The 33rd Morning Mission will be held to commemorate the 4th anniversary of PEC Tokyo, "Morning Mission Reunion 2025"
The 33rd Porsche Morning Mission was held on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, as "Morning Mission Reunion 2025" to commemorate the 4th anniversary of the Porsche Experience Center Tokyo.
I was really excited when PEC Tokyo opened, and from the first time I experienced it until now, every experience here has been a fond memory, and I can't believe it's already been four years since PEC Tokyo opened.
Congratulations on your 4th anniversary, Porsche Experience Center Tokyo!

Well, I was also able to participate in this Morning Mission Reunion 2025, so I would like to write about that day.
This time, when applying, the slots were roughly divided into "advance reservation slots (Porsche Club members, etc.)," "Porsche slots," and "other car slots." Those who applied through the advance reservation and Porsche slots were able to park their cars on the PEC Tokyo premises, while those participating with other cars had to park their cars in an external parking lot and take a shuttle bus to PEC Tokyo.
Basically, the main parking lot is reserved for Porsche club members, while Porsche owners who are not club members park in what is usually known as the kick plate area.
I also parked at this kick plate.

Since we arrived a little early in the morning, there weren't many cars yet, but more and more Porsches continued to gather.
When I passed over the part of the kick plate that would normally send me flying to the left or right with a loud bang, I got a little nervous, wondering if I would be able to deal with it if it malfunctioned and sent me flying (lol).

After parking the car at the kick plate lot, we walked to the PEC Tokyo building.
At that time, I was able to walk past this big "PORSCHE" lettering, so just seeing it made me excited.

The venue has a German feel to it.
When we arrived at the PEC Tokyo facility, there were many tables and chairs set up, which was unusual.
The table and chairs here are said to be inspired by the German Oktoberfest.

There is also a stage in the center.

On this day, various talk shows and other events were held on this stage.

Inside the building, a 911 Cup car was on display in the center.
thisThe livery was designed through a public competition. That's why it's cool, isn't it?

There were also various other exhibits from the day's sponsors.
For example, another exhibit was Ducati, which anyone could test ride on the day.
On display at the facility was a Burning Red XDiavel V4.

There were many Ducatis parked on the handling track for test rides.

There will also be an exhibition of ROLF BENZ, a leading German furniture brand.

And then there's Tag Heuer...

PUMA too.

*As I was busy chatting with acquaintances that day, I wasn't able to see everything properly, so I apologize if there are any sponsors I've missed out on introducing here.
Main Stage Event
There were a variety of events taking place on the main stage that day.
The hosts for the day were freelance announcer/automotive journalist Ando Hiroki and bilingual MC/narrator/reporter Emiri.

Michelin's Bibendum also appears.

Next on stage,LoopwheelerofRon SuzukiA talk session...

There was also a performance by calligrapher/artist Yuna Okanishi.
During the performance, the letters on the hood of the Taycan Turbo GT were written on the spot, and we watched as they were written in gold on the stage in front of us.
Since we started the performance without being told what characters we were going to write, by the time we got to this point below, we were all excited and talking amongst ourselves, saying things like, "Could this be 'grass'? Grass lol" (lol).
...Sorry (lol)

However, of course, the word written on the hood of the Turbo GT is not grass (obviously, lol), but actually "Dream."
That's right, it's truly Driven by Dreams.

After the word "dream" was written, the model name was also written separately, as the car that this "dream" was written about was the Taycan Turbo GT.
I don't think it's often that you see calligraphy that uses only katakana and the alphabet.

The hood with the word "Dream" written on it was quickly removed by a mechanic and then attached to the Taycan Turbo GT and returned.
This is the finished product.

However, no matter how many times I look at this character for "dream," I am impressed by how beautifully it is written and how skillfully it was written.
It may be rude to compliment a professional calligrapher/artist by calling him good at his work, but no matter how many times I look at it, I can only think, "He's so good!" I'm so impressed by how good he is (I don't have enough vocabulary to describe it).
But seriously, everything from the letters themselves to the balance of the overall design is wonderful, and it's amazing that he was able to write this in one go right in front of me (and on the hood of a Turbo GT, which is probably harder to write on than paper).

Next up was a talk session with Porsche designer Shuichi Yamashita.

After the talk session, Yamashita-san also had a signing session, and I managed to get an autograph from him too ^^
There will be Mission X posters available for everyone to sign.

This autograph session was held at the PEC Tokyo delivery ceremony, so when I got the autograph, I couldn't help but tell Yamashita, "I love the 911 (for some reason).I had it delivered the other day" I pointed to the plate of the person who had delivered the car and said, "
Self-satisfaction explodes ^^
At this point, 12 people (vehicles) had attended the delivery ceremony at PEC Tokyo.

Afterwards, there was a talk session with Iron Dames' female drivers Rahel Frey and Tetsuya Harada (Rahel Frey also held an autograph session), but I left the venue at lunchtime, so I'm sorry I don't have any photos.
German lunch
Since there was a paid event, lunch was also provided to participants.
Lunch will be collected at the lunch box pick-up location.
*For those who have signed up separately for the buffet lunch at Restaurant 906, lunch is also available there (additional charge).

What was the lunch menu distributed as a lunch box on this day? The tables and chairs provided were reminiscent of Oktoberfest, and the menu really conveyed PEC Tokyo's desire to "feel Germany."
The lunch menu for this day was full of what we would probably immediately think of as "German cuisine." Apparently, the dishes were all made at PEC Tokyo.
This is pretty amazing, isn't it?
Pretzels, sauerkraut, German sausages, and German potato salad. Someone bring me a craft beer!

The pretzels were not hard, but soft, perhaps because they are made for Japan, and there was plenty of margarine (?) in the center, so it was quite difficult for an elderly person like me to finish the whole thing, including the margarine, but I still managed to enjoy them all.

There were also food trucks and desserts on sale.
If they had sold desserts I would have bought some.
I noticed it first and even took a photo, but while we were eating and talking I completely forgot about it. What a shame.

In addition, by applying in advance, people were able to experience demonstrations of the GT3 RS, 911 Carrera GTS, and Taycan Turbo, as well as driving the 911 Carrera GTS and Cayenne, so some people were able to experience these as well.
There were also workshops for kids, and workshops for adults included the 911 GT3 Manthey, 911 GT3 RS, and Taycan Turbo GT.

On the second floor, a simulator racing competition called the "Simulator Lab Championship" will be held.
There will also be a Tamiya radio-controlled car experience driving event.

Amazingly, a course like this was set up indoors, and those who wanted to could race Tamiya's Porsche 911 GT3 R radio-controlled car here.

When I saw it, there were a lot of crashes (lol).

There will also be an event where people who post photos on social media using the hashtag will be selected to receive a prize, as well as a Porsche coloring (design) contest for children.
Various Porsches were parked and on display near the entrance to the PEC Tokyo building and in the parking area just before the handling track.

The Dakar had roof lights installed, so the owner turned them on.
This photo doesn't really do it justice, but the lights were pretty bright.

The Porsches of all the participants were also parked in the parking lot, so I'm sure many people enjoyed just looking at them.

IType 7 Fried Egg Grill BadgeI was so touched to discover someone wearing it. So cute ^^

A few days before the event, it was predicted that it would rain quite a bit, but in reality it was mostly cloudy from morning until noon, with maybe just a brief drizzle.
I left in the afternoon, so there may have been a little rain afterwards, but I was glad that the event didn't end in heavy rain as had been predicted at the beginning.

I head back to my car, parked in the kick plate area.
The view there was completely different from the morning, with many Porsches and two GT3 RSs right in front of me.

I saw several cars with license plates from far away areas, so it seemed that some people had come from quite far away.
I think it was a good opportunity for everyone to enjoy Porsche and get to know/reunite with Porsche friends.

Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms at PEC Tokyo
We also checked out the cherry blossoms (Somei Yoshino) that were planted to commemorate the first anniversary of PEC Tokyo on this day, the fourth anniversary of PEC Tokyo.
The leaves are growing quite a bit.

By the way, this is a Somei-Yoshino cherry tree in its first year after being planted.

Watching them grow bigger is one of the joys of visiting PEC Tokyo.
Well, Morning Mission Reunion 2025 was a fun day, surrounded by so many Porsches and able to greet and talk with so many people.
Something you shouldn't see?
Can I tell you one last scary story?
Actually, this day.
When I first parked my car on the kick plate and approached the PEC Tokyo building, I met everyone I knew.
So we had a short chat, and the first person I met when I got in the car and entered the venue was
"I met you just now, and I see you brought your child in the back today ^^"
When.
picture.
No, no, I was alone at the venue that day, so I was the only one in the car, driving. There was no one else in the car.
But then I thought, "Oh, there's a child behind me."
Oh no, it's scary.
I was talking to everyone there and we were saying things like, "Maybe we've brought something here (laughs)."
Yes, it was this one after all ↓
When I looked at him from outside through the window under a cloudy sky, he looked suspiciously like he was saying, "Is there something sitting there?" So when I passed him while driving slowly, I wondered if he looked like a child in the back seat.

But what if what I was seeing wasn't this bear but something else entirely?!

That's all.

You may be wondering what we talked about at the end (lol), but it was a fun day chatting with everyone ^^
