Porsche Carrera GT suspension issue finally fixed

As some of you may know, over the past year and a half or so, a recall has been issued for all units of the Carrera GT, Porsche's pride and joy, a supercar equipped with a V10 engine, worldwide, and as a result, the car has been "suspended from operation."

The recall is related to the suspension, and concerns that if the control arm corrodes and fails, it could lead to an accident. However, no countermeasures have been put in place to date, and most Carrera GTs around the world are in a pending state where they cannot be driven or repaired.

In response to this incident, Porsche is not only repairing the Carrera GT with new suspension arms, but is also running a certain campaign.

The offer is to give a new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 (N tire) for the Carrera GT to anyone who has their Carrera GT recalled for repair.

...Well, but the Carrera GT was a car that had been "not allowed to be driven" for a year and a half, so I guess owners would think it's okay to drive it that much.

It would be great if the recall were handled quickly in Japan as well, and if a campaign offering free Michelin tires were also implemented.
