Meet the new Porsche 911 GTS at the University of Tokyo
The other day, at the Yasuda Auditorium of the University of TokyoI participated in the symposium "LEARN with Porsche"For me, the content of the symposium was excellent, but even more than that, it was a wonderful encounter in front of this wonderful Yasuda Auditorium.
Here is it.
Yes, you mean the new 992.2 Porsche 911 GTS?

Oh no, what a sudden encounter!
My only thought on that day was to attend the symposium, so I didn't have even a millimeter of expectation that I would actually meet GTS.

And yet, suddenly, a Porsche 911 GTS appeared in front of me. Yes, this was the latest 992.2 model, which is Porsche's pride and joy.The first hybrid model of the Porsche 911 equipped with the T-Hybrid!!!

I had thought, "I want to see the actual car," but when I actually saw it, I found that I was already used to seeing it in photos and was able to accept the new shape quite naturally.

The biggest visual feature of the T-Hybrid GTS is undoubtedly the unprecedented vertical fins (active cooling air flaps) on the front!
So I went to see it…

Well, when I first saw the spy shots, I thought, "What are those vertical fins? Are you serious?", which was rude of me, but then I saw various spy shots and photos after the world premiere and got used to it...
Yes, yes, even though it was my first time meeting the GTS, the vertical fins also looked really good on it, and it just looked really cool! (I've been brainwashed by Porsche (lol)).

There is also another Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo.

It was a deep green and very beautiful.

Above all, being able to encounter Porsche on the University of Tokyo campus, including a new model that I was seeing for the first time, was extremely exciting for me.

The combination of Yasuda Auditorium and the Porsche was incredibly cool and it was an absolutely ecstatic experience.

It may be a while before the Porsche 911 (992.2 type) GTS runs around the streets of Japan, but I'm looking forward to having more opportunities to see it in the future.
