Porsche and Puma have announced a new collaboration to celebrate Andial's 50th anniversary. Available now.
Andial is a tuning company based in Southern California, USA, whose founders were all former Porsche engineers. It started in the 1970s when Porsche began modifying cars for racing.
Looking into the details, Andial was founded in 1975 by Arnold Wagner, Dieter Inzenhofer, and Alwin Springer, and the company name is a combination of their names.
Known for improving performance and power, Andial has had great success in IMSA and other racing series, developing engines and parts for racing Porsche models.
Porsche then acquired Andial in 2013 and integrated its expertise into Porsche Motorsport North America.
This collection celebrates Andial's 50th anniversary and pays tribute to its motorsport traditions.
Limited edition T-shirts and other items feature the Andial 935-L "Moby Dick," the car that is said to have caused a sensation at Daytona in 1983.
They also paid attention to small details such as the Andial logo on the sleeve and the Puma logo at the bottom front.
The sneakers also carry on the tradition of the 935-L Moby Dick, featuring color stripes and racing numbers (maybe just on the box? We're not sure), among other things.
The heel part has a Porsche crest, extra shoelaces, a custom box, etc. Only 935 sets of these sneakers will be sold worldwide.
The black version will also only be available in 935 sets worldwide.
The 1:43 scale model car will also be sold in limited quantities. Only 300 units will be made in the world. …But that's not 935 units, is it? (laughs)
