Porsche and Smeg present a limited edition kitchen appliance collection

A collaboration between Porsche and SMEG, a home appliance manufacturer founded in Emilia-Romagna, Italy in 1948, has been announced.

The partnership brings together two brands that represent performance, craftsmanship and timeless style to create a limited-edition collection of kitchen appliances that will resonate with design and automotive enthusiasts alike.

The collection includes everything from small items such as coffee machines and kettles to refrigerators.

Commemorating Porsche's first overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans

The core of this Porsche x Smeg collection is a series inspired by the Porsche 917KH (Salzburg livery), which took Porsche's first overall victory at the 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans.

These Salzburg limited edition series are limited to just 1,970 units each, and each will have a serial number.

Porsche and Smeg say these products are not just household appliances, but design statements made for those with a motorsport heritage and a love of the extraordinary.

Another collaboration product is a series finished in Porsche's signature colors, Carrara White Metallic and Shade Green Metallic.

It is finished with matte black accents and striped designs.

Now, let's take a look at the limited edition collaboration collection announced this time. The Salzburg design is limited to 1,970 units, so if you want one, you'd better hurry!

Fridge 917 Salzburg: Fridge 917 Salzburg

This refrigerator is the most expensive item in the collection, limited to 1,970 units, each with a serial number on a metal plate.

As the product name suggests, the color scheme is Porsche 917 KH Salzburg Red. The iconic Porsche stripes run across the door and both sides of the refrigerator, along with the number 23. This 23 reflects the starting number of the Porsche that won Le Mans in 1970.

Bean-to-Cup Coffee Machine 917 Salzburg: Coffee Machine 917 Salzburg

This Bean-to-Cup coffee machine, the 917 Salzburg, is the most expensive small appliance available. It is also limited to 1,970 units and comes with a numbered metal plate.

The body is of course in the 917 Salzburg colors and the number on the car is 23. Matte black accents are featured on the front panel, steam wand, and drip tray.

In addition to its design, this machine also features a built-in coffee grinder, providing professional-quality freshly ground coffee at the touch of a button.

Fridge: Refrigerator

This is the same refrigerator, but it's not the Salzburg version.

It features a 270L refrigerator and a 26L freezer, and features special door and handle designs that reflect the Porsche 911 GT3RS.

It comes in two colors: Carrara White Metallic and Shade Green Metallic.

Toaster: Toaster

The toaster is said to be inspired by 1950s style and comes in two colors: Carrara White Metallic and Shade Green Metallic.

It has six levels of toasting adjustment, and also comes with three convenient functions: a reheat function to reheat toasted bread, a defrost function to defrost frozen bread, and a bagel function to toast only one side.

Kettle

This kettle also combines Smeg's 59s style with Porsche design, and is available in two colors: Carrara White Metallic and Shade Green Metallic.

It has a capacity of 1.7L (enough for 7 cups), a soft-opening lid ensures smooth use, a removable stainless steel limescale descaler filter keeps the water clean, a 360° rotating base allows for free positioning, and a safety design that automatically shuts off at 100°C.

Blender

This also features Smeg's 1950s style and comes in two colors: Carrara White Metallic and Shade Green Metallic.

It comes with four manual speed settings and three preset programs: smoothie, green smoothie, and crushed ice. It also has a pulse function with three intensity settings for more precise control.

The self-cleaning feature makes it easy to clean, and the built-in measuring cup in the lid allows you to safely add ingredients while blending.

...But after writing this far, I'm starting to wonder if this blog is actually a product sales website? (lol)

The Porsche x Smeg collection will be available from October 15, 2025 at Smeg flagship stores, authorized dealers and select retailers.Porsche Design Storeand Porsche Center,smeg.comand porsche.com, as well as in selected design and concept stores.

I don't know if it's available in Japan (please note that stores like the Porsche Design Store in the US don't ship to Japan). I think it might be difficult to sell it in Japan because of differences in voltage.
