Porsche has announced that for the new model year of the Macan Electric (hereinafter referred to as Macan EV), a new option package has been created that combines particularly popular options, and that the standard equipment has also been expanded.
What is the Advanced Package for the Macan EV?
The new package announced this time is called the "Advanced Package," which is a collection of popular optional equipment carefully selected for the Macan EV.
The following models are eligible for this advanced package:
- Macan EV
- Macan 4 EV
- Macan 4S EV
The options included in the Advanced Package are as follows:
- Panoramic roof system
- Matrix LED headlights
- Interior/exterior mirrors with automatic anti-glare function
- Exterior colors can be selected from the "Shades" or "Contrasts" color palettes.
- 14-way electrically adjustable comfort seat
- Black Leather Package
- Bose® Surround Sound System
- Power Steering Plus
- Includes adaptive air suspension with leveling system and ride height adjustment function (Porsche Active Suspension Management/PASM).
The price of this advanced package in Germany is €5,990.46 (approximately ¥1,100,000) for the Macan and Macan 4, and €5,299.07 (approximately ¥970,000) for the Macan 4S (all prices include VAT).
Furthermore, compared to selecting and adding these options individually, purchasing this package can save you up to 45% depending on the model.

More driver assistance systems and more powerful charging capabilities are included as standard equipment.
The Macan EV's standard equipment will also be expanded, with comfort and driver assistance features coming standard from the new model year.
For example, in addition to adaptive cruise control, it includes an automatic parking function with 2D surround view.
This system is supposed to automatically activate the turn signals, perform both parallel parking and perpendicular parking (parking at right angles to the parking space), and even automatically exit a parallel parking space. But I wonder how accurate it actually is...
Other parking features include an optional remote park assist that allows you to control parking operations via your smartphone.
Furthermore, the Macan EV reportedly offers significantly improved smartphone charging speeds, with a dedicated wireless charging function in the center console now offering up to 25 watts (compared to the previous 15 watts).
The Macan GTS and Macan Turbo now come standard with an improved AC charging output, featuring a 22kW onboard charger.
This will enable faster charging at public AC charging stations and compatible wall boxes.
The standard AC charging capacity for the Macan, Macan 4, and Macan 4S is a maximum of 11kW, but it seems that a 22kW onboard charger can be equipped as an option.
Furthermore, all Macan models can be charged at a maximum of 270kW as standard at compatible DC fast charging stations.
