Porsches at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed

July 11-14, 2025: Goodwood Festival of Speed

At the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which was held at Goodwood House in West Sussex, England for four days from July 11th to 14th, 2025, it seems that various Porsches were in action and exhibited again this year, so I would like to take a look.

Dua Lipa and Adrien Brody

Singer Dear Lipa has appeared at and collaborated with Porsche events several times in the past, and this time she unveiled a custom-made Porsche 911 GT3 RS that will be auctioned off to benefit the Sunny Hill Foundation.

The name of this limited edition collection car is the "Porsche x Puma x Dua Lipa Rennstall Collection." Puma is also involved.

Dua Lipa also enjoyed the hill climb, an iconic part of the Goodwood event, with the all-female racing team, Iron Dames.

Two-time Academy Award-winning actor Adrien Brody also appeared in the documentary film "The Intern," about his experience working behind the scenes at Porsche as an intern, and was also present at the film's premiere.

It was first shown at a unique drive-in theater featuring 30 legendary Porsches, and the atmosphere alone seems amazing.

Hill Climb

The theme of the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed will be "The Winning Formula – Champions and Challengers," and Porsche will be showcasing the latest generation motorsport-inspired 911 GT3 in line with this theme.

Models are available with and without wings (Touring Package), and the Touring Package is the first GT3 to offer rear seats as a no-cost option, making it a sports car for everyday use that can be further customized to suit the preferences of the family, according to Porsche.

A Porsche 911 GT3RS equipped with a Manthey kit will also be on display.

The Manthey Kit is a factory-approved package that makes full use of motorsport technology and concepts, from the high-revving naturally aspirated engine that produces 525 horsepower (PS) to its lightweight structure. What most directly links the GT3 RS to the GT3 R racing car is "the cooling system, aerodynamic characteristics, and especially the distinctive rear wing and air resistance reduction system."

Iron Dames 911 GT3 R

The 911 GT3 R has also been put into practice by the Iron Dames x Porsche racing team, with Iron Dames competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the seventh consecutive year in June.

Of the 62 teams competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, they were the only team comprised entirely of female drivers.

This time they also took part in the Timed Shootout (a hill climbing time attack competition), with Sarah Bovy driving a 565 horsepower (PS) 911 GT3 R (supported by Karen Gaillard of the Porsche Carrera Cup France Junior).

Also taking part will be a 992-type 911 GT3 Cup car used in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship. The driver will be Carrera Cup GB junior driver James Wallis.

Cayenne Electric Prototype

The fully electric Cayenne Electric is also here. It's still camouflaged, but it's a cool type of camouflage.

The driver on site was Gabriela Jílková, a development driver for Porsche Formula E.

By the way, this female driver...In June, the same Cayenne EV broke the record at the Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb in the UK.The person who did it. It's amazing that you can drive the Cayenne EV perfectly.

Preparations for mass production of the Cayenne EV are apparently progressing smoothly, and the next time it will be shown to the public will be at the IAA Mobility Show in Munich in September 2025.

Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach PackageThis decal is easy to understand from the side, but when viewed from the front it leaves quite an impressive impression.

When viewed from the side, you can see that the design has a black line extending from the word "Taycan"...

When you look at it from the front, you wonder what on earth is going on? Is it like a black line extending from the Taycan going all the way around the car?

House of Porsche and Porsche Café Le Mans

At the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the House of Porsche is the brand's main base at the festival, where you can see the latest highlights of the current model lineup, as well as Porsche classics.

The 911 Spirit 70 Edition will also be on display.

The House of Porsche apparently had the latest merchandise for sale, as well as watches.

There was also a cafe called Cafe Le Mans with a spacious seating area, a giant screen showing the Goodwood Hill Climb, and a children's area with fun free activities.

Porsche 963 RSP and Count Rossi 917

It was possible to make a reservation to have a meal at Cafe Le Mans, but the place had a very special exhibit: the 963 RSP and Count Rossi 917.

The Porsche 963 RSP was just unveiled ahead of the recent 24 Hours of Le Mans.It is a one-off sister car to the Porsche 963 hypercar that can be driven on public roads.

The other is another special Porsche that first hit the road 50 years ago: 917 chassis 30, aka Count Rossi.

At the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025, members of Porsche Club GB, the second largest Porsche club in the world, will be exhibiting up to 250 Porsches.

The first Porsche club was founded in Germany in 1952. Since then, over 700 clubs have been established around the world, and the club now boasts over 240,000 members in 86 countries.

At the Porsche factory, you can see parent-child pairs (early on, we see a daughter (employee) who says, "My dad used to make engines for the Carrera GT"), twins working together, and everyone is portrayed as proud and enjoying working at Porsche, and as a "family."
