack, specially made for this vehicle, is designed to perfectly fit the shape of the car body, and it can even hold Louis Vuitton surfboards and skis.

Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic Turbo
After the coupe's design was finalized, the creative collaboration between LV and Singer reportedly evolved further, resulting in the "Classic Turbo," a convertible equipped with a turbocharger.
The white body is subtly combined with brown accents, and the interior uses leather and wood.

The Classic Turbo is said to reflect a vision to fuse two different worlds: "navigation" and "automobiles."
Furthermore, since their goal was to create a car that would allow drivers to directly experience the world, nature, and the sun, the choice of a convertible was a natural one from the start.

The large rear spoiler, typical of a turbo model, emphasizes its performance, while the rear luggage compartment is technically very advanced; when opened, it apparently reveals a teak-like wood deck reminiscent of a classic motorboat.
The body color is reminiscent of "Calcaire Lutétien," the white limestone used in the historic Louis Vuitton headquarters on Pont Neuf, which shapes the Parisian cityscape and overlooks the Seine River.

It features understated gold accents reminiscent of jewelry, combined with the natural tones of leather and wood.
Just like the coupe, everything in this convertible, from functional components to decorative parts, has been redesigned by the LV and Singer teams.
The dedicated dashboard clock also has a different placement than in the Classic; it's not integrated into the instrument cluster behind the steering wheel, but instead positioned in the center of the center console, which is covered in natural leather.

The dashboard features Louis Vuitton's signature, and apparently, the same signature appears in the taillights when it gets dark.
The trim around the shift lever below the dashboard clock features a natural leather drawstring, reminiscent of the silhouette of LV's "Noé" bag.

Behind the seats is a luggage compartment that was developed specifically to fit the unique shape of this vehicle.
It features a technical wood shell covered in leather, and the wood is varnished using the same technique as that used for runabout decks.
This luggage compartment can accommodate not only the dedicated LV luggage but also a lightweight soft top inspired by the world of seafaring.

Wood paneling is also used in the rear engine compartment and front trunk.
The front trunk houses a custom-made trunk made up of three cases, which, when combined, create a storage space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
The front and rear hoods are also equipped with leather fastening straps with pin buckles.
The design is said to subtly evoke motorsport, the tradition of trunk making, and watch straps.

Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – A special travel collection for the Classic Turbo
The Classic Turbo also has its own exclusive capsule collection, which draws inspiration from the car's design itself, featuring a white body, wood accents, and gold used like jewelry.

The "Tambour Automatic" is a wristwatch designed to complement the clock in the center console. It is made of 40mm ceramic and yellow gold, and the bracelet has no visible pins, creating a seamless design.

When not in use, both the dashboard clock and the wristwatch can be stored in the "Coffret Tresor." This was first created by Georges Vuitton in 1896, and this time it has been redesigned as a pair.

Furthermore, bespoke suits made from parachute silk were also produced for the drivers. Instead of directly attaching the logo, the second initial of LV, "V," was expressed through three-dimensional V-shaped stitching, and subtle engravings were also added to the zipper pulls and snaps.
The driving gloves are crafted from woven leather to fit the hand and feature a single snap closure with a hand-painted monogram.
The package also includes "LV Sneakerina" sneakers and sunglasses, as well as a dedicated flat case for documents and a large piece of luggage.
The keychain features the "LV Blazon" emblem of the collection.
The "Monogram Heritage" necklace features a leather key bell and medallion hanging from the chain, allowing you to carry your car keys with you.
A fusion of two masterful craftsmanship: Singer and Louis Vuitton.
Singer is known for its meticulous craftsmanship in restoring classic Porsche 911s to the owner's specifications, paying attention to every single detail.
And I believe that LV is also a brand that has accumulated a wealth of craftsmanship, paying meticulous attention to detail in each of its fields, such as trunks, leather goods, and watches, throughout its long history.
When two brands that have perfected their respective fields of "attention to detail" and "craftsmanship" seriously collaborate, it's only natural that something amazing would be created.
I think these two units could only have been realized by Singer and LV, and although the price hasn't been announced, I think it will be completely out of reach for the average person, so I'd rather just leave it at that (lol).
